Taylor and Sincere have been dating for years now, so long that they considered it a good idea to move in together, probably even keep the same apartment when they eventually got married. Things were good for a long while, but after so much time together, they began to grow tired of each other. Taylor would go out for hours on end, getting drunk with his friends, and doing who knows what. Sincere sought to get her revenge by manipulating him to do everything she wanted when they were together. The relationship is nearly dead, except there is some unseen force keeping them together while they destroy each other. Will this force make them reconcile, will they separate, or will they destroy each other? Only time can tell.

Personality: He is very outgoing and always gives the appearance of being one of the coolest and most awesome guys to hang out with. He loves going to parties, and general merry-making, especially if it involves alcohol. Despite all of this, he is still a rather sweet guy, and does not want to hurt anyone.
Bio: He is surprisingly quiet about his history. He has not even told much to (girl's name), though he has hinted that he did not have the best of childhoods. He met (girl) in high school, back when he was still a bit of a hoodlum, but she softened him up, and he fell in love with her immediately. He didn't go to college, but he followed her around and was her over-protective boyfriend while she was in college. Once she graduated, they moved in together, and he had been making moves to try and marry her, but they kept waiting.

It wasn't until six that afternoon that he finally returned home from his job at the construction site. He fumbled for the front door of their apartment, managed to find it and open, then slumped inside, barely awake enough to remember to close the door behind him. He shuffled over to the couch and collapsed onto it, swearing in his head that never again would he go out drinking on a work night. He couldn't remember what all Sincere had on her schedule today, so he had no clue when she would be home, or if she was home already.

He had heard her walking up the stairs, and had considered getting up and arranging the room, but he was too exhausted. He could tell from her pace once inside the room that she was mad about something, and he dreaded finding out what it could possibly be. "I thought I had closed it, I'm sorry," he said in response to her aggressive question, "I think the latch might be sticking. I'll fix it over the weekend." He shoved himself into a sitting position so as to not take up the entire couch, but as soon as he was up, his head slumped back and he was nearly asleep again. Waking up once more as he heard her walking about the apartment, he followed up, "I'll make dinner in a minute, I'm just a little tired at the moment." So a little was an understatement, but he didn't want to seem pathetic to her.

"That might be a good idea, if you don't mind." He looked over at Sincere, and with just a glance could tell she was furious at him. "I'm sorry about the door, I'll be more careful about it." He was pretty sure she was mad about more than just the door, but it was a start. Maybe one of these days he could find out why she hated him so much, but for now he would just fix the little things and hope that would cease her anger.

"I'll take the same," he was too tired to bother with thinking about what he actually wanted, but he had learned to tolerate most any type of food, so he was not too worried about it. So she was mad about his drinking? That wasn't the hardest thing in the world to believe, but he still wondered why she hadn't stopped him earlier. She only ever needed to ask him to stay and he would, but she never said anything. He used to invite her out whenever he and the guys were heading out, especially if the others were bringing their girlfriends, but she never accepted, and so he stopped going out with them. He had managed to keep this up for over a year, always hoping that being she didn't want to go out, they would do something better together, but they didn't. After that year, he had begun going out with them every now and then, but never too frequently. As the years progressed, it became more frequent, until now when it was practically every night.

He had been about to respond, when he saw that she did not even care, she was just going to leave anyway. He thought he had her say something else, but it was too quiet for him to make out. Hopefully she was just commenting on how horrible of a person he was, he could take that better than her saying anything about wanting to leave him. It hurt him to hear her say desparaging things about him, but he had learned to accept feeling worthless, so long as he could still be with her. He rested his elbows upon his knees, and buried his face in his hands, wishing he could show the utter sorrow that he felt, but the tears had been drowned by alcohol, and they would no longer spring freely.

He headed out to the small patio off of the main room. It was not even a three by three, but it did offer some standing room outside. He glanced over the railing, watching the cars pass below him. 'A jump from here would do it, even if the ground didn't kill me, with this much traffic, I would be bound to be run over before anyone could think what happened. That would probably be best, wouldn't it? At least then Sincere would be free, and she could find someone worthy of her.' He continued looking over the railing, finding that the asphalt looked ever more inviting.
