I think it would have been nice to see Aang as an adult.

iOfficialMako I think it would have been nice to see Aang as an adult. ^ This. I really would have liked to see all of the original cast as adults. Especially Zukko and Toph. They were probably my favorite characters. The creators have a LOT of loose ends to tie up, and I really hope that they do that further into the series.

Unfortunately, he is listed as deceased in the Legend of Korra. Also, he was the fire Lord for a time, yes.

There is a comic out called The Promise. Alot of loose ends are supposed to be tied up in that, like Zuko's mother. There is also assassination attempts on Zuko's life. Just saying. biggrin

I miss the old characters. Sokka, Toph, Iroh, Aang...they made the show what it was so it'll be interesting to see who fills their shoes and if it's successful. So much has changed in the 70 years since Fire Lord Sozin was stopped. It was nice to see that there are more metalbenders! Go Toph!! I thought seeing her daughter as a strict head of police was a funny paradox to Toph herself. I like that the animation quality is much greater this time around. Can't wait to see who Amon is and how he can take bending away. The Avatar wiki says he's a chi blocker, but I don't buy it. GO BENDERS!!!

The only thing I miss is Sokka. :<
Him and Iroh. They were the greatest characters in that show.
Other than that I really like everything new, I have no complaints really.
But what I'm really loving is the setting: Republic City.

It's like this hybrid city between New York and Shanghai stuck in some anachronistic 1920's and steampunk. Steampunk and the Roarin' Twenties--asdfasdf, tow of my most favorite things.
And I was completely thrilled by the Jazz pieces they've composed for the show. : D

Sozin is the one that started the War and the Comet was named after him. Ozai is Zuko's dad and the one Aang defeated. And maybe Amon has Chi Blocking POISON.
