In the months after losing her daughter and ending her relationship with Riketz, Himawari found herself reading history book after history book. Focusing on learning about her new home world kept her from feeling as depressed and allowed her to teach the children of the island as she learned.
She found Meloria fascinating and decided to take Davi and Sindira on a field trip of sorts. Knowing the vast desert of Perria to be full of dangers Hima employed both Vexx and Igdor as bodyguards, grudgingly submitting to Igdor's request to see her breasts in return and never intending to keep it.
In addition to these two, the elf-kitsune "persuaded" Sion to come as well as a guide. (The tool of persuasion being Vexx's fist giving him a good knock on the head. He couldn't argue unconscious.) When Sion awoke they were on a train halfway to the country of Samud.

Himawari looked around as the train chugged down the tracks, a proud smirk on her face. A little bit of name dropping, a flash of her pretty smile, and she had managed to secure a private portion of the train for her menagerie.
The train reminded her of her younger years in her world, her expeditions around the world, and suddenly she thought of Wesley. With Riketz and Mishaela busy, Anton struggling to care for Nina, and Bewsh still learning to fit in, it was Mr. Addams who had drawn the short straw to watch Jr. He wasn't pleased.
Sindira sat in the floor, setting up a board game Hima had picked up in South Bravise before boarding the train in hopes it would keep Davi and Sindira amused. For a moment the drow's pearl eyes cleared to reveal their original reddish-orange color only to cloud once more. She was intent on practicing the spell she was taught to let her see since Mishaela could do nothing for her magically wounded eyes.

Vexx's arms were crossed, his brow bent into a fierce scowl.
"The Melorian's going to be pretty pissed when he wakes up." He didn't like the look the conductor gave him when he climbed onboard with the others. No doubt he was more suspicious when they carried an unconscious member of the Adventure Fleet aboard with them.

Davi sat on the floor happily waiting for Sindira to finish setting up the game. She had never played a board game before and was curious as to how they would work...though it didn't completely take her mind of their destination.
"I wonder if there are fruits in the sandy place. Hima-mom, does the desert have fruit too? ...Bet they're all dry though..."

Sion slowly opened his eyes." Oh..... god...... What the ******** happened...." He held his pounding head and started to focus. Everything was still quite blurry.
Igdor grinned and sat his things down." Miss Hima, This couch is QUITE nice. Igdor could Make himself at home in such Luxury." He then sat and looked out the window.

"Well not usually, sweetie, but don't worry. I'm always prepared," Hima told her with a smirk and slipped a mango from a belt pouch and tossed it to Davi.
Sindira finished the set up and the train lurched, knocking the pieces everywhere. With a frustrated sigh she looked in Davi's direction, " Keckey al Oc!" She ignored the look Hima gave her at the curse, mostly because she couldn't see it.
"Do you know any games that won't spill, Davi? Perhaps we could tell stories to pass the time?"
Hima chuckled at Vexx's remark and plopped on his lap, "Don't worry, little Vexxy-wexxy. Momma Hima will protect you." She faced Igdor, "Pretty nice, eh- Oh. Uh. I was hoping he'd be out one more day..."

Vexx grumbled and pushed Hima off of his lap.
"Momma Hima can have fun explaining it to Admiral Glazunov's Major." he wrapped his tail around his lap to prevent her from climbing up again.
"He'll especially love hearing our destination."

Davi caught the fruit and happily began gnawing away, her little bat ears twitching while she listened to the happenings around her.
Raising her fruit juice covered face from her snack she glanced around the train car. "Um...Sorry Sindira, guess it'll have to be stories. Thats the only game Hima-mom brought. But...by what I'm hearing I think its gunna be too noisey soon to hear each other talking."

He shook his head back and forth and opened his eyes slowly. eerything was finally comeing into focus." Guhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... Where the.....Where the hell am I???" He tried to set up, but rope held him down... he then looked around to see Vexx." WHAT THE HELL!?!? UNTIE ME!" His eyes started to glow white and the rope started to rip. The Melorian was severely angered." VEEEEEEEEXX! I SWARE IF THIS IS YOUR FAULT I'M GONNA.... GRAAAAAAAAH!" He continued to struggled.
Igdor looked to the melorian and grinned." The Moment you See Vexx you think it his hime... Vhat if it was me that tied you??? You jump to conclusions sir." He then looked to Hima." Vell, talk to Zee man. Igdor is keeping Igdor out of zee situation..." He kept a cocky grin on and watched hima. He wanted to see how she got out of it....

"No, sugar," she sighed, though she was pleased to see Vexx a little less cranky than he was that morning. "I think I ought to-"
Sindira rushed to Sion's side, tsking like a mother and not a 12 year old. "Mr. Sion, dear, you really mustn't struggle so. It's rather unbecoming of one of your status and upbringing. Momma-Hima only did this because we need you. I need you. I have seen this. Now calm down and I shall have the titan loosen the ropes."
Hima blinked, "Uh.... What she said. Girl had some sort of vision, says lives depend on ya comin'. So... Sorry. Cupcake?"

The little werebat climbed up on Sion and sat on his stomach, tugging on the ropes. "Maybe if you promise to be really good Hima-mom will let me untie you completely, Mr. Angel sir." She smiled and pulled the half a mango that remained of the treat Himawari had given her. "I'll even share my snack with you. Its a sweet one too~"

Sion Glared at Himawari and hen looked to Sindira." .... What vision did you have that involves me, and why not tell me in person instead of helping them kidnap me young one?" He started to pull at the ropes and the bottom rope started to break. " and davi, please get off of me....." He continued to try to pull himself free.
Igdor looked hima and grinned." Himavari, may Igdor have you Music spawning device? "

"Uh, sure," she said and handed Igdor her iPod before flopping on Vexx's lap again and snuggling against his chest.
Sindira sighed, "Oh, Sion. There are some things you'll never understand and I am sorry we have approached this in the wrong manner. Maith, my bailliu, forgive me. Please, join us."

"aww...okay."
She scuttled off of Sion and piled onto Vexx with Himawari, giving her a hug and eyeing the Melorian, unsure of just how projectile those ropes were about to become.
