Here you may apply for a traveling mount. If it's in the bestiary and you can ride it, you can apply for it. There are a few exceptions however. The following mounts may only be had by the Avatar or a Master: Badgermole Flying Bison Dragon [b]Username:[/b]

xxxxxEel hounds are known to be on of the fastest creatures in the world. Queen Layna sat upon the saddle of her eel hound Tal as they sped forth across the dunes towards a battle scene where upon Earth Kingdom soldiers had fallen into a scuffle with Firebending Pirates. Almost any other creature would not have gotten her there on time to see the last soldier fall. "It's up to us buddy." She said through gritted teeth has he landed between the pair of remaining pirates.
xxxxxIn one fluid motion Layna dismounted from the eel hound, hit the ground with one foot, and jumped into a bending battle with one of the Firebendering pirates. Tal pounded towards the other, spun his backside out and wiped the man straight across his chest with his tail. Having downed the target for a moment the Eel Hound turned to help it's master. As the firebender dodged a boulder tossed by the Earth Queen Tal charged forth. He opened his maw snatched the bender by the collar of his shirt, shook him around a bit, and tossed him away. "Good Boy, Tal!" Layna praised sliding beside the eel hound to scratch his chin. The pirate who had been originally downed by Tal's tail whip was back on his feet and charging towards them drawing his sword. The eel hound jutted his powerful leg back striking the man once more in the chest. He was sent flying back and landed hard on the ground.

Mount Applying for: Flying Bison
RPC Description: One of Palka's dearest friends in the Eastern Air Temple is Najah, the Flying Bison. Najah is six human years old, thus he is still a youngling who has just mastered the concept of flying. Instead of having white fur with brown markings Najah's fur color is reversed, which is not necessarily rare in Flying Bison, but considered uncommon. Meeting around the age of eight, Palka a Najah have become great companions for one another. However, Najah hasnt been trained to have riders on his back while flying, but is still capable of land travel. But hopefully, with the help of the grandmaster of the Eastern Air Temple, Palka can learn to pilot his Flying Bison, Najah.
((So what im trying to say is Najah can't fly ppl around yet. Only after RP training with the grandmaster will Najah be able to do this. But until then he's just a large pet that I can use for inside the temple stuffs.))

I'm assuming you're an airbender, if so, this is the deal I've been handing out with airbenders.
As all airbenders get a bison while they're young, an airbender may apply for their bison at any rank. Unlike master, the bison is still a baby and cannot fly anyone places. Basically, it's just a pet. After you get master rank, it'll have fully grown and will be usable as a normal mount.
If you're an airbender, then it's approved.

RP Sample [if it can fight]:The platypus looked around and sniffed the air. She roared with all her might, the birds in the valley flew away. She attacked the other bear, their tails clashed. The other platypus-bear drew blood as the female cried in pain. The male towered over the poor female, until, the female rose up and used her huge tail to smash the the male into a rock. The male whimpered and walked away.

They were gaining on him. He didn't even understand why. All he did was was break into their hideout, free the innocent captives, and leave after sabotaging their war machine. He reached the clearing where a saddled eel-hound lay, waiting for him. Jakk! He yelled, getting the beasts attention. He let out a shrill whistle and Jakk stood up and ran to his aid. Michael grabbed onto the side of the saddle and pulled himself onto the beast. Jakk lashed out with his tail on the oncoming group knocking a couple back as he sped off across the river and out of sight of the bandits.
(((I know the eel-hounds can bite and whatnot. However they aren't really as combat oriented as other mounts so i felt there wasn't much need to make it long and elaborate. I plan on taming this in my test if I'm allowed it.))) I'm sorry to harass you but I kinda am holding off on my post because this would be the easiest time to tame this thing.

A forest ring, like an arena, very fitting to the situation. Two creatures of great power stand off, starring each other down, a sense of wild in their eyes. On one side, the ancient guardian of the forest, the ruler, a wolfbear, a mighty beast with the bulk of a bear and the head, tail, and speed of the great wolf. It is a wise creature, following the deer trails to find food and a master of stalking despite its bulk. Razor fangs and claws could rip the average human to shreds.
However, this is not the average human. Yun Sung, waterbender and another guardian of the Earth Kingdom forests, lived and watched the habits of the wolfbears throughout his youth. Their hunting styles, way of life. They were dangerous in a pack, one using itself as the main fighter, while another would come from behind to tackle the prey. Another would bite down on the neck, ripping the jugular and a third ripping the muscles in the back legs. This is where Yun had the advantage. This was a former alpha male, most likely cast out after losing a fight to another male. The two stand ready, Yun already bending water from his waterskin.
The wolf attacks, rushing at Yun. Holding the water like a bullfighter's cape, he sidesteps, the animal rushing past. It makes a quick turn around and rushing at Yun. He whips the water out, hitting the wolf in the rear and making him turn in confusion. Yun starts to run, the bear following. Finally, he reaches a stream. Perfect. The bear rushes through, only to be met with Yun, looking down from a pillar of water. The wolfbear stops, the one thing fearful to them is something that is bigger. It stops and shakes, kneeling down. Yun slowly lowers down and walks over to it, pulling out what looks like meat. He hands it to the animal, who graciously takes it, calming down and bonding with Yun.
