Life as the witch: Life? It's perfect ... I have a thrall of men to do my every bidding. The cook and clean for me, and keep my home looking beautiful, some are even my toys and are here purely for pleasure. No one bothers me .. unless I want them to. And if anyone tries to do anything without my permission ... well, lets just say they meet a most unfortunate ending.

Life before the witch: Alex grew up in a small town in the country, and always wished that she could travel to the ocean and study the animals there. She worked hard in school, and didn't hang out with the other kids. She wasn't very social and that was how she got into one of the best schools for marine biology. She signed up early for the real life study, and got on a ship. The only problem was it was all guys. She really hadn't had too much time alone with guys, and soon discovered that after all the flirting was done they weren't the most fun to be around. The moment the ship started sinking she knew that was the end of it, but fate had another hand to play in her life.

Life before the witch:
I grew up in a regular family, my parents were regular hard working people. They earned little money and my brothers and I grew up living off of only a meal a day on the good days. We'd go hungry the rest of the time. Being the youngest of six meant there was even less for me and we often fought for the food we did get. Not to say my parents were eating any better then us. We were all pulled from school at a very young age and put to work. In my day even the youngest of children could work...I worked in a silk factory from the day I turned five. Things got better when I went to work. I learned of other hobbies people had. I started to draw. At first they were just silly little things, but over time they developed into something more.
As he grew older he left his parents home to live on his own. He traveled, a nomad and a salesman. He was an artist for hire. A painter. So months he'd have more money then he knew how to spend, and other months he went hungry and couldn't afford to rent a room. Many nights were spent under the stars, in the cold with an empty stomach. He was lonely in this world, but found companionship in another man. A traveler like himself, but different somehow. His companion grew on him and soon they were no longer just companions, it was his first ever relationship and in that time it was completely unheard of.
It was his companions idea to get onto the ship that they'd boarded. The man wanted to explore a new land, a place different from the country side and rolling hills. He wanted to go to America. He followed him on board and agreed to the voyage. He hadn't wanted to be alone again. It was on one of those nights that the ship crashed. Many died though both he and his companion survived to wake on an island like no other.

Age: nineteen
Life before the witch: Cain was just a simple college student; he spent his young life saving up so that he could go to a college in Rome. He finally made enough money to get him into the collage and to take a ship over. He was the happiest person in the world, going to college in Rome and being able to study in the great libraries there. It would be everything he ever wanted. But well traveling on the ship, something happen. Cain not sure what happen or how it happen but one minute he was on the ship the next he was waking up on a beach. There he met the most beautiful women he ever seen, and feel in love with here. He didn't question anything she said or why there were so many men on the island, he just knew he had to stay here.
