Ahoy, lassies and laddies! I am Zekil Blakhardt, self-proclaimed Pirate of the Pokemon Forums. I reside in Southern California, and a somewhat amateur battler. I own a few Gyms in the following leagues: Elemental League, Classic League, Relic League, and Alabaster League. Currently going through a testing process for another thread (which I may fail). Other than that, I am an avid Mario Kart racer, Fire Emblem player, and a Beyblade collector. Any more questions? Just parley!

Welcome to the Gambit Order, Zekil!!! It's nice to have you join us. We have been in need of more battlers, so it's nice to see another competitive battler around here. And the fact that you have a few Gyms is a testament to that, huh??? I'm also curious if you'd try out for a Gym spot, here!!!
Otherwise, I also do Mario Kart and Fire Emblem. A few similarities, hm???
Well, anyhow, once again, welcome to the Order, Zekil

Guess so, but I am only able to run Dark and Ghost gyms as of now. Perhaps I will try to be a Gym Leader here...we'll see. I'm not really the best battler out there. Glad to be here, Tetshinji.

That's alright, Zekil. We don't have either Dark or Ghost Gyms as of current, so it doesn't really matter!!! Plus, the fact that you may not be the best battler doesn't really matter. Our League is all sorts of levels, plus we plan on making it Tiered at some point, so it's actually not that bad. Here's a direct link to the Gym ApplicationsI hope to see you around, then~

Wonderful!!! I hope to see you in the League, then. Also, here's a heads up, I don't expect you to beat RisingDarkness9. He's in a quite high tier in battling, and I'm one of the only people in the Guild who's beat him. So if you lose to him, it's not a problem; winning isn't the point of the test.
Otherwise, how are you???

I don't expect to win, either. After all, I just got beat 5-0 yesterday in the PokeLounge. I'll probably end up in one of the low tiers, since it's only been a few months since I returned to the battling scene. I'm alright, I suppose. Just gettin' around, procrastinating on everything. Yourself?

Hey, practice makes perfect. My friend got good enough to beat some of the higher tier members in the Guild from being a Gym Leader. I've got faith in you, man
Aha, procrastination is a thing I know much too well. I'm just going around Gaia. It's awfully quiet on my end, right now

Yes, practice does make perfect, but there's also the luck factor. Also, is there an item clause active in the gyms? If so, my team is gonna need a few item changes; nothing too major. Quite. I hope not to forget to do my homework tonight. Gotta love college. It's fairly quiet here, too.

Ah, yeah, the luck factor. I took the title "Hax King" from our previous Hax King, Freezing_taco13. Gotta love that luck factor. Though, sometimes the luck factor is actually just another part in the actual battling. Like Cloyster's moves Icicle Spear and Rock Blast, hits five times each with the ability, and that's five chances for a critical. And no, even though we're based off of Smogon's Clauses, the one we do not abide by is the Item Clause. Thanks for asking, because a lot of us find that as a problem in our teams.
Right, gotta love college. I hear it's pretty darn busy up there.

Now this I have to know: What qualifies as being a "Hax Battler"? Awesome! My team can freely run amok! It is...but it's worse when it's a short quarter since everything is rushed.

Hax are your basic, Infatuation, Status Effects [Paralysis, Freeze, Poison, Burn, Sleep], Confusion, and et cetera. If you use consecutive moves, such as Cloyster's Icicle Spear or Rock Blast, you can utilize critical hits as hax moves. A Hax Battler is someone who, not really abuses them, but uses them very well. Sometimes I go for hax, but I don't normally. I prefer my normal battling style, but I had to give it a shot against Freezing_taco13
Yeah, basically. If there's anything you want to know about the Guild, there are Introduction threads in just about every SubForum that contain just about all the information that you need for that SubForum
What do you mean by "a short quarter???"

I happen to know someone who battles like that in Triples. My goodness...I got lucky I beat her. Aye, I got that from the Intro thread. Zehahahahaha~ Well, my quarter is only 11 weeks, so I have that much time to learn everything in a subject. Night classes that last 4 hours a piece (one is 5).

Oh man, Triple and Rotation battles are the death of me. Can't battle with them for my life. I was lucky to beat our old Fire Gym Leader, Rojo Espada, who used Triples. Those were definitely some of the worst battles I've ever had
Only 11 weeks??? That really sounds like a pain to have to deal with

I can handle Triples...sort of. I had a staller and two Earthquake users to the side. Had staller use Protect and let 'em go crazy~ Rotation battle...I cannot do well in those. It is. My quarter just started, too.
