I don't know whether this has been posted already or not, but why is it that whenever a major character I love dies *cough aerith cough* , or I really like *cough Reks cough* no one decides to just use a pheonix down on them?
It seems like a waste... crying

Because it ruins the impact of the situation. How scarring would it have been for Cloud if Aerith had actually survived?
