Motonari: *having already been headed to see the sunset in his usual spot, something inside of him had decided to take a left from his usual right, and he had ended up on the opposite side of the beach, rather surprised at what he had been missing. Oranges and fiery reds played off the boards of a large shipwreck, stopping Motonari in his tracks* ...? *tail lifted with rare curiosity, the kitsune carefully padded toward the wreck, his mind feeling out the shapes and colours, almost making him ignore his sunset altogether. Placing a careful paw against one of the splintered planks, he pulled his claws across the wood, quite interested in the prospect of a new medium to create his art on*

Motochika: -has been sitting in the crow's nest of his ship, just watching the waves break against the rocks during the sunset. Few sights other than that shoreline were as beautiful in his eyes, but his attention was drawn elsewhere when the crab atop his head clicked her claws- Hm? What is it, Ruby? -looks down to where her pincer pointed, and he noticed what appeared to be a gold-colored fox checking out his ship. With a chuckle the spotted kitsune jumped down, not minding the height as he landed on the support branch of the mast, and then took a second leap to land loudly on the deck with a thud and clatter from his hardened forelegs- Oi, what're you doing to my ship? If you're trying to sell the boards, they aren't worth anything. Saltwater's damaged 'em. -upon closer inspection he realized the unexpected visitor was not gold, but actually silver-colored. His fur reflected the light in a way that was actually quite pretty, but the pirate of course did not mention that fact to the stranger-

Motonari: *leaping backward, quite alarmed at the other male's sudden presence--why hadn't he sensed him?--Motonari barred his teeth in a defensive growl, his tail poised high in pride* Noisy ingrate! *growls to himself before he actually stopped to 'look' at the other kitsune, the mental image he was receiving from the strange aura making his insides twist with unease. Clearly, a portion of the male was overwhelmingly dark. His front half? No... Just part. But it was odd... The rest of his body radiated with a sense of adventure and just plain goodness. It almost sickened Mori, but the images of the ocean that composed the taller male drew him in like the tide.* .... I was not aware that anyone inhabited this area. I will be taking my leave. *turns to leave, a little nervous about having his back to a stranger with such a mixed aura*

Motochika: -mutters under his breath to his crustacean friend- Not very friendly, I see... -tail swishes with the slightest interest as he looks down at the other male, wondering how he could possibly navigate with eyes so ridiculously covered- Now you've got me curious... How did you even make it out here with your eyes blindfolded? Have you got some kind of radar like a bat? -when Motonari turns away he jumps down onto the sand, following after the petite male. From his height on the boat he had known the other kitsune would be small, but now that they were on even ground he almost wanted to re-verify the male's gender. The giveaway had been his voice, but still...- Or do you even have eyes at all? -The possibility of the pirate being a nuisance, or his company unwanted never even crossed his mind. Someone had touched his boat without even an apology, so the requirement for such a crime was to be chatted up- Oh, or maybe your nose and ears are just really good? Were you born blind, or did you get into a fight and somebody got you in the face?

Motonari: *had fully intended on ignoring the insulting comment and just let it go and keep walking, but no. This damn kitsune wasn't going to make things easy for him... And it appeared as if he weren't going to make things any less annoying, either. Whirling on the large fox, he snarled, his long claws digging into the sand in irritation* You insolent fool. Why do you insist on asking me such boorish questions!? I never asked for you to follow me, you cretin! So go back to your garbage heap of a home, before you find out what it's like to be blinded by the one wearing a blindfold! *huffs, finding the male completely insufferable* ... Besides, you don't see me asking questions about your obscurities, you devil spawn. *motions to the stranger's front legs with his tail, sneering before he turned for the second time, hopefully having stunned the other in place with his cruel words*

Motochika: -ears flick with a little surprise when he actually gets a reaction out of the other male, although it wasn't exactly the response he had wanted to hear. He just waited for the explosion of anger to stop when he caught the insult at the very end. The crab atop his head made a sound similar to a hiss but he just shrugged his shoulders, no longer bothered by the name he had effectively been called since his youth- Are you done? And I didn't even know you could see 'em. -dips his clawed feet into the sand, not minding the slight numbness of the foreign limbs attached to his body- If you really want to call me something, I'm the Demon of the Seas, Motochika. But I don't see it as an insult, 'cause I think these legs are pretty useful. You can be mad all you want, but all I really did was ask a harmless question. You didn't give me an answer, so I had to come up with my own solutions. -wonders why a fox that couldn't be much younger than him was so sensitive- That boat isn't a dump completely. I'm going to fix it up and turn it into a real ship any pirate would be proud of. You'll see.

Motonari: *'Are you done?' Is that really what the male had just said to him? Mind slightly blank with anger, Motonari simply stood and listened to the other, absolutely furious that he had felt the need to actually respond to anything. The silver fox's words normally would have stunned anyone into silence, or even better, had them running for the hills! What was with this strange 'Demon of the Seas'?* .... Are you stupid? What gives you the idea that I still want to hear that voice come from your yappy little mouth? *is growing tired of having to turn around and attempt to shut the male up, but he turned again, facing him for the third time today. Three times too many, if you asked the fox.* .... You actually plan on fixing that ship? By yourself? ... Man made that ship, Sea Demon. What use would you have for it? Do you wish to degrade yourself to a dog who sticks its head out in the breeze? That's awful. *doesn't understand why he actually commented on the boat-- He should have just run by now, but by the sense of things, that Motochika would have chased after him and pestered him until his death*

Motochika: I didn't imagine that you wanted me to talk to you, but here we are, still got this conversation going... -chuckles, really wondering why the icy fox was so uptight. He couldn't really be that upset over the comment on his appearance. The source of his anger must have been more deeply rooted than that- I'm a treasure hunter, and I've got to have a place to stash all my finds. Most stay away from the ship since they think it's haunted, but occasionally kits will come by and dare each other to climb onto the deck. I just get a kick out of scaring them away... -tail swishes as he slows to a stop, the waves brushing over his feet and dampening them slightly. He turned to look at the sky, the broad expanse of darkness only broken by stars and the last few rays of sunlight from the sunset- I introduced myself. Might I actually be able to learn your name if we really are going to part ways here? -had followed the fox a good distance down the beach, but even he was considerate for his apparent enemies at times-

Motonari: *irked by the fact that the male had a point, he sighed, his tail lowering a bit as he stared at the diving sun, his heart aching for the fact that it had been the only sunset he had not watched from beginning to end since he was a kit. Rather than angering him even further, it actually seemed to calm him-- Unfortunately in the saddening way. This creature had actually made him miss that dying ball of flame. No one had ever done that to him before, and he felt a growing sense of loneliness. Was the sun trying to tell him something? No. That would be absolutely ridiculous. Having not payed attention to anything that Motochika had said, he simply sat down in the sand, a good distance away from the tide as he turned his head toward the moon* ... You made me miss my sunset, Demon of the Seas. ...You are the first soul to ever do such a wretched thing, which makes me think that you are trying to ruin my life even further. So. In order to punish you for your awful crime against me, the son of a god, I will be staying in your wretched ship for as long as I wish. You said that others don't really come near, right? ... Perfect. *walks quietly toward the broken hull of the ship, completely ignoring the question about his name*

Motochika: W-Wait, what? -doesn't care so much about the son of a god part; the petite fox was attempting to invade his home. Again. -runs ahead of the smaller fox and turns to stand in front of him, blocking entry into the ship- Now just wait a minute. All I do is bother you for a few minutes and interrupt some kind of daily ritual you have, and now you want to be my roommate? That's too crazy, even for me. -Ruby snaps her pincers as if to say she disapproved as well of the idea. He began listing reasons why Motonari shouldn't stay with him in attempt to drive him away- I have a lot of stuff so it's really crowded in there, and I feed Ruby here fish, so it smells! A pristine fox like you wouldn't want to stink of fish guts or anything like that... I think you should just go run off to your mom and dad or something, and leave me be.

Motonari: *flicks his tail in irritation as he just stepped around the other, climbing into the ship as he sneered at the vicious little crab that sat atop the larger male, his nose high in the air as he stepped inside* ... You shouldn't have ruined my night, then. Think about that the next time you try to bother someone, you dolt. *huffs as he makes his way to the staircase, climbing it carefully onto the deck before he made his way to the back of the ship, following the male's scent all the way to the captian's quarters where he must've slept* We'll see just how awful it really is. *before entering the room, however, he peered over the side of the boat at the horrified kitsune and sneered, a small growl in the back of his throat* Oh, and, I don't have a mother or a father. You'd be smart to remember that. *returns to pushing his way into the captian's quarters through the door that was stuck slightly ajar, though it was quite open enough for Motonari. Motochika had been lying. It didn't smell so awful in the man-made room, though it did smell excessively of saltwater, it wasn't a bad scent altogether. And the rest... Wait. What /was/ this stuff?* Wh... Huh? *carefully touches the mound of treasure with his nose, the gold coins cold to the touch and he pulled back like he had been shocked. Deeming it quite safe, he wondered if it was something to sleep on, and never being a shy one, he climbed carefully to the top, the coins and jewels scattering around his paws, but he managed to curl up on top of the precious treasure, having absolutely no idea what it was*

Motochika: -frowns as Motonari darts past him, and he quickly followed after him once his lie had been seen through. He lowered his nose to the wooden floor so that his crab could find herself a cozy place to sleep for the night, then pushes his way inside the captain's quarters- You really shouldn't touch things that don't belong to you. Even if you don't have parents, common sense should tell you that... -ignores the creaking of the stairs as he climbs up onto the deck- What are you doing? Get off my treasure, that isn't the bed! ...Not that I'm letting you sleep in my bed anyway. -grumbles as he walks over to the pile of silk sheets he slept in and lays down, figuring that he couldn't push Motonari away now that he'd actually come inside. Just one night of dealing with this and then he'd apologize and hopefully not be bothered again- There's some straw over there you can push around to make a place to sleep if you want. It gets pretty cold up here at night from the ocean air.

Motonari: I can touch whatever I damn well please, thank you. And since you're not using whatever this is, I can lay on it if I want... *noticed that the other was actually laying on something much softer, and he grumbled, sliding down from the treasure, causing a cascade of coins to fall at his paws, looking much like a deity of gold and wealth himself* ... Move. I require those sheets. *stares down at Motochika, his gaze hard, even though the male's eyes remained unseen* You may lay on whatever that is you call your treasure. Or lay somewhere else. I don't care. Just go somewhere else. *had absolutely no problem kicking someone out of their own home, but he sighed in irritation when the strange male didn't move right away. There was something about the large kitsune that evoked a strange sense of need inside of him, and he suddenly found himself wanting everything that the sea kitsune wanted... It seemed that he had it made in this ship. That must've been why. Definitely not the strange aura or comforting scent of the ocean.* Move, or I will move you myself, Demon of the Seas. *refused to use the kitsune's name as he bent his head to sniff at the sheets, recognizing them as quite the soft material, just a little more slippery than his own sashes.*

Motochika: -is at a loss of words for a moment when Motonari slips off of the pile of gold and silver coins, pearls and precious gemstones falling at his paws. Sure the moon-colored fox was making a mess, but the pirate had to admit the stowaway did look good on that temporary throne- ...You aren't even going to clean that up, are you? -isn't unnerved by the strange staring contest, but it did make him seriously think the blindfolded fox did have eyes, somewhere. Surprisingly, he found himself curious about what color they were- Just sleep on the straw, it's not that bad. You're hardly bigger than a kit. I really ought to just grab you by the scruff and throw you overboard into the water, 'cause there's no way you can get me out of my bed... You have no idea how long it took me to get these out of the temple where I found them; I'm the only one that deserves to sleep on them.

Motonari: No bigger than a-- Why, I swear, I'll have to kill you in your sleep, you fool. Why don't you just move. I'm a lot bigger than I look, you know. *growls, dipping his head down to attempt to tug the sheets out from beneath Motochika, but the male was actually too heavy for him to move in this manner, but instead of giving up, he simply huffed and moved over to the straw, tail raised with pride* Son of a god having to sleep on straw... This is ridiculous... If you got them out of a temple, don't you think the royalty should be sleeping on it, you... You pirate? I don't even know why I haven't just offed you yet... *hadn't meant to mutter the last part aloud, but he curled up in the straw, grumbling a little as he pulled his amazingly fluffy tail up and under his chin. Though he was Itztla's son, he much preferred the sunlight and the heat over the cold... And Motochika hadn't been kidding about it getting cold. A small shiver shot down the petite male's spine and he tucked himself closer to his tail, ready to sleep, but he knew he would not get enough rest tonight because of that awful breeze... Though his pride would get in the way of him ever dreaming about getting warmer*
