The main launch bay for ships and ship maintenance. The suits also launch from here after leaving their prep room.

The door to the elevator opened and the sounds of the hangar rushed in and filled it with its noise. The local speakers were giving out general information alerts as crews and pilots were moving about the deck. Chione stepped out of the doors and into the hustle and bustle going on around her. The doors shut behind her as she headed down a busy walkway, personnel were moving much more frantic as the tone from those present seemed to increase. She side stepped several rolling carts as they were pushed by to load last things up onto a nearby plane. Her baby was resting in the fourteenth bay and they hopefully had everything ready. She headed into the changing room to get her suit on and finish her personal preparations before flight.

Upon entering the changing room she walked over to her flight locker and popped it open with a quick one handed movement as her other hand was already starting to undo her belt. She quickly got out of her clothes and slipped on her flight suit, the material fighting with her as she tugged it on and over herself. She pulled the zipper up as the suit finally closed tight against her, she flexed her gloves to make sure they were nice and snug before she grabbed her helmet and shut her locker behind her. With her things together she tucked her helmet into the nook of her arm as she walked back out and into the hangar. Several of the ground crew stopped and made a sign to show her they were saying hello and she raised her hand and waved it back to them "good to see you boys are on the job today" he called out to them as they jeered her slightly and laughed back. She made her way past many of the waiting ships, pilots chatting along with crew or some sitting in silence within their cockpits as they waited for the green light to launch. So many had their own pre-flight rituals, she had her own and once she got to her plane she would get about doing it but for now she acknowledged those about her as she neared her resting baby.

She ran her hand along the belly of the ship as she walked along its side, she hummed a small tune as she went. Her path took her to the front of the nose as she stepped up on a small stool and tapped the front of the nose "lets hope for some good action" she whispered to the plane as she smirked and walked back around toward the ladder leading up to the cockpit. Several whistles called out from nearby as she climbed up and her head turned around to look at the two men standing nearby "get a good look, its the only time you will get the chance" she called out in a snarky tone as she climbed into the cockpit. She lowered herself into the seat as she got comfortable and ran her hand along the flight control stick, her fingers wrapping around it and getting a nice feel for it before she sat back and took a deep breath. Her mind relaxing before the adrenaline would need to kick in as the green lights would start.

Setsuna found herself pausing after a moment or two, her gaze sliding around the hanger bay. So... very shortly she would make her first decent down to that planet in which Legacy had spoken to her about. Go about seeing if she could discover whatever it was that the system had picked up on. Once she had done that, she would be able to return home and get back to helping those who needed it within the medical bay or that of the hanger itself. Though, she seemed more welcomed in the medical bay than the actual hanger with the mechanics. Probably because she knew more than the males. And something about a woman knowing more than a male when it came to machines just irritated them. Granted she would hang around on some days and just do it for the hell of it as it was. She enjoyed a good laugh every now and then, this was no different within her own eyes.

But for now she would await the others to arrive in the hanger bay before she took her leave. After all if they did run into something during her so called trip down, it would be better to have some sort of partner at her side. She was mostly mechanic and repair for the suits and their occupants. Nothing more than that really. Sure she knew combat, but the systems of the Angel wasn't exactly made for such abuse and hard core fights... Or was it? Her hand raised merely peering at the material that covered her hand. She supposed at this point of time it really didn't matter what she thought about her suit, as long as she did her job. And damn it she would do her job correctly and rightfully.

So... from what she recalled, there was something a signal of sorts, thought it was faint it was upon the southern most part of the planet. While the other in the north western area of the planet seemed to hold buildings of sorts. Turning she brought her arm around, pushing down on the right forearm of the suit, watching as a holigraphic screen slowly popped up before her to display the information she had been told. It would be a realitively simple mission over all. Just explore and see what they could find, perhaps survivors if those domed like buildings meant anything. Another good sign was the lack of Amn'reth, which meant there wouldn't be much of an issue, unless the creatures of the planet attacked.

As her arm fell the screen merely seemed to vanish all together, as the suit once more pressed forward making its way towards the launch zone. Setsuna faintly listend to the sound of heels clicking against the hard flooring of the hanger. Her gaze moving to peer at an Advocator nestled away in the corner of the hanger. A large tank over all, and had proven at one point of time to be rather useful. Figuring the Legacy had dropped that very one to earth, to protect her shuttle. And by god had the legacy control done a grand job of keeping them away. The Advocator still held its battle scars from that time. Fully functioning all the same but the scars could still be seen. For a moment she merely allowed herself to give the massive tank a slight bow of respect, perhaps even a thank you before she continued for the launch pad. There she merely allowed herself to hook into the catapult system on the floor, her hands punching in the code in a small floating control plannel that drifted over to her shortly after her so called lock in. She would not however launch until the others had arrived.

An automated voice rang out across the room and on any speaker devices linked to the ships system.

"All personnel to launch ready, I repeat, All personnel to launch ready. We are now reaching orbit around the planet.

All Saint's and mission elements please standby for launch and scout units begin launch procedures."

The legacy's voice was in it usual tone.

Chione had been sitting in her cockpit as she relaxed and played the launch sequence in her head again and again. The feel of the thrust pushing her back for a second before the gravity stabilizers would kick in and she wouldn't feel the G's from flight. She roused herself from her thoughts when she heard the voice of the Legacy ring out, the speech was one she had heard before other missions and just the sound of it was enough to get her heart beating faster. She stretched out in her cockpit and glanced over at the launch ramp, the scout ships that had sortied earlier were heading out to do a check of the planet again ahead of the main group. It couldn't hurt to be on the safe side, if the chance that running into Amn'reth without warning could be avoided.

When she watched the first of the scouts beginning their launch she noticed a particular individual getting ready on the catapult. It was the Saint known as Angel. She hadn't been around when the other crew in the hangar had met her on the occasions she would appear without the armor in the hangar. It still amazed her how those that had been chosen got to use those special suits and fight back against the Amn'reth. At time she wished she could have gotten a try at it but alas she wasn't one of those chosen for the honor. Sometimes she did think about what it would be like to use one of those suits and fly around dishing out payback to the Amn'reth. She had seen them fighting on other worlds and seen the power and abilities of both those that piloted them and the suits themselves. She still loved her planes but on occasion she wished to try out just one of those suits and see what it felt like to fly without the cockpit.

She pulled herself out of her thoughts once more, her mind often needing that mental slap to get it back on track as she thought for a moment on something different. A mischievous smile appearing on her lips as she leaned up and out of her cockpit so she could get a clear line to the waiting Saint. She had quite the playful look on her face as she motioned toward the waiting suit "hey there, Miss.....Angel" she called out not knowing her proper name. Some of the crew that were finishing up preparations looked up a bit shocked that Chi had just called out to a Saint and not exactly in the most polite way either. They turned to look at Setsuna to see what would happen with this very odd situation. Chione not one to properly do things just continued on "so what is it like to fly with those wings?" she asked as she smiled. It wasn't quite appropriate to be chatting but they weren't launching yet and she needed to shake of some of her pre-flight adrenaline she had built up.

Setsuna head merely inclined slightly at the sound of the legacy AI once more speaking out to her, or rather the saint suits in general. But... she was already in the destination in which she was supposed to be in. Her suits feet already hooked into the catapult launch system, the booster like packs upon her back glittering and glowing warmly as they seemed to prepare for the coming launch. Over all everything was running smoothly within that of the Angel. Thus she wasn't too concerned about it at this period of time, though she was still wary over the idea of there being something else with the suits in which Rowen had not told her. But... for now she supposed it really didn't matter. Though if it didn't matter why did her thoughts keep bringing up the mere idea of it. Perhaps she was unstable in some sort of degree? Impossible, she had far to grand of a mind for something like that.

However her attention was soon shifting at the sound of a voice, her head turning to look over at a woman. Her visor chimming softly as it seemed to lock onto the face of the woman, before pulling up information on that woman. Though the means in which she had spoken seemed to stir something within her. A mild pang of annoyance perhaps? Asking about those wings of hers. Curiousity was fine over the matter, but the means in which she had gone about asking it had such an odd effect on Setsuna. So she wished to know what it was like to fly with her wings? Setsuna merely watched her for a period of time for the most part remaining silent as she watched the other woman, as if in a sense having a stare down with the inpolite woman. But the silence was soon broken by a rather loud hum of sorts.

Shortly after the case of the hum was soon revealed. Long multi-colored transparent wings slowly dropping down out of the pack and unfurling behind the angel, spreading out to their full twelve feet length behind the suit. The tips curling slightly as they flapped, sending those small transparent feathers about the launch bay. In a sense they would be required for launch so why not pull them out now. The wings slowly tucked themselves along the saints back.
"I would attempt to explain it to you, but... no words can explain the sensation to a mere scout pilot." She voiced, suit altering her voice to make it well less known who she was for protection purposes. Sure it was a slightly rude comment, but the manner in which the other woman had spoken had stirred it from her.

'The Angel' had turned to look at her but said nothing in response to her question, her brow furrowing a bit at the lack of acknowledgement or answer. She kept her eyes locked on the suit as it remained silent in words but suddenly a noise could be heard coming from it as the wings suddenly deployed. The transparent wings were spread out and the wing span was long, she could only gaze as they retracted to sit against the suits back. The feathers were floating around, their ghostly look made her move her eyes as she caught sight of some of them floating in her vision. It was while she was admiring the feathers that she heard the comment made by Setsuna, the voice coming out a strange distortion in it. Her head snapped back toward the voice as her eyes went sharp, she almost couldn't believe the words that had reached her ears. 'Was this b***h picking a fight with me?' she thought to herself as the words had been taken at what they could been seen at face value.

Her face contorted and her eyebrow rose as she glared at the suit, the rage in her eye at the sheer gall of the person wearing the suit easily visible as several of the other pilots and crew seemed to disperse or hide to avoid getting involved in it. Chione was standing up in her cockpit already, he body leaning out the side of it as she leaned over and had to clear hear chest before she got stuck with the odd movements she was making "LOOK HERE YOU STUCK UP B****, I'm not some stupid scout pilot!! and you best remember that!" she yelled quite clear for any others to hear. Her arm extended out and a finger pointing directly at Setsuna. Her temper had always gotten her in trouble and in a way her competitive spirit did encourage it often enough. This person had just challenged her by saying she was stupid and only a scout pilot, she was an ace and she would prove it in one way or another.

Her hand slammed down on the rim of the cockpit as she sharpened her look at her "I will show you, who is smart enough or not to know anything and I will get you to answer the question!" he howled at her before she finally took a breath, her chest heaving at the amount of air she had expended in her anger. She dropped back as she fell into the seat, her head could still see The Angel and she made sure her eye contact wasn't broken yet. In her hands her helmet was being rolled around as she fidgeted with it in her rage, 'how could one of those tasked with helping everyone be such a .....' she spun the helmet around and looked at the visor for a moment, seeing herself in the reflection. She was in a bad mood now and anything she found down on the planet that wasn't human was gonna pay for it.

A long cat-like purr had echoed in the hanger, with a metal covered tail waving bout. Coming out from the prep room, still with her helmet under her right arm. The twin Hammer Gating cannons attached to the wings of her Saint Suit. Humming to herself coming into the hanger causally, before stumbling.... into one of those monuments where her fellow saint suit use Setsuna was acting up. It just put a giant sweet drop on her forehead........ Ohhh~! The people she had to work with sometimes just made her eyes twitch. Putting her helmet on from the shadows , pressing a button on the back of it to make it air tight.

She just came out with her hands behind her back, minding her own business as if not knowing what just happened. Walking up to Setsuna, the sound of the Metal boots ringing as they went. " You know Setsuna-chan, You should be more nice at times before missions Nyaa~ the cat like women had said bluntly just earlier trying not know about what just happened mere seconds ago. Her voice was still the same, she didn't find the need too change it. " Its always best to remain clam before them, Ya' Know Nyaa. Setsuna merely stood there barely paying any real attention to the ranting woman. In a sense she had grown bored with the confrontation... well what one could call a confrontation. If the woman wished to rant on about the matter than she was free to do so. Setsuna knew her place within the society of the Legacy, and merely inforced it to some degree. In a sense the way the woman had gone about speaking to her was in her own head rather rude, hence the rude retort back. If one didn't deserve her respect then she wasn't going to give it to them. This woman seemed to be one of those cases. And apparently still a bit to young to know any better on how to hold her tongue like a proper lady. Or perhaps the woman in the fighter plane was actually a male. That had her gaze sliding back over her shoulder in curiousity. She supposed it was possible but she didn't feel like questioning the gender of the woman.

Instead her attention shifted back over to that of the woman whom spoke up. Solar Flare pilot had finally arrived at the launch pad. Better late than never she supposed.
"Senao, I give respect when it is deserved you know that. Just like you know very well I do not start something unless it is provoked by another being. Needless to say the woman had done both. Thus I see no wrong actions within my current actions." She voiced lightly turning her gaze back to the pannel she had been fiddling with before, once more using it to look over various places on the planet. In a sense searching for the ideal place to use as a possible landing. In a sense the woman didn't seem to mind the fact that the other was apparently lecturing her on the proper edicut on interacting with the residents of the Legacy.

Over all she could understand in some situations, but... when the respect in a sense wasn't given to her, she wasn't about to return it to the being that had disrespected her. Finally seeming content with the general layout of the surface, she pushed away the computer, allowing it to turn and flutter off towards one of the walls of the launch room. The wings of the Angel seemed to shift lightly as Sestuna leaned down her hands moving to in a sense check over the connection she had with the catapult. She fiddled with it a few moments before apparently deeming it good enough and standing up once more.

The first scouts had already launched when the speakers came to life once more. The legacy keeping track of everything that was being launched and even the moments of those outside of the ship.

"Another signal has been detected in the northern region, search and rescue elements please launch immediately"
she announced.

Several images appeared on those that were involved, it included the Saint's suits and pilots visual screens. It shows the northern facility and the pulse of the distress signal could be seen on it for a few minutes before it seemed to stop again.

After having her bit of an argument with the semi snarky pilot of The Angel and not getting much resolution from it she had taken a few breaths to calm down. Her anger was still their or more precisely her irritation at what had transpired. She still held her helmet in her hands when she heard the alert ring out across the bay, at the same time her display in the cockpit lit up and the map of the planet below them appeared with a glowing pulsing dot on it in the northern region of the planet. It was coming from where they had sighted the facility in that region. 'So I guess that's where we need to head out too' she thought to herself as she slipped the helmet over her head, pulling it down snugly to form the seal and make sure that she had oxygen flowing in it. With that little check out of the way she gripped her controls, the natural feel of having those sticks in her hands made a smile appear on her face behind the visor. They were as familiar as her own hands, sure they changed with each machine she piloted but they were all essentially the same.

Several ships had already begun taxiing from the alert and as soon as she got the okay from her crew she started to power up her engines. Her wingmen in the nearby planes could be seen powering up their machines as well. She hadn't flown with the for too long since she was only helping out with the escort of the scouts and normally she was with her unit in the main attack squadrons. But this mission wasn't an assault so she had been assigned to fly escort and her usual wingmen were handling their own taste of leading squadrons of the less experienced flyers. She settled into her seat as her plane entered the launch strip, the blast wall raising to protect others from the engines as she powered them up to full. She launched a few seconds after the green light gave her the go, he body being pulled back for a moment before gravity was activated and she was no long feeling the push of launch. She could turn it off and she would once she was flying as she preferred to feel the pull of the G's as she flew. Not everyone did and for some it was better that they didn't or they would pass out. But Chione was one for enjoying that rush and pull but on take off, it might be to much for even her to enjoy.

She was out in space and looking down at the large planet below, its bulk covering most of the area visible. Her wingmen quickly joined up with her in formation as she opened a comm's link with them. Her voice was calm as she spoke even if she was a little excited 'couldn't let them know that' she thought as she spoke "alright this should be an easy run, stay in formation and don't pull any hero stuff, that's my job" she said leaving them to decide if the last part was a joke for them to enjoy or was she being serious about it. In her mind she was serious, if something happened she didn't want them flying around trying to be ace's. She always expected a fight even if there wasn't one, call it paranoia or whatever but she didn't want to ever be caught off guard again when it came to the Amn'reth, not after what happened last time.

She started to fly down toward the planet as the atmosphere surrounding it began to glow around her ship. The others were following her in along with several squadrons of other fighters some with the large radar setup for detailed information gathering. She switched too the other radio channel as she set up for communication with the whole fleet and even the Saint's. If they ran into anything, they would need to report back quick on what was down there.

Musashi paid witness to the interaction between one of the regular pilots and two of his fellow Saints. Not that he wanted to, it just happened in the same locale. He shook his head in disgust, these were the type of people he had to rely on as comrades in arms against the Amn'reth. Musashi wasn't even sure how many of these survivors were capable of fighting a war. If he were the commanding officer he would have chewed out all parties involved. Friction between fellow combatants was bad, one needs to trust those around him with his life. However, Musashi couldn't bring himself to trust his fellows.

Shaking the dark thoughts from his mind, Musashi jumped down from the supply crates that he had used as a resting spot. He gave a little stretch and readjusted his flight suit, before marching towards his saint. He looked up at it in quiet fascination, the Saints were truly a marvelous piece of technology. A wry grin turned a corner of his mouth, the perfect machine to deliver Mankind's counterattack to the Amn'reth. Musashi quickly climbed inside and prepped the Leviathan for launch.

Setsuna shifted slightly merely allowing her gaze to move over that of the information that was still being displayed for her. The next she was merely crouching down, a hum of the catapult becoming louder as it begun to wind itself up. A split second later the suit was being thrown forward and out of an opening in the side of the Legacy. However the wings did not fully deploy, merely allowing the pull of the gravity to pull her towards the planet at a higher rate of speed. Yes it was something all to simple in her mind, a thing she had done over and over again. Even if this was nothing more than a mere Scouting mission at least she could find some means of enjoyment in it all. The exploration of a planet, of the unknown always proved to hold information.

Her gaze skimmed over the information her visor displayed before her watching each little snippet as it popped up. Systems were holding well against entering the atmosphere. Once the warning light had clicked off for entering, her head tilted ever so slightly plummeting closer and closer to the earth, only to have the wings of the Saint snap open at the last few thousands feet. Slowing her decent swiftly but in a manner that would not harm her being any. At least she was here on the planet now. All that was left was for this so called scouting to begin. Her gaze shifted wings flapping once behind her before slowly tucking themselves neatly behind her being. Her gaze lingering on the sky for a period of time as if curious to see where the others would be landing.

After a period of few moment she turned her gaze away from the sky and began to press forward moving through the thick lush spances of green. It wasn't long before she found herself flinching slightly as the gravity suddenly became heavier. A warning flickering across her screen a few seconds later to warn her of such a thing. So... the senser on the gravity flunctuations was a bit off. Straightening up slightly she allowed the suit to recalibrate itself for this new area before she began to move, pressing through it as if it was normal gravity. Her arm bent before her body, a small halogram displayed up above her left forearm of a map. The one apparently guiding her to her destination.

Musashi watched as the Angel launched from the hangar, the Saint suits never ceased to draw his admiration for their construction and abilities. Not letting himself get distracted, he maneuvered himself and prepared for his deployment. Apparently, the saints were to participate in the scouting as well. Making a few adjustments to his controls, Musashi catapulted out into the vacuum of space.

Musashi wasn't originally a pilot or a spaceman, but he managed to cope with the experience and developed a liking for it. He trailed behind the Angel enjoying the view of the planet, the potential for action led to a surge of adrenaline pumping through his body. Making more adjustments, Musashi glanced over the information for the planet and began making his plan of action as well as several contingency plans.

Musashi lost sight of the Angel as the Leviathan entered the planets atmosphere. His sensors were able to keep track as he positioned the suit to land about a quarter mile west of the Angels location. It was tactically smarter not to stay to close to his comrade. Though his lack of trust in her abilities kept him closer to her than he would normally like to be, just in case.

Making needed adjustments to his systems, because of gravitational flucuations, Musashi began moving forward carefully through the foliage that engulfed him. Pulling up his map, Musashi double checked his destination. Always cautious and never letting his guard down, Musashi pressed forward, stopping occasionally to recheck his environment as well as the location of his fellow Saint. Musashi's instincts were going off, something didn't quite feel right. Even though his sensors stated otherwise, Musashi just couldn't shake the feeling of impending danger.
