The wild x domestic hybrid isn't a rat to scoff at and will most certainly throw his weight around if needed, but he is relatively harmless to those he holds dear. He loves his sister and is growing to love his colony, but he won't stand for being mocked, especially about his mixed lineage. It made life rough amongst the wild rats, though the tame ones haven't been too awful about it thus far. He's generally a large, complacent creature. He's not the sort that bullies others, simply cos he doesn't usually need to. He's a large, overgrown teddy-bear of sorts when feeling comfortable and safe. History: Brute and Wisky were born in the wild, away from a colony. Their father managed to escape the life of the two-legged, furless giants and mated with their mother. They had no colony and were eventually driven out of their territory and killed. It was when the siblings were just old enough to be on their own and they were absorbed into the main wild colony. In the flooding, however, Brute was washed away and presumed dead. Stages: [ Adult]

She's known for doting on pups and has raised the young of other rats, in the past. She's gentle and not at all prone to standing up for herself, but her reputation as a solid, useful nosobo is a good one, one that she relies on heavily to keep her out of danger within the colony. She's certainly not brave enough to leave it. History: Hello was born within the shop and has lived there her entire, short life. It's amazing, given her genial nature, that she wasn't bought before the flood, but so was her luck. She'd follow Bitey to the ends of the earth, due to the fact that she knows and trusts the female, as well as that she was the daughter of Nezumi. Stages: [ Adult]

She's not terrible, either, she'd not hurt little pups, but you don't want to cross her. She's pushy, despite her small size, and quick to bite and scratch should things not go her way. She's been put in her place on a few occasions, but the lesson doesn't seem to stick. She's hard headed, that is for certain. She's somewhat of a judgmental creature and reserves her love and companionship for the colony she belongs to. History: That One has always been a trouble maker and it's her sour temper that led her to live much of her life within the pet shop. Quick to bite and too squirmy to be held, she had been left there. It was by luck that she and her cage-mates managed to survive the flooding. Stages: [ Adult]

Name: Fish Age: Adult Colony: Bew's Rank: --- Colorist: Roserain Parents: --- Siblings: --- Mate: --- Offspring: --- Personality: Fish was quick to leave the small animals area after finding himself suddenly free. He's a smart fellow, quick as a whip at times, and situated himself near the aquariums, where he would have plenty of access to water. He was fine being without a colony, though he still values companionship. He enjoys mixing paints from food gathered in the small animals area and has been named after the fish he watches with fascination (though they have been dying off, unfortunately). He even sports dyes mimicking his favorite ones.He's a helpful, friendly bloke, though he certainly isn't too keen on the scary, wild rats. History: Fish was born shortly before the flooding and managed to escape just beforehand, due to his small size and inquisitive nature. He only just managed to get out of the way of the floods and quickly set off towards the aquariums, afterwards. Stages: [ Adult]

She's known for being friendly and, despite her large size, for being incredibly gentle. She has a knowing about her, as though possessed by knowledge unusual for a rat, but she's not showy and she doesn't take advantage of her situation as an usoothe in regards to others. She's of the helpful sort, though far from timid. She has a knack for speaking to and understanding various other species of animals in the store and has a fondness for birds, especially. She's the sort to take life one step at a time. History: Elebit has spent most of her young life in the store, bar a week or so in which she had been purchased, then returned after her owner had second thoughts. She's only roughly a young adult and it was good fate and fortune that found her loose after the flooding. She quickly took to another rat, Dying for a Cuppa, when wandering in the isles. His inquisitive nature and his ability to read human words absolutely fascinates her. Stages: [ Adult]

He's polite and though he doesn't particularly possess size and strength, he's quick on his paws and highly intelligent. He's a plotter and a survivor. He's certainly not afraid to throw around his usoothe status, should the situation call for it, and he likes for there to be an air of mystery about him. All around, though, he is a pleasant creature with a fondness for the ladies and a love for raising pups, though he has yet to father his own. He has a knack for reading human words, though his vocabulary isn't very extensive. His most valued trait, however, is his seemingly knowing ability as to where they will find water. History: Frisbee was not born in the store, unlike many of the other rats. He actually came from a breeder and though in his prime, much of his early life was spent in the households of humans. He was a beloved family pet, but after an accident claimed his human, he was donated to the store. It was a huge shock to the proper rat, being amongst so many uncouth creatures. He has strong disdain for the wild rats, thinking them dirty, unkept creatures. He only just survived the flooding, managing to open his cage door in the process. He wears a little button collar, an item his former owner made for him, and was only in the shop a couple of days before the flood. Stages: [ Adult]

He's been named for his task, which is basically being a distraction. He's good at it, too, as he hasn't yet lost his life. He's a large, pushy male, but he does what he does for the good of the colony and to help his fellow scouts. He doesn't have much in the way of humor, seemingly deadpan unless his anger is brought on by those around him. He is somewhat plodding and slow when not working, but fast as all get out when lives are on the line. History: Catnip was born in a litter that had been donated to the store and has his mother's strength. He was too large to escape his own cage and had no idea how to open it. He had to be freed by another rat and owes his life to said rat. Stages: [ Adult]
