History: Iliana was born somewhere in the Underworld, of that, at least, she is sure. She never met her parents, though, and was informed that they were dead. She was raised by a Seer, who was adamant that Iliana keep up her training – she still has the scars from when she didn’t do what she was told. The Seer informed her in her younger years that she would one day possess great power, but she dismissed this as the woman getting old. For years, she was pent up in the Seer’s room, training day and night and barely allowed to rest. Many years later, she was allowed to venture out, guided by the Seer. She still remembered that night – she’d seen other demons, demons who were none too pleased with the way things were running under the Source’s rule. Apparently, they’d assumed their talk to be private, and immediately attacked her and the Seer on sight, not taking into account her age – by then, she only looked around eight. Terrified, she reacted the way she’d been taught, but it was not enough. The Seer was killed. Her rage at this act empowered her, and she managed to kill those demons. She returned to the Seer’s room, feeling empty inside. From then on, everything in that accursed room seemed to remind her of the Seer, and so she left, escaping up to the surface world. There, she was taken into an orphanage and was fostered by a large, somewhat wealthy family. It was a few years before she was at breaking point – the weak humans, unable to tolerate pain, unable to tolerate anything that didn’t immediately give them some form of comfort, were infuriating. It was only partly by accident that she killed them all – she’d hoped to save the little girl, but she’d gotten in her way, and so had to be disposed of. Then, she slipped off into the night, vanishing once again, only now she’d returned to the Underworld. She has remained there until now, working only to be stronger. She’d taken up the Seer’s old room, getting rid of anything that reminded her too much of the woman. Upon disturbance, she would take pleasure in disposing of the intruder, before returning to poring over books and scrolls, which told her of the magical ‘Charmed Ones’. Intrigued by this, Iliana has made it her goal to encounter these beings – either to kill or simply to harvest their powers, she does not yet know. She has an absurd amount of scrolls or pieces of literature in the room, most left over from the Seer, but some she had ‘acquired’ herself. They have much of the information that’s in the Source’s Grimoire, but she does not care for most of the incantations and spells in there. Also, there are a few charms and amulets left over from the Seer, which she occasionally uses.

- As her abilities are rather diverse, it took her a great many years to fully be able to understand and control them, and a lot of her experiments with her abilities have resulted in near-death experiences.
- Possesses a power-sucking athame that she keeps on her person, but rarely uses this, because she finds her impatience outweighs her desire for the powers of others.
