Okay, so after spending the last 6 months brickwalling with vintage I've finally concocted the first draft of a deck I am thinking to play this year. Hopeing for some opinions and feedback. I've only got main deck so far.

I had been under the assumption that mana drain has been underwhelming in vintage for the time being.

Iit seems to come and go in cycles. One month pierce and co will be stronger then next month drain is back. I personally like drain better as it is not conditional and gets out from under workshops a lot nicer. snares can stop thorns and resitance but do nothing to 3sphere (worst of the lost) and worse still lodestones. Spell pierce is useless against panthers and lodestones and whatever other jank the shop decks want to pack.

It's also useless against the current aggro trend that seems to be around. Misstep and snare are a lot better at dealing with this and drain more so.

Pierce can stop the sphere effects in workshop, and it seems better against the blue decks. I've never been a fan of snare, though I see it's uses.

Am I blind or are your only real tinker targets Time/Key and maybe Top

Thinking about it more, No Lotus Cobra? Fully abuse the free mana you can get, since you wanna play Mana Drain anyway might as well make your main engine make mana too.

not blind, those are the only real targets. I am considering cage in side or swapping preordain for cage
