It had been a while since Princess had seen any gryphon. She was watching over an egg, but it was Naomi's day to take care of it while she went and searched for better grounds or who else might be out there. She had to know if there were any adult gryphons that could give her advice. The purple and yellow gryphon started to climb the mountain wondering if any were up there.

Aria looked out over the rocks and sparse plant life sleepily. She had spent the better part of the early morning moving around after a scary male had found her and tried to follow her. She looked around one more time for the male before deciding it was safe enough to let herself rest. She layed her head on her paws and watched the world around her slowly fade as she drifted off into sleep. A nap wouldn't hurt, I might need my energy later. she thought to herself right before she slipped completely into sleep.

Princess continued climbing all the way up until she saw a dark brown gryphon. She looked different and had never seen anything like her. For a moment she started heading towards her for a friendly greeting, but realized she was napping. Remembering when Naomi woke her from her slumber it wasn't the best thing to do. She looked around the area for moment. Now what did most gryphons like? She didn't want to seem like a creeper gryphon so she thought she could at least give her something to show a friendly hello for when she woke up.
Princess went back down the mountain for a while to find some fresh fruit and berries. She wasn't sure if that's what this gryphon would eat, but hopefully she wouldn't mind too much. Eventually after grabbing as much as she could she decided to fly up this time since it was quicker. Once she got back to the top she quietly dropped the food off near the gryphon before walking away a bit to give her her space. Princess out of boredom just decided to stack some rocks. She stared at them as she moved them around. Unfortunately she tried to stack too many and as a result, they all tumbled down with a crash. Some of them struck the side with bigger rocks coming down.
Great! Now she did it! One fell and pinned her wing to the ground. She wanted to scream, but bit her tongue. Princess just sat there helpless wondering what would happen once this gryphon woke up. Would she attack her, would she possibly help her, or would she ignore her completely? If she was ignored, maybe Naomi would come and help. Then again that might of been a slim chance to.

Aria woke with a start and immediately took to the air. She looked down to where the noise had come from and gasped as she saw a young Griff who's wing was pinned. She circled around as she fought a battle inside herself as to help the young one or not. Her mind screamed at her to run, that others only brought pain. But her heart throbbed at the sight. She was a female and it was only natural that she should want to help the young one. Slowly her heart won and she landed a few yards away. She blinked at the sight, it looked painful, she couldn't see how the little one wasn't crying out in pain.
"Are... Are you ok?" Her voice cracked from not being used in many moons. She almost jumped at the sound of it. When did my voice sound like that? she thought to herself. Now that she thought about it she had not talked since she was much younger, before she was captured and tortured...

Princess watched the gryphon. "I guess I am...it hurts, but I probably deserved that. I was only trying to see what else was out in this world since I haven't socialized that much. I brought you some..." She looked over to the area where she was sleeping at only to find the food ruined by the rocks. "food..." she said sadly before hanging her face. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean for this to be such a rude greeting. I just noticed you sleeping as I was passing by and was thinking of making another friend or getting to know someone who probably knows more about gryphons and the area than I do."

Aria moved closer and looked at the rocks pinning the young one's wing down. "Just hold still, and please don't take off when I get the rocks off, you might just give me a heart attack yet." She started to nudge the rocks off, making sure they fell well away from the young Griff. After some time she got the heaver rocks off and sighed. "See if you can pull your wing out little one, but be careful. The rocks probably damaged some of the important flight feathers and bones."

Princess watched as the gryphon moved some rocks. "Alright...I don't think I could fly away anyways even if a demonic creature was attacking me." Once the bigger rocks were removed she tried pulling her wing out. It came out slowly then with one big pull came out at once. A couple of her feathers were gone and some bones were shattered. "Eh heh heh...I guess that's to be expected." She looked down at the ground for a moment. "Um...thank you...I hope you don't hate me too much for causing this. My name is Princess, or at least that's what the first gryphon I met called me..."

Aria almost laughed. "You're apologizing when you're the one who is hurt? Just stay put, living on your own in the mountains can help teach you a bit about surviving." She walked over to an obscure trail. "I'm serious, don't move that wing or you're going to make it worse." She slipped down into a crack in the rocks where the faint sound of water could be heard. After a few minutes of following the trail she came to a sort of mini wonderland where a few trees and many plants grew in the seemingly barren landscape. She gathered up some branches, vines (she shivered as she touched them), and a few different plants. Bundling them together she made her way back to the young one.
"I'm Aria." she said as she set her supplies down. She picked up a bundle of sweet smelling herbs and set them in front of the other. "Eat these, they will dull the pain and help to speed up healing. I'll warn you now, they smell sweet but they are bitter. But you need to eat them all or when I splint your wing you might pass out from the pain. Or worse, you might try and jerk away and do more damage."

Princess listened to what this female said. "I will." She was actually in a calm mood for once since at least she wasn't going to be eaten and at least this gryphon wasn't furious with her for causing that. She waited patiently for the female to return while looking around before looking back to where the gryphon had disappeared to. When she got back Princess looked at the berries. "They definitely do smell sweet." She lightly giggled thinking about how they could be bitter, but nonetheless she ate them right up. She chewed and swallowed but scrunched her face together. "Yep...you were right. Whatever you need to do I'll let you do it since I caused the rock slide to begin with by accident."

"Accidents happen..." She sat near the young one and watched the sun. After around half an hour she stood back up. "Okay that should be long enough to have the herbs to do their job." She set a branch in front of her. "Hold this in your beak, if you feel too much pain just bite down on it. Now I'm going to realign the bones, that will be the most painful part." She took a deep breath and gently began to move the bones back to their proper place. Once that was accomplished she set to splinting the wing with the vines and sticks, pausing and shaking a little before picking up the vines.

Princess looked down at the ground. She bit down on the branch with her eyes pinned shut. She was getting used to the pain being there already. Besides she still felt it was her fault a bit, but for now it did not matter. A slight whimper could be heard, but she quickly stopped since she didn't want to come off as too weak. Once it was all over she let go of the branch. "Thank you miss Aria. If there's something I can do for you sometime, feel free to ask." She smiled cheerfully back at her then paused for a moment while her face returned to a blank face. "Although...I don't know if I can do too much right now. I'm still a kid, but if you need protection when I get older I could fight off demons or collect food for you or..." She ran out of things to say wondering what else she could do to pay this gryphon back for her kindness.

"You did well." Aria nodded approvingly at the little one. At the talk of protection and suppressed a laugh. "That is very kind of you to offer yourself like that, but I have no need for protection." She thought for a second. "But if you want to give me something how about you tell me your name, little one?" She was warming quickly to the young Griff, it must have been seeing her in distress... Or maybe it was the fact she had started becoming weary of being alone so long. Life without others near had almost caused her to forget that not all were bad or evil... Though she didn't think that she was ready to face another adult quite yet, definitely not a male.

Princess smiled at the complement. "Thank you Aria, my name is Princess. Truthfully I was given that name by a random gryphon that found me. I was born pretty much alone." She looked at the dark brown gryphon up and down. "Although were you one who grew up not knowing what a family was?" She didn't feel that nervous around her since she seemed to think that this gryphon might actually give her a chance and maybe she could learn more from her at least.

"No, I never have had a family that I can recall. From what I know, it's not too uncommon for Griffons to not know their heritage." She smiled sadly. "It's a shame, one can learn much from their elders but many don't have that chance. If I had my parents who knows how I would be different now, maybe I wouldn't have these scars." She looked down at the scars on her front legs and closed her eyes against the welling of pain she felt in her heart. Maybe she could teach this young one something that she herself was never prepared for, that this world had many more dangers than she had ever imagined.

Princess looked sad for a moment. She almost reached out one of her paws to touch the scars, but pulled her paw away since she didn't want the female to find her odd. "I see..." She looked down for a moment then back up to Aria. "I take it then that you had a rough and terrible past then."
