The Mushroom Kingdom, the Royal Land of Hyrule, Dream Land -- Possessed by a mysterious darkness which has swept the land. Heroes of time & lore, Mario, Link, and Kirby, among others, have vanished. Luckily, the darkness was brought their worlds together, causing alliances, formed from the multiverse, to fight this plague as our heroes disappear.
Basically, Nintendo Universe Roleplay is a lot like Kingdom Hearts, but the Disney worlds are replaced with Nintendo worlds (and no Final Fantasy characters). You play as a hero (or a villain) who comes from one of the Nintendo universes, whose mission is to find out what this darkness is and how to stop it - you can be a Hylian swordsman, a Galactic Federation bounty hunter, or a fat plumber, the choice is up to you.
The roleplay is under construction, but as of now, everyone should be allowed entrance, as long as they are literate and amiable. One thing I'm deciding is if this game should be run by Game Masters or by the players themselves.

Hope you don't mind me posting here, but I think the RPCs should be our Miis. Even if it's not a Mii of us IRL, just one we made for fun, we should use them. It would also cut back on images just found on google, and give the person a bit more depth with their RPC creation. (Maybe I'm just sore about only a scarce few games supporting Miis... cat_neutral ) We could look up costumes for the RPCs, and just post the face of our Miis, if we had/ wanted to. Also, if we used them, we wouldn't need to think up names, just use the ones our Miis already have.
Anyway, it's not my call... However, that's what I'm gonna do when this RP opens.

If they were a race that you could see often in, like, Mario, or something, they would have some semblance of a back-story, and they would be less bland, but seeing as how they are barely even used, its no wonder people dislike them.. And typing you're character's details would add a bit more 'care' to them, compared to just going to google and settling for some random guy's art. And if you have us describe the character, I may change my race from Mii to something else. (Mii = the simplest thing in the world. Something else = more detailed and room for customization.) I may have my character travel with a Mii, though... Actually, now that I think about it, I think I'll use the Link sprite I edited for my character. (In my Signature.)

Not only are miis bland, they sound like a pile retarded crap in Mario Kart Wii (though this is a bit off topic)... I like Waddle Dees though
