This is kind of stupid, but I wanted to make sure this was a good idea.
so my sister and her husband are in their 30s, and they both like Jane Austen stuff and period films, but they aren't really romantic people. they are also very utilitarian and don't really get things they don't need or collect junk. They also have two kids now.
well, my sister's birthday is coming up, so I got her and her husband goose quill pen with powdered ink so they can write each other cheesey Jane Austin letters, write down prayers, quotes, grocery lists.... I have a goose quill pen so I was going to write to them on some parchment and fold the letter like they used to in Jane Austen's time.
is that too childish of a gift for their age?
I don't want them to get something they'd eventually throw away, but I think they are pretty cool.
