You can find all sorts of trinkets and odd goods in the square. Stones, scarves, berries, incense, just to name a few items you can find here. You may also find tutors for your pokemon. The Musing City tutors specialize in "cute-level" contest type moves(ex: Attract, Charm...). Moves your pokemon normally can't learn on its own can be taught by the move tutors' training and expertise. It's quicker than trying it for yourself to teach them.

"A pokemon battle," Lydia's face became equally as intense. "And this time, I'm gonna prove I'm the best!" The two went in unison. "Are you ready Voltz?" Pika! The electric pokemon took its place in the cleared edge, stepping in front of its trainer.
"An electric pokemon, huh?" Dune grinned. "You're in for it now! Go, Latios!" He flung out his pokeball.
"You caught a latios!?" Lydia said in complete shock. Pika!? But as the light of the pokeball cleared to reveal who Latios was, Trapinch!, the two just about fell over. "That's... not a latios..."
"Hahaha!" Dune laughed. "Didn't expect that, did ya? You can't be a very good trainer if you're gonna be thrown off by a nick-name."
"Well, ya, when you call out a latios and it's a trapinch instead!"
"Pretty clever, right?" Dune grinned.
"Actually, ya," Lydia laughed, stopping as she realized she lost focus. "Gr! But that's not enough to win! Voltz, open with thundershock attack!" The pikachu charged up, sending out an electric attack.
"You dope," Dune murmured as he watched Voltz's attack hit. Trap.
Pika!? "It didn't work? What happened?"
"Latios here is a ground type, so electric attacks won't work on it." Dune grinned, watching Lydia and her pokemon become uneasy. "Now it's my turn! Latios, sand attack!"

 Location: ~ Cycling Road (Alcove) → Musing City - Town Square ~ Sara had got to town with Venonat just the other day she was now walking the town square wondering where to go next. Her destination was Climate City however an unlikely meeting would make her journey take an unexpected turn. "Venonat what do you think should we hit the road soon?" she asked her travel companion. "Venonat." (Look over there.) Venonat spoke scurrying over to a battle. "That's a Pikachu and it looks like it's not doing so well against that other pokemon..." Sara muttered as she followed after her bug pokemon. Pulling out her pokedex she pointed it at the Trapinch. "Trapinch the ant pit pokemon. It makes a conical pit in desert sand and lies in wait at the bottom for prey to come tumbling down." The device spoke. "Cool must be a ground type pokemon then." she said as she watched the battle. Team:  Venonat (M) - Lv. 10

Lydia Cross "Voltz! Try a quick attack!" Lydia commanded. Voltz found it hard to see after sand attack--everything looked blurry to the pokemon, but it charged on ahead.
"Latios! Counter with bite!" The trapinch opened its mouth wide, catching the electric type and flinging it back. "No use sand tomb!" Dune called out convinced of his victory.
Sand tomb began to swallow up Voltz's little body, and struggling only made it worse. "Voltz get out of there!" Lydia called in a panic. But her pokemon was locked in place. 'I have to think fast or this battle is over!' She sweated. "Voltz, try and break out by using thundershock on yourself!" The pikachu looked back in alarm. "Trust me!"
"They're giving up and trying to take themselves out," Dune mocked. "Latios, Feint... attack..." He half commanded as he got distracted by a passing cutie. A spectator! And her Venonat was just as adorable. "Wow..." He swooned from his place. Trapinch marched on with feint attack, despite its trainer's side track.
"Voltz, hurry!" The pikachu stressed more to pot power into its attack. But as feint attack hit, a blast fired both pokemon out and into the forest. "Voltz!"
"Huh? Hey! Latios! Where you going!?" Dune realized, starting to worry. Both trainers ran after, being halted by an officer Jenny.
"Stop right there! This area is off limits to everyone!" She scolded.
"But Voltz went flying into the woods!"
"Latios too! We can't just leave 'em there!"
"If you go in there, there's no guarantee that you'll ever get out. Many have tried and none were ever seen again."

Location: ~ Musing City - Town Square ~ Sara hardly expected to catch the attention of Trapinch's trainer. However she did waving back to him while being a little caught off guard. Looking at the battle both Sara and Venonat were not expecting both pokemon to go flying. "Oh no..." she muttered as she watched both trainers go for towards the forest. Sara ran off after them with Venonat following right behind. According to Officer Jenny it was off limits to go in there and for good reason you could easily get lost. "Need some help finding your pokemon?" Sara asked as she got over to them. She wasn't afraid if anything Venonat was more than capable of seeing in the dark and so long as he knew where he was going she didn't have a whole lot to worry about right? Team: Venonat (M) - Lv. 10

Lydia Cross Jenny left just shy of Sara's arrival. Her little voice caught there attention. Dune went stiff and silent, tensing up and blushing in the presents of a pretty girl. "Officer Jenny said this place was off limits," Lydia sighed with anger and depression. "But she doesn't understand. I can't just leave Voltz there alone! Voltz is my friend, and my pokemon! I'm responsible for it!" She clenched her fists.
"Y-grn--ya! She said... stuff." Dune got out with trouble. None of it made sense, and he felt embarrassed, blushing even more.
"I have to go after it!" Lydia turned back to the forest, battling the fear of being trapped inside of her skin.
Dune swallowed hard, wanting to follow but to stiff to really make a smooth transition. "W-...Wait up!" He finally screamed. "We should... you know... Together! In case stuff happens and... uh... bad stuff!" A flash came from his belt. His tododile let itself out, eager to help and dancing in excitement. "H-hey! Entei!" He jumped.
"Then let's hurry! Voltz could be in trouble!"

Location: ~ Musing City - Town Square ~ "Venonat and I will go with you guys." Sara said despite it being off limits. A pokemon in need was all it took for her to want to follow and help. After all having Venonat with them was at least one pokemon that could protect them if something went wrong and that was better than nothing. Sara could tell that the guy was a little unsure but his Totodile sure wanted to help. That was it then two pokemon for protection and three pairs of eyes looking for pokemon in danger. "I'm Sara by the way." she introduced quickly before continuing on. "We better start looking for those pokemon." she said following after Lydia and Dune. (Exit to Illusion Forest)Team: Venonat (M) - Lv. 10
