Keep in mind, the pokemon here are particularly sick and meek. They're not battle ready and still a little hand shy. Like any adoption, trainers and families are inspected to make sure that the pokemon will be cared for and not abused. Note that some pokemon may never fully recover, as they may have internal health problems or missing appendages, but most have a simple PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and are mentally fragile. However, they may be able to battle on a particularly good day if the trainer stays on top of all their health needs; all first supplies of medications, such as antibiotics and inhalers, are free with adoption. All adoption pokemon are set at level 20

 Location: ~ Magnolia Town - Town Square → Adoption Center ~ Rose and Fortune walked into the adoption center knowing that there were hurt pokemon around to be seen that were waiting for good homes. "Hello Rose," the person at the front spoke to her. Being a regular at the adoption center people knew her for the most part. Not that any of them knew she was apart of team chaos, that was something she kept from anyone else. "Hey," Rose replied walking past to visit the friendly pokemon. There were all kinds of pokemon and she was glad to see them. "Hi how is everyone doing today?" she asked them. Some pokemon shied away unsure about her while others came to visit and say hi to Fortune. Rose wasn't one to give up on a pokemon due to their shy nature. It was known that a pokemon acted that way when they were abused or abandoned by their previous trainers. "I promise I'm not going to hurt you guys." she said kneeling down to their level and holding out her hand. A small female Nidoran slowly approached her sniffing her hand before becoming a bit comfortable with Rose. "See I told you I was friendly." she told the small poison type calmly.  "Coarse, it was my idea--to start in Magnolia Town," Gavin flirted with one of the care taker girls. "If I wasn't always on the go, man, I'd make sure this place was known world wide! And I'd adopt every last one of these little guys."
"Awww, really?" She swooned, falling for it.
"My biggest regret is that I can really only adopt one at a time," Gavin sighed. "But nothig feels more fulfilling than when a pokemon finds happiness in life again."
"That's so true! How sweet!" Apparently, a rescue was better than a lilipup or a skitty! Unless it was a rescue lilipup or skitty. And the nice guy play was the best for the luminous girls in Pendant City and Magnolia Town. Nothing made more appeal than a sensitive, outdoors-ee guy
"But the biggest joy I get, is a hard case pokemon. It's a challenge, and a lot of people might just give up, but seeing confidence and happiness in a pokemon like that makes it worth it in countless ways!" Can there be anymore cheese? "The only thing that really gets me down about all this though, is that someone just tossed aside a good pokemon. Trainers who were too impatient, or careless poachers... I just wish I could make them see the quality in each and every pokemon!"
"I know, right?" The girl jumped in, excited about having someone from out of town share the same enthusiasm. "Maybe a pokemon starts off not so good when it comes to battles and stuff, but they can get better if the trainer would just be patient. And pokemon have so many hidden talents, it's like abandoning another person!"
"I agree completely!" Gavin smiled. "Last year, I adopted a three legged deerling, tiny little thing. Turned out to be one of my best gardening pokemon. I call her Hope." Lay on more cheese.
"That's soooo sweet!"
"But, you know," He "shyly" took up her hands. "If you were a pokemon, I'd... I'd choose you." Cheese explosion! "You remind me of Jirachi. Cute, Compassionate, and out of this world."
"That's so sweet of you," She smiled with pink cheeks. "But... I already have a boyfriend." PWNED! Gavin froze in place. His best lines, the whole build up, everything! And she had a boyfriend... "But, you might like my friend Agetha."
'Her name is Agetha!?' Gavin pictured up an old, sea-witch like woman to fin in the name.
"You wait right here."
"Ya... Sure... No problem..." He uttered. A while of waiting, and the rustling of the brush around him began to make him nervous. After some ten minutes of it, he couldn't take it anymore. "What's there? Come out!" A timid rhyhorn dashed up at him, charging in fright. And bam! Gavin felt a full force tackle attack. "Ow-www!" She breathed, the rhyhorn too scared to get off of him. "Hey, come on," Gavin began to nudge. "Come on buddy, get off. Please?" He tried to keep it quiet.
But, like all plans, it was interrupted by bad timing. The girl he'd been flirting with had come back with her friend. "Aww," She cooed, hearing the word "buddy" and taking it to a different interpretation. "That little guy is a really jittery one. We think its last trainer was beating it, so it attacks when it gets spooked. And it gets spooked real easily. It's nice to see you made friends with it."
Shoot! Talk about being caught between a rock pokemon and a hard place!"Uh... Ya," Gavin said, trying to follow along. "This little guy isn't a bad pokemon. He just needs some love to start trusting again. Isn't that right little buddy?" The rhyhorn remained still and flinching.
"Are you going to adopt him then?" Agatha spoke up endearingly.
Hot, hothothot, HOT! The eyes, the shape, the face, the bust! This was Agetha!? It was like fire red and leaf green! A match made for each other! "Y-ya." Gavin agreed blindly, focused on the girl. "We've gotten so close already, I can't part with him."
"That's so sweet!"
"I told you he was perfect for you! You two should make like a super rod and hook-up."
"Grace!" Agetha blushed, becoming self conscious. As impossible as it sounded, it was obvious right there: She had no idea she was hotter than a fire blast. And that only made her even more hot!

Location: ~ Magnolia Town - Adoption Center ~ Rose was pleased at the like Nidoran's bravery even though she was still a little skittish. However with the commotion out front she could understand why that changed. The little Nidoran dove behind Rose in hiding hoping the sound wouldn't get to him. Fortune looked over at the scared and shaking little pokemon and slowly approached with the intentions of making the poison type feel better. "You look after this little girl here alright Fortune." Rose told her Espeon as she patted the pokemon on the head. "You be good little one alright." she said rubbing the Nidoran's head before getting up and heading off to the front counter. The Nidoran blinked a few times before turning her attention towards Fortune who seemed more than happy to hang with the small pokemon. Rose approached the group of three with suspicion. Two girls who worked there and a guy who she recalled adopted a three legged Deerling once or so she was told. "Hey, you adopting that sweet Rhyhorn there?" she asked curiously pretty much ignoring the two girls. Really was the whole world about hooking up with others... she believed so... Gavin groaned as he tried to move the heavy pokemon off of him. The two girls he'd been flirting with had a laugh at his expense, thinking it was more endearing than it actually was. That's when a third voice came up. Looking over, she was cute. Petite and soft spoken, but distant for some reason. "This little guy?" he asked. "Of coarse! We're inseparable. Literally!"
"It's a relief," Agatha said. "We were beginning to think this little one would never get adopted."
"Rhyhorn just needs someone to be patient with it, right buddy?" The rhyhorn went quiet, slowly backing off Gavin timidly. "Who could hurt a sweetie like this guy?" He rubbed the rhyhorn's nose. The pokemon was too shy and timid to move. "Besides, it's the duty of the contests' hosts to set the path and help to show every pokemon's potential.
"You sound like Lili Donovan!"
"He sounds like the gym leaders." The girls chuckled. "We'll get the paper work. Then you and Agetha can get to know each other better." The girl winked as she embarrassed her friend.

Location: ~ Magnolia Town - Adoption Center ~ Rose nodded she smiled when Gavin said he was going to adopt the Rhyhorn. "You know you're absolutely right." she said thinking about all the pokemon hurt and alone in the world. "I have a few pokemon myself that are just like this Rhyhorn here. It was sad how many pokemon are in this situation." Rose told Gavin. She could tell that Gavin was clearly flirting which wasn't a surprise to say the least. "You know I can see what you're doing." Rose whispered to him making sure that the two girls were for sure not going to hear her. That's about the time where Fortune came to the front with the small Nidoran beside her. The small poison type hid under Fortune when she saw Gavin. "Rose… who's this?" Fortune asked telepathically. Rose looked down at Fortune as she heard the psychic pokemon's voice. "This is... well actually I don't really know who he is." she replied realizing she hadn't asked him what his name was. "So who are you exactly?" she asked curiously as she looked back over at him. Gavin sighed as the girls left, an awed look still on his face. "Hm?" He realized Rose was still there. "Oh, sorry. I keep forgetting that no one really knows me," He laughed, sitting cross-legged. "Name's Gavin Green. I'm the head of the film crew for the pokemon contests. Helped to start them you know!" He winked. "But Lili still leads the whole thing, and she wanted to start here in Magnolia Town. She gets to host, but I get to show just how amazing each pokemon is with my camera. Right there with the action. You should enter! I bet you'd be pretty good at it." His hand went to pet Rhyhorn's forehead next. It hadn't bolted just yet, but it still felt cornered in a way. "Anyone who can raise up an espeon should definitely enter. What better way to show a message about human and pokemon relations?"

Location: ~ Magnolia Town - Adoption Center ~ Rose found it interesting that Gavin was the head of the film crew for the contests in town. When he told her she should enter the pokemon contest she couldn't help but laugh at the idea. She wasn't much of a contest person mainly because she never tried. Sure Rose watched the contests all the time but she'd never thought about entering herself. "Me, enter into a contest... right I don't think so. I don't even think I'd be able to do it." Rose replied. She was a tad hard on herself when it came to her own talents. Whether she possessed them or not that is. "You have a point I'll give you that." she said before continuing. "I'm Rose Williams by the way and this here is Fortune." Rose added. "It's a pleasure to meet you Gavin." the Espeon spoke to him. Gingerly, Gianna walked into the adoption center with her Spinara, Zehrimar, resting gently on top of her long blonde hair. She was going to go say hi to the ladies that usually ran the place but stopped when she noticed that the little Rhydon was being handled by some strange greenhead. Spiiiiiiinnnn...? Now, what was she doing at the adoption center? Why, she'd been volunteering her time the past few weeks in helping the ladies out in taking care of the hurt pokemon. It's certainly not because she enjoyed the company of other humans, but because she did feel pity for the poor pokemon that had to be here all because their previous owners had been a bunch of assholes. "Hello." Her voice wasn't exactly the most welcoming of sorts towards the man and girl, but she wasn't exactly the most friendly person in the world either. Spinarak! Zehrimar peered over Gianna's shoulder to look at the two strangers, curious as to see who they were. "So, are you adopting sweet little Rhyhorn, here?"

"And its a pleasure to meet--" Gavin stopped his cheerful greeting. Where had that voice come from? His head? Maybe if he played it off, no one would notice he had started talking to himself. There was something about this girl, Rose, that made the hair on his neck begin to stand. Like one of those psycho movies where it's the cute girl who had a rough past and is just now getting revenge. The kind of character that you don't suspect until it's too late. And speaking of two! A second ominous little voice came up. Seriously! Who was more disturbed at this point? The pokemon, or the people? "Uh, ya," He said to the tiny blond. 'I really wish they'd hurry with that paper work,' He thought wearily. "I'm adopting this little guy." It was like he was being interrogated. "Sooooo..." He tried to break the awkwardness. "Did you two girls come to adopt too?"

I speaking to you telepathically no need to be alarmed." she told him before turning her attention to a young girl with a Spinark. "Hello." Rose replied being polite of course. Then Gavin asked her if she was adopting any pokemon. "No I'm not I just come here from time to time to help out." she said. "That and to see how the pokemon are making out." Rose added. Just as Rose spoke her answer the small Nidoran hiding under Fortune came over to her. "Nido..." she spoke. It was confused, why would, someone come to visit them. Rose looked down before kneeling down beside the small poison pokemon. "I would love to take you with me but you're better off staying here and waiting for someone else." she told her before petting her on the head. Iris walked into the adoption center. According to her brother, this was a place where pokemon that were sick and meek and were looking for people to care for them. Since she wasn't a full time trainer to be battle daily and was more looking for a friend, this was perfect for her. She could help a pokemon and get a new friend for herself and her pokemon. She walked around seeing the different status of pokemon. Some were still in recovering mood, some were missing either an limb or eyes or just really meek.
"So many to chose from.. Maybe I'll ask dad and mom about getting funds here... They both like pokemon so helping them would be something they would love to do.."
"Hello," A woman asked her, "Are you here to adopt a pokemon or just looking..."
"I want to adopt a pokemon..." She replied with a smile. "I heard I needed to show credentials and well I have my home address but I'm traveling at the moment but I have the place and means to support the Pokemon financially and ways for it to make friends. I really want to help a pokemon..."
You wanna help me? Iris heard a voice taking to her. It sounded like a child. Someone wants to play with me...I thought I was bad that's why I was spent away
Iris walked away as the woman was talking about the information she was giving as she went to look for the voice. It sounded so sad and it touched Iris. She kept walking until she was face to face with a Solosis. "Are you the one talking to me? How can a little one like you be bad."
"Oh this one here is a very shy one..." the woman said walking alongside Iris. She was chased from a house after she scared the parents but making their child float and fly around.. She's been scared ever since. She usually doesn't come out of hiding. I'm surprised that she's out now..
Iris looked at the floating cellular like pokemon. "I want her... She's perfect." She turned to look at the woman..."
The woman looked from Iris to the Solosis.."Hmm... You're staying for the contest aren't you...How about you go to the contest and I'll call you and then you'll have your answer. With any adoption I have to make sure that everything checks out.
Iris nodded her head. "Understandable. I'll be back soon I promise... See ya.. Bye.. Ellie.."
The woman blinked as Iris walked out, the girl didn't have the Solosis alright was nicknaming the pokemon...

[From the Contest Hall]
Iris returned to the adoption center, the woman in charge of the center called her back. It seemed that the woman had gotten what she had need to be able to adopt the Solosis she liked. She nearly skipped inside the center as she opened the door. The woman looked at her with a smile as Solosis flew up to Iris.
"That was quick... You really are serious about the Solosis A woman grinned, "Everything checked out... It's seems that Solosis will be in good hand Ms. Haruno. Thank you for taking on the care of Solosis."
Iris smiled. "Ellie..." she said proudly, "I'm naming her Ellie. It's fit her. That's what I think. Come on Ellie..."
"Wait..." the woman said, stopping from leaving just yet. "Here's her pokeball and a potion for her. I have written down some added things about her that will be helpful in helping her socialize. Please take care both of you.."
Iris nodded her head as she took the pokeball, potion and the written notes. "Thank you.. I will take great care of her. She'll be my best friend."
With a bow, Iris left out of the center with Ellie in her arms.
