Rob can delete this if he wants, but for fun... If you have a set of lyrics form a song that you personally can relate to, or that touches you every single time you hear them. If so, post them and the song(to save from copyright issues).

I guess, I should show what I mean
This is a Call By Thousand Foot Krutch ... He tells everyone a story, because he thinks his life is boring, and he fights so you won't ignore him, because that's his biggest fear, and he cries, but you'll rarely see him do it. He loves, but he's scared to use it. So he hides behind the music, 'cause he likes it that way. He knows, He's so much more than worthless, he needs to find the surface, because he's starting to get nervous.
...

The song Plagues from the Prince of Egypt makes me want to cry each time I hear it, especially this part.
Once I called you brother Once I thought the chance to make you laugh Was all I ever wanted...
[Chorus] I send the thunder from the sky I send the fire raining down
[Moses] And even now I wish that God had chose another Serving as your foe on his behalf Is the last thing that I wanted...
[Chorus] I send a hail of burning ice On ev'ry field, on ev'ry town
[Moses] This was my home All this pain and devastation How it tortures me inside All the innocent who suffer From your stubbornness and pride...
[Chorus] I send the locusts on a wind Such as the world has never seen On ev'ry leaf, on ev'ry stalk Until there's nothing left of green I send my scourge, I send my sword Thus saith the Lord!
[Moses] You who I called brother Why must you call down another blow?
[Chorus] I send my scourge, I send my sword
[Moses] Let my people go
[Moses and Chorus] Thus saith the Lord

I actually haven't found any better personal anthem since I heard this song as a teenager.
Whenever I do still hear this song, it's one that will always have me singing along by the end... More often than not I am singing out right at the beginning.
It's not one of those songs that use alpha waves and sharp/flats to give you goose bumps and "Feelings" (the kind I normally load my music folders with)... but it actually is a good summary of me.
In the Light DC Talk
I keep trying to find a life On my own, apart from you I am the king of excuses I've got one for every selfish thing I do
What's going on inside of me? I despise my own behavior This only serves to confirm my suspicions That I'm still a man in need of a savior
(chorus) I wanna be in the light As you are in the light I wanna shine like the stars in the heavens Oh, lord be my light and be my salvation Cause all I want is to be in the light All I want is to be in the light
The disease of self runs through my blood It's a cancer fatal to my soul Every attempt on my behalf has failed To bring this sickness under control
Tell me, what's going on inside of me? I despise my own behavior This only serves to confirm my suspicions That I'm still a man in need of a savior
(repeat chorus)
Honesty becomes me [there's nothing left to lose] The secrets that did run me [in your presence are defused] Pride has no position [and riches have no worth] The fame that once did cover me [has been sentenced to this earth] Has been sentenced to this earth
Tell me, what's going on inside of me? I despise my own behavior This only serves to confirm my suspicions That I'm still a man in need of a savior
(repeat chorus 2x)
[there's no other place that I want to be] [no other place that I can see] [a place to be that's just right] [someday I'm gonna be in the light] [you are in the light] [that's where I need to be] [that's right where I need to be]
