Hannah is the new girl in town. You know all the regular things, people who stare, lame school, trying to find a job and make friends at the same town, oh and everyone swearing your house is haunted. Normally Hannah would just brush that rumor off. In her mind there just is no such thing as ghosts and/or spirits. But this time something is different. At night she hears sounds and sees strange shapes when she knows she's the only one awake. She's noticed her cat sitting and staring at her for hours. And things are missing. This is just the beginning. Unknown to Hannah a ghost has taken interest in her, and wants her soul. Now Hannah has to fight not only for her life, but for every second of control over her body. Can she figure out why he wants her so badly? If she does can she find a way to make him leave her alone? Or will he bind her so closely to him that the only escape from the physical torture is to give him her life?

Hannah got home from school at 3:45 just like she did every day. When she opened the door her cat trotted to the door and meowed at her for attention. Hannah laughed and knelt to pet her pretty kitty. "Hey, baby. Glad to see you too. Did you have fun without me?" she asked knowing the cat wouldn't answer. Then Hannah stood and went to the computer room where she tossed her back pack on the floor and pushed the on button on the computer. There she sat and waited for her computer to boot up.

Hannah sighed and looked at her cat who had walked into the computer room after her and was now sitting next to the computer chain on the floor. Hannah smiled and turned the chair slowly, watching as her cat's ears twitched and her pupils dilated, preparing to jump. Once she had, the cat settled neatly onto Hannah's lap. Though for some reason the cat seemed to stair at something over Hannah's shoulder. When Hannah looked, she saw nothing. "You're weird, cat." she said with a chuckle before turning back to her computer and pulling up the internet.
