 Xavier finally decided on his own room and got the card key for it. After placing his belongings in there, though, he made his way down to the beach, Vivian and Safira constantly with him (or on him). He figured he and the girls could use a little sunshine, and today was a beautiful day for it. He took a couple beach towels with him, hoping to relax on the sand. When he reached the beach, he had already found a decent spot to set up. He set out Vivian and Safira's towel first, then his own. The three of them all lay on the towels and relaxed, Xavier pulling his hat over his face to keep the sun out of his eyes. "Too beautiful of a day not to relax out here..."

 ~~~Kevlyn Kinsley~~~ ((From Tidepools)) After Kevlyn's exciting encounter with his new friend, he decided to walked down to the beach to take a load off. He put his good rod down in the sand, along with his tackle box. Kevlyn pulled his pack off his shoulders and sat it down. He knelt down and pulled out a beach towel. He evenly laid it in the sand. Mage decided to stay close to the towel, while Kevlyn took the pokeball of his new friend out for a swim. He walked down to the water, with his pokeball in his hand. Kevlyn threw it in the air, as a flash of light unveiled the goldfish pokemon. The pokemon happily swam around. Kevlyn smiled and decided to join the goldeen.

 {from Inn} "Here. We. Go!" Gavin shouted in excitement. Mudkiiip! his pokemon called out as the waves rolled up with a tumbling roar. "Hey, Typhlosion! Gome on, we'll--huh?" He stopped in his tracks with a rented surfboard under his arm. His pack was tossed down at the far side of the sand, his shirt covering it while his flip flops held it in place. He'd already spent a good chunk of his spending money on the board alone and was hardly there an hour! But when he called for his fire pokemon and there was no response, he dropped every thought to look back and see his pal give him a cold and nervous stare. "What's wrong?" He asked, just as a waved rolled up particularly high. Typhlosion shuddered. "The ocean? Don't be such a baby!" He teased. "Look, venasuar isn't scared," He cocked his head over to his poison grass pokemon, slowly making its way up to the water. It looked as the gentle roll of the waves just barely missing its toes. That is, until another particularly large wave splashed over it, spooking the heavy pokemon into running back to where Gavin had left his bag of belongings. Typhlosion returned to its glaring at Gavin, adding in a sarcastic undertone. "Okay, fine, stay up here." Gavin gave in and took his mudkip out into the water. The mud fish pokemon riding at the nose of the board. "Surf's up!"

 Lavender was in too much of a hurry with her excitement. No sooner had she stepped onto sand, did she bring up all four of her pokeballs, "Come on out everyone!" She called as she tossed up the pokeballs to let out all her pokemon. In a flash of light, her little group appeared with a cheer. "Come on, let's go see the ocean!" She laughed giddy as she scooped up her sunkern and ran over towards the waves, the rest of her group following close behind. It just looked so warm and pretty, the way it glittered in the hot sunlight. Splash! A wave rolled over her feet and high over her ankles. "Ah! It's cold!" she laughed, retreating back. She found some place high enough from the water's tricky waves, and set down her blanket to sit on while she took off her shoes and dress to show the tankini under it. She'd never seen the ocean more than five minutes! It was beautiful! And it just looked like so much fun to play in. "Come on, let's go back and play before mister Azrael shows up!" She ran off with her pokemon, sunkern in one arm as she started a splash fight in the shallow water.
But something had distracted her in all the fun. Was that... Gavin? He was really trying to get his fire pokemon to go surfing with him? He was kind of odd, was't he? (Pot called the kettle black). But she had to admit that it was funny seeing his typhlosion stare him down like it should be obvious why it didn't want to go in the water, and more when his giant venasuar was spooked by the waves. She spotted a couple more students, some she'd never met before; and then she saw Kevlyn and his magnamite, "Kevlyn! Over here!" She called, trying to grab his attention.

Azrael walked to the best, wearing the shirt unbuttoned and sunglasses, he walked to the group of his student his way in the distance. To enjoy the water, he brought out Nagi, Flora and Viper to walk alongside him. The weather was just right for his Water and Grass Pokemon. The sunlight hitting Flora and Viper as Nagi was just itching to jump into the water and have a swim. Azrael notice a few of the looks he was getting. He brushed it off as it was a reminder of how good looking he was...as if he didn't needed the remainder.
"My students." he said as he got closer to them. "I see you're having without me... Such a cruel thing to do to your teacher..." He was a little over dramatic but it was in all good fun as Nagi and Viper rolled their eyes.

Lavender stopped her splashing and waving around when she heard a familiar and enchanting voice call out. She turned around to see her teacher, dazzling and dramatic, and slapped off the dumb look from her face to put back on a smile. "Mister Azrael! You're late!" She pretended to scold, throwing the drama act back at him. In the end though, she couldn't keep a poker face, and stayed smiling. 'If I can get good enough at contest battles, I can do the same in my battles class; so I wont have to practice that much! And I can find ways of winning without having to fight too! I can just imagine it! A pacifist pokemon champion! Top coordinator! Something!' She began to daydream for a moment. It didn't bother her how her instructor was dressed; they were at the beach on a hot day having fun! It was no different than him seeing her in her swimsuit. They were just regular people like the rest of the lot on the beach. Why should it make a difference? "Oh, and your Liligant and Serperior are here too! Is it for the practice rounds, mister Azrael?" She gleed up like a kid. "This'll be so much fun, training by the ocean! Until today, I never saw the ocean up close or played in it. It's wonderful!" She couldn't help admitting that to explain herself in her over ecstatic enthusiasm. "Eevee and I have been working really hard together so that it can evolve into a leafeon. I can't believe I didn't know it could change into a grass type! Eevee are really cool aren't they?" She looked down at her soggy pokemon, wagging its tail up at her.

{Enter from Plaza} And now arrived Angelica! Not the least bit dramatic or anything of the sort. She stepped toward the waves of the beach, judging the distance of each wave as she moved closer, until she was sure she was far enough away from the incoming waves to not get her shoes wet. That's right, she was probably one of the few - if not the only person - that wasn't wearing a swim suit. And then she stared, with the Pichu at her side, out at the ocean.

Azrael looked at Viper and Flora, nudging his head at the group. Flora and Viper looked at the group and nodded their head. Azrael turned back to the girls and guys. "Viper and Flora said that if you want to practice with you can. But if you wanna some variety I have other pokemon that I can use. I'm sure Nagi would do it as well."
He looked at the ocean. It was a beauty to see but he wasn't as excited as Lavender was. He had been to Undella Town and Bay plenty of time before so the water wasn't something new to him.
"So how do you want to practice. Doubles or singles?"

"Doubles or singles?" Lavender repeated, completely oblivious about the two kinds of contest battles. In the Verdenturf contest hall, the trainers only ever used one pokemon. Actually, now that she thought of it, she wasn't sure what dressing up had to do with contests either; she just assumed it was to get the class into the mood. "What are those?" Yes, it was obvious that she really didn't have a clue; written all over her blank expression.
Then something else caught her sights: Who was that girl over in the back? She hadn't seen her around the school before. She was in a different class maybe? "Mister Azrael, is that one of the girls who goes to our school?" She asked. Maybe he'd asked her to join them. It didn't bother her if he had, she was more curious than anything else. Not to get off topic.

 LYDIA CROSS  Panting from the run, Lydia fell back to sit down and rest. "We barely got away," She said dramatically. Her axew mimicked her to the letter. "I didn't think we'd make it out alive." Axew ew! It took her a while to catch her breath, and from there she watched all the people on the beach, wondering around and having fun; all in their swim suits. Swim... It hit her then and there, "Ah! No! I forgot everything in my bag in our room!" She groaned, hanging her head low while axew looked confused, laughing at her. "Oh, ha ha, very funny!" She snapped. With a sigh, she watched everyone else on the beach. Scanning around and found a few familiar faces. Gavin was there surfing; must be nice knowing how to surf. But then... "Huh? What's mister Azrael doing here?" She squinted her eyes, focusing in. It looked like he was talking to Lavender. But was it really okay to do that when she was dressed like that and he looked like that too? She stopped, blushing as she caught herself checking out her teacher and shaking her head to try throwing out that she'd even looked. 'No! What am I doing! He's my teacher! He's way older than me! I shouldn't even see him when he's dressed that way!" Axew ax ew! Her pokemon wondered down. "Huh? M-Misfit! Come back here!" She chased after it.

"Singles is when you battle or perform with one pokemon, like me using Flora. Meanwhile, Doubles is what I was doing in class when I used Viper and Nagi." Azrael explained before looking at the girl that Lavender mentioned.
The girl was definitely a new girl. After all he made it a point to know all the students that enter through the doors of his class and the academy. So this girl was either a ghost and a new girl.
"I'm not completely sure myself. How about we introduce ourselves. " Azrael said, "It would be courtesy...after all to do so."
Then noticed Lydia. "Hey Lydia..." He waved to the girl, "Come join us. The more the merrier!!"

Lavender smiled and nodded, waving down the girls to come over. "Ya. Hey! Come over here! It'll be fun!" She called out to the two of them. "Mister Azrael is right! The more the merrier! Come on!" She stopped only for a moment to think about what Azrael had said before, about the battles. "Single!" She called out from nowhere, looking back to him. "I mean! I'd like to practice single battles for now. At least until I start getting good enough for two pokemon." She smiled up. "Vince and I are working hard on appeal rounds, so I need to work hard on the second round." She looked back, trying to coax her fellow peers into joining in. "It's okay if you don't have a swim suit! Come on down!" She started her waving again.

Ah, people were shouting. Angelica turned her head to look at the two teachers. Were they... waving at her. "Come on, maybe they have food," she said quietly to Pichu. Turning and adjusting the strap to her bag, she made her way over to Lavender and Azrael. "Am I in trouble?" she asked. Seems the distance, and maybe the waves and the wind, had blocked out anything they might've said to imply otherwise.
