It is the year 3092 all governments have fallen to their eventual ends and the world itself is nothing but a desolate waist land.

The wars that tore the world apart have led the world to turn into sectors that are run by the monopolies that were once the driving force behind governments. The men who put their money behind government officials are now the men in-front instead of the men pulling the strings behind the scenes. These powerful men have built multiple dome cities to protect themselves and those they deem worthy to work for them and carry on the human race.

Those they deem unworthy are thrown to the waist lands of the earth to fight the mutated humans, deformed creatures, and beings only capably described as demons that have crawled from the earths crust.

The men who now control the world have seen fit that using these desperate humans to entertain themselves is the perfect way to use them. It also gives them a chance to give them a controllable figure head that they believe those from outside the domes can respect and follow where as those in charge can still pull someones strings. Its not a perfect system but it has run for almost 200 years now. The tournament calls one and all from the pro fighters to the lowly scum that feed off the sewage run off from the dome cities. Come one come all to the tournament of King KO. It is called the King KO tournament based off that no woman has won the tournament for 140 years but the one time female champ was crowned Queen KO.
The last tournament ended over 4 years ago and it is about to start again. The tournament has multiple stages fought in several arenas all built and designed to be as strange and difficult to fight in as possible including living animals, traps, and even living flesh eating plants.

Character Name: Mathias Garious
Species: Demon
Abilities/Powers: Mathias has the power of darkness. He can control shadows turn flame black and control it to his will. Turn a shadow to a sword and shield or even a gun if he can imagine it he can make it just by touching a shadow but he has to touch it.
Back story: Mathias looks human but that is only part of his power. Mathias is a shadow demon that possessed a humans body. The human was dead when he took the body so it was damaged he had to repair the body and make it his own. He has lived almost 100 years repairing the body and growing in power. When he first took over the human body he now has he had to take control one cell at a time making the body unable to age using his immortal demon soul to change the body to his liking. The body now has his strength as a demon can use his claws. Being immortal means he doesnt age but he does feel pain he can die immortal only means he doesnt die of natural causes or age beyond what the body was originally.

Character Name: Yunari LeAnn Falls
Species: Elemental
Abilities/Powers: Yune’s abilities sprout from birth. She has the ability to completely control the element of fire. Now this can range from things such as heat to lava. All aspects of flame are under her grasp. Because of this she had a “true” form as well that completely envelopes her body in flame. She is strongest during the day because the sun is out however that makes her much weaker at night. She can not take on her “true form” at night, the only exception being during an eclipse. When the sun and moon line up in the sky both she and her sister receive a massive power boost. Physical fighting style is Shaolin Kung Fu. They have higher healing rate, small scrapes being hours while things like major wounds would take a few days without a healer.
Back story: Yunari and her sister were born on the day of an eclipse. When the sun and moon lined up in the sky it created a rather dark spot over their small and desolate village. On that day a barren woman gave birth to twin girls. The woman, taking it as a sign of blessing raised the two children to the best of her ability. It did not take long for the woman to realize that she was raising the children of the sun and moon. They had magical powers that made them stick out among the children. Everything went well for seven years but then it happened. The event was rather frightening. On their seventh birthday a freak incident caused a lunar eclipse. With the earth separating the sun and the moon the two sisters became powerless humans. During this time all the magic faded and a strange band of people attacked. The children were kidnapped and their mother murdered.
The two children were brought back to a strange building and introduced to the syndicate. There the two were held in bondage, even beaten and battered until their “training” was complete. For a week after the lunar eclipse the girls remained human and the people beat into their minds that they were the pets. On the seventh day their powers returned but the girls had already spoken their contract. Due to mysterious magic they are bound to work for the syndicate, doing everything job that they have been forced to do. When the girls turned sixteen they were aloud out into the world to live their own lives with the understanding that if the syndicate, if “father” commanded them to do a job, then they must do so until the contract is broken, father is killed or they die.
Due to the fact that during a solar eclipse they gain immense powers, seven days before the solar eclipse and seven days after a lunar eclipse the girls become human and completely powerless, hence the need to learn a fighting style. The Syndicate, as they learned to call it, taught them how to fight using Shaolin Kung fu and gave them a code name, like all their loyal pets. Yunari and her sister were hence known as the Sisters of Augustine for the very fact that Yune decided to take up a job at a church in her free life. In a way the name was meant to mock them.

Character Name: Ray Cinder Falls
Species: Elemental
Abilities/Powers: Ray has the power of water, stemming from birth as well. This water ability ranges from the normal water, to mist, ice and other aspects involving water. She has a true form like her sisters, being completely identical minus their colors. She is strongest during the night and weakest during the day as the moon is her source of power. During an eclipse both she and her sister gain quite the power boost. Aside from magical abilities Ray and Yune fight with a style called Shaolin Kung Fu for they spent a good amount of time studying that style of fighting. They have higher healing rate, small scrapes being hours while things like major wounds would take a few days without a healer.
Back story: (for the most part look to Yunari’s post) When the girls turned sixteen they went separate paths. Yune went to work at a church while Ray herself advanced her fighting skilled while participating in underground fights and bets. She is often the one called on by the syndicate as she was considered the “stronger” of the two. Only during situations where Ray is not enough is Yune called in. This allowed Yunari to live a semi normal life where as Ray was forced to do most of the dirty work. She doesn’t have a normal job and or life where Yunari does.
