The date is September 24, 1896 and just the eve after Her Majesty Queen Victoria surpassed George the III as longest reigning monarch in Scottish, English, and British history.
Even though her Majesty requested any special celebrations be delayed until next year to coincide with her Diamond Jubilee I'm sure she wouldn't mind if we toasted a glass in her honor, hmm?
Welcome, darlings one and all. I am Nickolai Bellemount, and I welcome you to my manor.
Eat drink and be merry, is that not what scripture says? So come let us celebrate, and raise our glasses in Her Majesty's name.
The setting takes place in Victorian England, where the wealthy and regal gather. Rebelliously toasting glasses in her Majesty's name, while blatantly disregarding her request.
Who's to blame for such a gathering? Nickolai Bellemount, an arrogant young royal.
His family has close ties with the Queen, as her Majesty was the first English Monarch to meet with a French Monarch since 1502.
Her interest in improving relations with Britain and France was a moving one, and the Bellemounts moved to England as a gesture of loyalty.
Alexander Bellemount a hardened and conservative solider pledged his family's support in helping rid any threats or uprisings that troubled the Queen.
This ties translate into: "I can have a party whenever I bloody well please, so long as it's in the name of the Queen" for young Nickolai.
However, amidst the swirling ball gowns and delicately crafted masks lurks someone with dark intentions.
During the festivities a scream silences the orchestra and Nickolai's fiancee is found dead on the ballroom floor.
Who's to blame for such a terrible tragedy on what was to be such a lovely night..?
Everybody has the obvious motivation, but underneath lies a secret tie with the victim..
What it is, is up to you.
