I would like to start an info column upon the Planet Auldrant and its inhabitants. Any info provided and confirmed by others will be extremely helpful. Also, please know that if you want anything added, please post in another topic, as User entries will crowd out the real ones. I will also create an encylcopedia for User generated characters and locations, so please make surethe character/location exists before posting here, otherwise it will be removed.

Researching artes and their compatibilities with different Fonons.
Ex. Fang Blade +Wind = Lightning Tiger Blade
Light Spear Cannon + Light = Light Blast

The examples listed are FOF changes. Also, each character can perform two different mystic artes (with the exception of Luke with Ion's help and Anise.)
Luke: Radiant Howl and ?
Tear: Innocent Shine and ?
Jade: Mystic Cage and ?
Guy : Brazing Phoenix and ?
Anise: Final Fury and ? and ?
Natalia: ? and ?
I will fill in those missing blanks as soon as I can.
The FOFs will be a lot longer, as there are so many of them. Both Luke and Anise's third Mystic arte can be chained with their first, though how to use the second one for any of them os a mystery.

dude, what you did was mystic artes! FOF''s are where you talk one art and it become another such as "steal" becomes "coil" on certain elemental fields!

I hope that the game you have is for the PS2 not the 3DS cause I have both! Mystic Artes are advanced artes, FOF's are Field of Fonons, were you change one arte into a higher arte. Therefore one attack becomes a different attack. (You learn that at the Fubres River)

Mystic Artes are a shift from one basic Arte to a higher Arte.

EX. Jade use's Lightning Blade while in Over Limit mode, (Hold the X button (PS2 style)), it becomes Mystic Cage.

EX. 2 - 2cd play through- (Hold down the X button after doing Lightning Blade (must reach 100-200 limit before using it.) It become Mystic Cage, (Hold R2 button at the start of Mystic Cage) It become Indignation.

There are Arte's (your base attacks.) then there are your Mystic Arte's, (Your advanced attacks.) Only the Mystic Arte's can be reached when you meet certain requirements in the game.

EX. Jade's Mystic Arte's Level:
1. Mystic Cage
(Requirement: Use High Fonic Arte's and hold X button.)
2. Indignation
(Requirement: Must have used Lightning Blade at least 200 times, must be on 2cd play through or higher. Hold the R2 button while in over limit.)

Grand Cokmah: The Floating Capital - Capital of the Malkuth Empire. Ruled by Peony the Ninth, the Grand Cokmah is the jewel of the empire with its scenic views. Many of its facilities have running water, a rare sight for any other building on Auldrant. These water run facilities are operated by fonic artes and the city's aqueducts. This city also becomes a fortress in wartime, closing its ports. Warships are still able to move in and out of the city via underwater tunnels. It is home to the Tartarus, who's captian is Colonel Jade Curtiss.

Keterburg: The Silver World - Keterburg is a city far in the far North. Blanketed eternally in white snow, it is surprisingly lively. The city hosts a casino, as well as hotel and resort. The most envied of these services is the Keterburg spa. It is an exclusive V.I.P. feature, and only those who are invited can enjoy it. This city is governed by Nephry, Colonel Jade Curtiss's sister, and is the hometown of Jade and Dist the Reaper.
