Personality: A very calm and collected individual that isn't above insulting someone for little to no reason. Hatsu prefers to remain silent and calm, but can be cunning in certain situations. He believes in duality, feeling that him performing one action must mean that another must act in a way opposite to him at that exact moment, even if they are not anywhere nearby or knowledgeable of his existence.

Biography: Hatsu Mirufune was born into the family of some person. Over the years, he's forgotten exactly who it was. He remembers they were a swordsman, and that was all he feels he needs to remember. Trained from a young age to wield a sword, and consequently always found with two at his side, he has a very firm grip and a great amount of skill. He has not bothered putting time into other things and can be blunt or rude in a conversation, though he likely means well. After a large amount of time training in a time he has long forgot, Hatsu Mirufune found himself in the Rukongai. Although his reiatsu was lacking, his sword skills were something else, even to some of the Shinigami. Feeling at home in the Rukongai, using two broom handles as weapons, he trained further, pushing himself to exhaustion, only being helped at this point by kinder residents. This determination seemed to have won out as he was shortly recruited into Shino Academy. What may have been a decade later, he graduated and continued his rigorous training unless ordered by a higher rank to not train. This had led to his eventual promotion through various divisions and after his belief in duality became known by more than just those who speculated it as rumor, he was appointed the position of the "Spirit Catchers" division captain.
Family: Hatsu does not remember anything about his family, putting forth most of his thought to his training.

Zanpakutō Spirit: The zanpakuto spirit is actually a single cloud and a large rock. Although split as they are, they are one spirit, and join together when talking to someone, although they have their own independent actions, granting a split personality in essence.

Shikai Abilities:
- Sōtsuisei: Yabureta dengen - This ability is essentially a passive that has similar abilities depending on the sword. The Heaven Blade is now able to float through the air and strike from above. The Earth Blade is now able to move through the ground and attack from below. Using his left hand, he can direct the Heaven Blade to attack, and the right hand controls the Earth Blade to attack. This move is very bad for guarding since they can move freely through the respective substance, meaning that any amount of force can easily push the weapons. The same problem exists when using them offensively. He cannot use this control however, if the weapons exit a three meter radius.
Sōtsuisei: Shifuto - Using the Earth Blade, Hatsu creates a powerful burst of reiatsu around the blade. This force pulls all objects towards the weapon, the strength of the pull fading as the distance between the blade and the target increases. For this move to be used the blade must be within three meters of Hatsu and be touching the ground.
Sōtsuisei: Ribāsu - Using the Heaven Blade, Hatsu creates a powerful burst of reiatsu from the blade. This move is the reverse of Shifuto and instead of dragging objects to a point, it pushes them away, getting weaker as the wave travels. This move can only be used if the blade is within three meters of Hatsu and isn't touching the ground
Sōtsuisei: Omomidzuke fera - With this move, using the Earth Blade, Hatsu concentrates an amount of reiatsu into the weapon and aims to make contact with any solid or liquid (gasses are not affected). Upon contact the reiatsu is transferred immediately, and forming a thick and very heavy cloak of reiatsu, effectively weighing down the opponent to slow their movements and in some cases, rendering them immobile. This move does have a downside however. In return for the heavier weight, the victim is also granted a much larger amount of defense. The extra weight lasts for (2) posts.
Sōtsuisei: Fera o sakujo suru - This move can only be executed by the Heaven Blade. This move charges reiatsu into the Heaven Blade and then must contact any non-gas substance. Contact will instantly transfer the reiatsu to the opponent in the form of a "speed boost". This move is hazardous because it allows the victim to move even faster than normal, effectively multiplying their speed by (1.5). However, this move also makes the victim lighter, meaning that they can be sent flying farther than normal, effectively reducing their weight by (1.5) times. This technique also lowers the victim's defense, effectively making them weaker and less resistant to blows. This removal of weight lasts for (2) posts.

Bankai Name: Ten no shōtotsu to chikyū (天の衝突と地球: Clashing of Heaven and Earth)

Bankai Abilities:
- Kanzen'na sōtsuisei: Bundan no sonzai - A passive technique, this move utilizes the reiryoku that flows around Hatsu's arms as weapons. His arms become much stronger and faster, allowing him to block or mitigate most of the damage dealt by opposing zanpakuto or kido as well as damage foes as if facing a zanpakuto. This defensive aspect only applies to his forearms, and will still let his hands get damaged. However, by making a fist, a palm, or a simple karate chop, he can change the surface affected by the offensive, damaging part of the attack.
Kanzen'na nijū-sei: Ryōmen tonikku - This move allows Hatsu to move the reiatsu around his body as a sort of barrier. During the duration of the first half of this move, Hatsu loses the ability to use the aura of the Earth Blade and is granted a defense boost as well as a reduction in his speed. After this portion is finished, he regains the ability to use the Earth Blade Aura, but loses the Heaven Blade aura. The Heaven Blade Aura then coats his body, bathing him in the white reiryoku instead of the black reiryoku and makes him lighter, increasing his speed but reducing his defense. Additionally during the last half of this move, the Heaven Aura will heal all minor wounds (up to a green stick fracture, organ damage excluded). This move does put a large amount of stress Hatsu's body and can cause him to pass out. Earth Aura lasts (2) posts and Heaven Aura lasts (2) posts
Kanzen'na sōtsuisei: Kyōki no supairaru - Another painful move for Hatsu to use, although less destructive to his body in terms of fatigue, it can cause good physical wear if he isn't ready to withstand blows in his current location. This move creates a force of reiatsu on Hatsu to send the surrounding objects flying and then rapidly changes it into a gravity pull, dragging afflicted objects towards Hatsu's body. This alone can cause whiplash in an unsuspecting victim, but isn't the deadliest part of the move. Before most, if any, objects can reach Hatsu, another repulsion is emitted in order to sandwich all objects caught in the forces. Weaker substance, such as rocks, can be reduced to rubble easily while stronger ones may suffer only the whiplash and even stronger ones virtually nothing at all. Range is ten meters.

Two Blades, One Mind - Although carrying two blades, they are not used in tandem, generally only being wielded one at a time. This further proves Hatsu's Immense Strength by focusing the force of both arms into one sword and allows him to carry an extra weapon as well.
