"Even the loveliest dream bears like a blemish its difference from reality, the awareness that what it grants is mere illusion."

Theodor Wiesengrund Adorno

The Imaginary Game
Before the Game began, no beings would have imagined that the Lore's peace would have been shattered, or to be more precise, no one have ever knew it existed until it was destroyed before their very eyes.

It seemed to happened yesterday, or maybe it does happened yesterday.
The self-proclaimed 'God' appeared out of nowhere, with his powers he took away immortality and gave the need for food, warmth and many more desires.

Or it may have been an eternity, since what was left of the Lore are several factions, waging an eternal war.

The God decided to amuse himself by choosing a group of very few beings, revealing them the truth of their's universe.
They are allowed to know the reality of the war, and break free from the lies, of the brainwashed leaders whose masters has long deceased.
Under one condition: They may not use the power that they knowledge granted.

Will they play by the rule, and see their loved ones killed when they should have been able to prevent it, or will they rebels against the God and bring the world back to its former peace?

Lore

Thought up as the story goes.

Cities

Karan - A desert city in the midst of the glass desert.

Landmarks

Itjande Desert, Glass Desert - A desert famously known as the Glass Desert, formerly known as Itjande, home to the Great Dragon Initiras, whose home was later renamed to Itj due to the pronunciation of the ancient sandmen that used to live in it. Legend says that the God is directly responsible for wiping out their races through Initiras, though some might object to this saying that the dragon died for so long even before the creatures inhabited the desert.

Vocabulary

They dominant language is, of course, English due to the mind of the God, but sometimes strange and cryptic language crops up. These are some of the well known words.

-ande - Suffix to add, translates to 'location of'
-ras - Suffix of a title, translates to 'born'

FYI

Q. Wait, what the hell is this RP about?
A. Well, I guess the intro does sounds a bit mysterious. It's just very simple: The 'God' is a lucid dreamer, that's people who is aware when they are dreaming.
He made the creatures of dreams who were comfortable with living on a life of entertainment without having to eat or kill to survive, have to live like normal animals, which made them start eating each others to satisfy their hungers.
The 'chosen' are a group of these creatures whom the God revealed that this is all just a dream, and that they are actually no histories behind the war.

Q. Why are they fighting, anyways?
A. Hard to say, maybe some hungry creatures built a brainwashing machine and caused the war just so they can become king and live better than others.

Q. I see that you're using 'creatures', what does that mean?
A. It means the characters don't have to be humanoids, although I'm pretty sure most of the roleplayers will still be humanoid.

Q. Where is the join form?
A. Have you ever been able to survey a dream characters by looking at theirs Profiles?
No.
So you can just simply come out of nowhere and post, although you're more than encouraged to include some links to your character's appearance in your post and make them talk about their past with others.

Q. Are all these characters in the same factions?
A. No.
They don't even know if any others are one of them.
The God simply told them they're people like them.

Rules:

1. Please follow Gaia's ToS
2. No godmodding, please.
3. Try to stay in 3rd person.
4. Use {_______} and/or different colored text to signal OOC text.

Intro

In the midst of a busy city, belonging to a faction, bound into the war for eternity, a small figure clad in red hooded robe walked through the streets of Karan. He had sensed a great force of his worst nemesis here, himself. He would refer to it as Karma, and he had came here in person to negotiate with it, and maybe negate its powers by humoring its desires.

The sun shone brightly, illuminating the crystalline sand, it could potentially blind a person without proper eyewear. Passerby would take note at the jet black armor protruding out of the boy's cloak, and his plated mask. One would wonder how he would endure the heat and the weight, but, of course, the God knew better. He could change everything, with not a limit except his own imagination and his guilt, Karma. The being would conceal itself inside that tavern over there.

He is baffled by his own mind sometimes, why would everyone go to a bar in a time of war such as this, but it may be that wars has been with the creatures since it could have remembered, and they won't expect it to end.

Such a twisted mind for a youth, or perhaps he only thought of it as self-abuse, or maybe he doesn't even believe in the existence of the chaos he had created. As for himself, Karma, he is but the guilt of the boy. A guilt where he won't admit the suffering of the creatures, a mind that still cared for their well being.

Apart from being responsible for a cult that is uniting their efforts into ending the war, Karma hasn't done anything as of yet. That's because he still had a link with the boy, or be to precise, they're the same person.

Simultaneously, he is the boy, walking into the tavern, and he is also himself, a normal-looking creature inside the bar. He does not know how he actually looked, however. It all depends on the boy, on himself, actually. Karma has already conveniently placed all the chosen ones inside this very tavern, all of them tricked with false memories, and they will know everything when they are sent back to their inhabitant, including a mean to contact the people who share their destiny. He went to the bartender, yes, she is the first chosen one, he can't be sure with her appearance, however, that depends on the judgment of the universe. Karma asked for a drink as he eyed the God, making his entrance into the tavern.
