Chakra: Wind Style User~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Temari had been strolling through The Village Hidden in the Leaves, preparing for the upcoming Chuunin exams, and reminiscing over the exam she had taken nearly 4 years ago. She remembered both the good and the bad, but mostly she was thinking about him. Uzumaki Naruto, the boy who saved her baby brother, and since then her hero. Although she'd never admit it out loud. She was much to proud for that. Her tour of the village came to a hault when she heard her stomach growling, even the best shinobi have to eat once in a while. She turned the corner knowing that Ichiraku's ramen shop was there, she wasn't much for ramen but she didn't mind once in a while. She lifted the cloth that adorned the opening, acting as a door and stepped in. She sat down an without haste ordered a bowl of there famous 'skim ramen', she heard someone else gulping up their bowl and looking to her left, without fail, sat Uzumaki Naruto. "Hey there, kid, long time no see." She said in her usual course manner.

 Name: Naruto Uzumaki Age: 18 Rank:Genin (Still! freakin time skips are mean to him!) Village: Konohagakure(Hidden Leaf Village) Chakra: Wind Style User (I think. Rasengan is a wind move, right?) Naruto almost choked on his ramen at the sound of a familiar voice. He swallowed it carefully, then turned to spot Temari, giving her his trademark grin. "Hey, Temari! How's it going? How's your brother Gaara doing?" He asked. He remembered Temari and her two brothers from his first Chunin exam. Her youngest brother Gaara had been taken over by his demon tenant, Shukaku, and Naruto managed to defeat it and save Gaara, as well as all of Konoha. Bad news was he didn't pass the exam since it was crashed, but he was okay with taking it again since he played a big role in saving his home. Naruto and Gaara became friends, so Temari, being Gaara's sister, was okay by him

"Oh he's fine, busy with his Kazekage duties though." She said nonchalantly, her bowl was placed in front of her. Cracking her chopsticks apart, she picked up some noodles and began slurping them up. Her mind wandered off again, and she remembered that Naruto hadn't passed the Chuunin exams yet. She looked up from her bowl, giving him a sympathetic look "So, I heard you're still a Gennin, is that true?" She asked carefully, not wanting to upset him.((Also for future reference, go here: Narutopedia if your ever not sure about something.))

Naruto gave her a nod. "Yeah...but it's cool. I'll get past the next Chuunin exam no problem! I'll know what they're throwing at me this time! Believe it!" He said, with his trademark energy and catchphrase. He was alright with staying a genin for now. He would get promoted eventually. I mean, his name IS the friggin' title of the show! That's gotta count for something! He went back to his Ramen, greatly enjoying it once more.

Temari smirked at his statement, she always did think he was rather amusing. "Well you might be able to catch a break soon then, since the Chunnin exams are only a few weeks away." She mentioned all-knowingly. She took a few more slurps of her ramen, before speaking again "I'm actually here to help set up everything. A Jounins work is never done, haha!" She joked lightly, the only person she really hung out with since she got here was Shikamaru, and heaven knows he's not one for conversation, so Temari was quite enjoying her little chat with Naruto.

Naruto chuckled along with Temari. She was pretty fun to talk to, even if they didn't really hang out much. She normally spent time with Shikamaru while she was here, so he didn't get to chat with her much. "Well, that's cool! I guess I'll end up seeing you there!" He said with a grin. The whisker-faced blonde was glad to have someone he knew at the Exams. It gave him a bit of support, even if she was just there to help set it up.

"Hmm, I guess so!" The last time she had seen him fight, it was quite enjoyable "I wonder if it'll be jsut as entertaining this time around?" She pondered to herself. She smiled at him, "Well you're pretty much guaranteed to make it, since you already know everything. Plus you are really strong." Temari 's faced pinked a little bit, but she remedied it by finishing off her ramen. Successfully hiding her cheeks.

Naruto grinned back at Temari, glad that she had confidence in him. "Thanks, Temari!" He said happily. He could have sworn he saw a bit of pink on the sand kunoichi's cheeks. Huh. His eyes must have been messing with him. Naruto knew he would make it. He was just happy to have some support from a friend.

Temari took the last sip of soup from her noodles and put her money on the counter. "Everybody's rooting for you Naruto, it wouldn't do anyone any good if the next Hokage was still a Genin!" She giggled and winked at him before turning to leave the ramen shop. As she was walking she placed a hand on her face "What came over me?" Her thoughts sounded through her mind. She decide that she would pay a visit to the training grounds. Some good ol' fashioned exercise would get rid of her unusual giddiness.

Naruto felt his face turn a bit red at that little wink from Temari, but ir only showed up when she turned away. He wondered why he reacted like this, but he shrugged it off. He figured going to Team 7's old training spot would take his mind off it. He finished off his ramen, then got up and left. He felt really good right now. Seeing a friend and finding out he would see her at the exams made him even more excited for it.

Several hours later, and Temari was still at the training grounds. Although she wasn't training any longer, she was laying in the grass, staring at the stars and thinking about her conversation with Naruto. She could faintly hear the sound of kunai knocking into wood some distance away, "Somebody training this late?" She questioned mentally, before shrugging it off, it was none of her business. he continued her star gazing, finding a few constellations here and there, and listening to the sounds of the mystery ninja training. It was strangely soothing, and before long she ended up falling asleep right there on the ground.

Meanwhile, Naruto was training by throwing kunai at a wooden target, doing pretty well, I might add. Tenten, his friend and Konoha's expert weapon master, would be proud. Naruto always put everything he had into things, so of course he stayed up this late. However, he was getting a bit tired, so he was gonna head home. He started walking back to his apartment, until he spotted what looked like...Temari sleeping on the ground? Yup, it was her. It was odd, but she seemed comfortable. Should he just leave her there? He looked up at the night sky and smiled. It was really nice out tonight. Naruto let out a yawn, feeling his eyelids get heavy. Normally, he had a lot of stamina and such, but he didn't feel like walking back right now, so he picked a spot on the ground and laid there, glancing over at Temari before looking back up at the stars. He found it pretty relaxing, and eventually fell asleep.

Temari could tell that the sun was already up, even with her eyes closed. The suns rays surrounded her like a warm blanket in winter. It felt positively amazing, she wished it would last forever. Unfotunately though, she knew that she'd have to get up sooner or later, and taking into consideration that she had work to; she chose sooner. She peeled her still sleepy eyes open, "I can't believe I fell asleep.. in the training grounds.." She chuckled to herself, "It was quite nice though."
She turned her head to look at either side of her, when she looked to her left she saw Naruto, sleeping. Startled she shot up to her feet. Her hand to her chest, in an attempt to slow her heartrate down. She took a few deep breaths, one. two. three. and she stepped over to Naruto's sleeping for, and poked him in the shoulder with her foot, trying to awake him.

Naruto snored lightly, looking quite content in his dream. He had a wide grin on his face, and he was even drooling a bit. Seemed like he was having the old "ramen swimming pool" dream again. Sadly, it came to an end when something nudged him on the shoulder. He slowly opened his eyes, spotting Temari standing over him. "Oh, hey, Temari. Good morning." He said with a smile, too oblivious or too sleepy to explain why he was sleeping out here.

"Uh, yeah, good morning..." She spoke briskly, "Care to explain why we were sleeping next to each other?" She asked harshly, between training most of the day, and passing out in the grass, the past day was quite hazy in Temaris memory.{{Sorry it's so short, couldn't really think of much}}
