Everyday, the amount of school work that Masa receive was a big reminder of why she hated school so much. Too much work in so little time. She'd probably get enough time if she spent less time getting distracted by other things.
Curse the creator of school work. Curse them.
So, there she was, drifting in and out of sleep on the living room floor after having pushed things to the side to give her more room. Her books were where her head was, and her arms were substitutes for any pillow she could've used.
Asleep...awake...asleep...awake... that continued for a while until Masa was clear-headed enough to decide that she would bother Felix for help, if he could help her, but sleep first. Sleep was always good, wasn't it? Her uncle was always trying make her sleep, after all. SIlly man. All he could've done was give her some homework, and she'd be asleep without a problem!
...Okay. The floor wasn't a very comfortable spot for her to sleep, especially if she was trying to forget that the homework she'd given up on was due soon. Sleepily and tiredly, she sat up, blinking disapprovingly at the books before her. With a snort, she then got to arranging her books into a pile. There. That could wait for a few more hours before being touched again.

Felix hadn't had any issue getting his homework done...mostly because he seemed to have a knack for finishing things he despised with surprising speed. He gave his math one last look over, the got up from his desk and gave Jaeger a pet on the head.
A glance at the clock, and he knew it was time for some fun. Hours of homework deserved a treat. He flipped his cell phone open, hitting the speed dial Yuki was programmed on. She should be done by now too, right? He silentlyt scoffed with a smile. As if...she probably hadn't even started.

Masa had just crawled over to the couch when she heard her phone ringing. The same phone that she had abandoned with her pile of books a few feet away. Of course, she was lazy enough to debate actually ignoring the call and going back to sleep, but...she didn't. Whining and groaning, she crawled back to her pile of books. Seeing Felix's name appear as the caller I.D seemed to wake her up.
"Do my homework for meeeeeeeee."
No 'hi' for him. Nope. None at all.

Felix couldnt supress the grin of amusement at the whining plea that came from Masami. He closed his eyes and shook his head, then sighed. "I'm not your personal homework slave." He said softly, before looking at Jaeger again. The dog tilted his head, floppy puppy ears falling against his head cutely.
"Fine, come on over." He agreed, moving to type an email on his laptop to his butler. "I'll do it for you, but you have to bring it all over, okay? I'll have Gerald pick you up in about 20 minutes." He sent the email informing the butler to head out and retrieve the 'wife', as the household had come to call her when Masami couldn't hear them. It amused Felix to no end.
"I'll also have some refreshments prepared. What do you feel like drinking tonight?" He inquired curiously. He already had another email open that was addressed to his cook, and was typing a full course dinner menu out in it to. It was a good thing they all had their emails going to their phones as notices, Felix realized. Though, given todays relianace on technology, that wasn't abnormal, especially for the peasants and working class.

"Please," Masa whined desperately at first, ready to break into false tears if necessary. He should've seen the look on her face when he said that she should come over. Almost immediately, she was running to her room to pull a pair of pants over her shorts.
"Yes! Yes! Yes! I'll bring everything over!' He was her live saver right then. Quietly and childishly, she asked, "Do you have any juice boxes...?" She could've asked for a regular glass of juice, but no. She wanted the juice boxes because they...well, they were juice boxes.

Felix laughed, his eyes lighting up as he added the juice box demand to his Email. "We'll have some for you when you get here, alright?" He promised, making sure that he added the essential 'Get all flavors' behind the juice order. He'd hate to have Masami put off the juice because it was the wrong kind.
"I'm also having dinner made. What do you think Jaeger would like more, Chicken, liver, or steak?" He inquired curiously. He knew the dog really didnt care one wit what they gave him, so long as he was fed, but Felix liked knowing what Masami thought about the dog. It was, in a way, a taste of the fun he'd missed out on in his childhood to pretend the dog had preferences such as a human might, and Masami made that fun available to him.

"Thank you!"
There! She found a pair of pants and put that on.
"Um..." As she thought about it, she stared at the kittens making home in her shoes. Jaeger seemed like a dog that would prefer to chomp on steak, but he also seemed to to be the dog that would enjoy liver and chicken. ..Sakura would lean more towards the chicken, but that was Sakura.
"Liver? ...Yeah, liver. Shoo, Aya, Rei. Go sleep in another pair of shoes." Shooing the kittens away.

Felix chuckled to himself. "Very well then. Liver it is." He typed in the rest of the order, then sent the email. "Now, You finish getting around, and make sure you bring all your books and work.. I dont want to have to send Gerald to retrieve forgotten math homework. Anything forgotten might just have to be done by you." He playfully threatened.
"I have to get a shower, I worked out for a bit after school, and I'm sure you wouldn't like a sweaty me." Felix said, grabbing a clean shirt and a clean pair of jeans. "I'll see you in 15 minutes, okay?" By now, he was sure Gerald was already waiting patiently outside Masami's house for her, though Felix wasn't sure she'd be ready to go yet. "Bye Yuki."
With that, he hung up and went to jump into the shower, taking Jaeger with him so the dog could get clean too. He'd been digging in the garden again, after all.

Masami froze at that threat. Playful or not, that scared the crap out of her because she didn't see herself doing homework that she didn't understand because of her carelessness.
"Stinky boy, go get clean." As if he could see her, she nodded right before he hung up.
"SHOO!" She flailed at the kittens that had returned to the pair of shoes she planned on wearing. "Sleep in your beds. Out, out, out." Grumbling as she did so, she lifted the kittens and quickly moved her shoes out of the way, dropping the kittens in their bed. "Sleep there."
As soon as she was ready, books packed and shoes finally on her feet, she peeked out the window, checking for Gerald. With the amount of time she'd spent in getting ready, she was sure that the man had been waiting there for quite a while.
Oops.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" She apologised the moment she stepped out to meet the man.

Gerald, an old german butler who had moved to Japan to help care for Felix, merely nodded his gray head and gave Masami a smile. "There ist non reason to be sorry, dear. This old man has been kept waiting longer by much less pleasing company." He said in a very heavy German accent as he opened the door for her. His speech was a bit broken, as he had had the hardest time of the German servants who had learned the language. "Shall I carry your bag, Miss Masami? Homework these days, I am told, is much heavier then in my day."
He held his hand out to her, both to help her into the back of the waiting limo, and also to take her bag should he accept his offer to take care of it for her. "Master Felix is waiting for your arrival, and I am sure he is looking much forward to it."

Oh... It was good that he didn't seem upset because she felt that she would have a hard time explaining herself to the man, if the need arose. Masami shook her head, patting the messenger bag resting on her hip as she gave the old man a smile. "You don't have to; I'm fine." The bag was a bit heavy, but she wasn't going to burden the friendly man. She did take his helping hand into the car, however.
"I think I'm just as excited as he is...~"

Gerald helped Masami into the car, then closed the door and went to the drivers seat. "Ah, you two are always together now." He said, buckling up and pulling out of her driveway before he glanced at her in the rear view mirror. "You enjoy the house more and more, ja? Master Felix wishes you to be most comfortable in his home." He focused on driving, as he was not one to be careless with his master's friend in the car.
"I am told, should you ever need anything, that you need only call and we will all help." He offered. "It is the master's wish."

It was true that Masami enjoyed the house more and more after each visit, and she nodded to confirm that. Why? She believed that it was because she got to spend time with Felix. ...He made her happy, kept her company without problem, and those a few of the reasons she bounced at any opportunity to spend time with him.
"Aish, he's doing too much," she grumbled, rubbing her forehead. "You really shouldn't listen to his words when it comes to taking care of me. I'm fine. Really."

Gerald laughed a bit, shaking his head and saying something softly in german before he turned into the driveway of the Gottlieb manor. "Nein nein, we must insist. It ist non just master Felix. We enjoy you being around, lady Masami. You bring smile back to master's eyes. It pleases us to see him so happy again."
He parked, getting out of the car to go around and open her door. "Please, make yourself at home." He nodded, holding his hand to help her out of the limo.
Felix glanced out his window, his hair sticking to his head. He smiled a bit, then started drying his hair with his towel. They were a bit earlier then he'd thought, but he didn't mind much. He shook his head, then pulled on his boxers and pants before grabbing his shirt and heading down toward the entrance hall to meet Masami.

"But--" Masa groaned again, pouting, before she gave in to the man's words. Well, if she was making people happy, then it was worth it. "I really do mean it," she told him as she exited the vehicle with his help. "No fussing about me until it is clearly and absolutely necessary. You're all already doing too much by dealing with me and my shenanigans. ...Promise?" She was so close to making the man pinkie swear, ridiculous or not.
