What faction has the best transports? The Imperial Guard with their Chimera, Valkyrie, Crassus Armored Assault Transport, and Gorgon. The Space Marines with the Rhino, Razorback, Landraider, Thunderhawk, Drop Pod, and Caestus Assault Ram. The Eldar with the Wave Serpent, Falcon, and Vampire Raider. The Dark Eldar with the Raider, Venom. The Orks with Truks, Battle Wagons, Squiggoths, Chinork Warcoptas. The Tau with the Devilfish, Orca, and Manta. Or the Necrons with the, Monolith, and Ghost Ark.

i personally feel that it is DE and their raider fir the fact of how effective it can be if your smart about how you use them

For only 55 base points, the chimera is a pretty good transport. It has a little better armor than the others (12, 10, 10), and good armament (heavy bolter, multi-laser, or heavy flamer on the turret, and either a heavy bolter or heavy flamer on the hull). Though it's not a fast vehicle, it's fast enough to make a two-turn objective dash feasible, plus five models can fire out of it (and they don't have to be models with lasguns).

I would say Land raiders and drop pods but thats cause i love the things xD

Well, I don't exactly play favorites, but I do like the look of a Chimera with a heavy bolter turret.
I've had a couple with multilasers, but they don't look so good anymore. The tip of the weapon kinda snapped off of one of them.
