My friend and I have come to this decision.. Gen II Best generation of pokemon HANDS DOWN.. What Gen is that? It's the gold/silver/crystal one.
It's funny, because I kept saying how I liked Gen 2 the most, except really I liked the Gen IV remake of Gold and Silver, which in turn made me realize Gen IV is my favorite ;P
But as a kid, Gen 1 was the best, hands down. The original 151 is the best.
However, Gold/Silver were still my favorite games, even though I think HG/SS was much better organized.
It's complicated at best ;P
