Krystal walked quietly along the trees heading back the way to the Ookami pack's home. Hopefully the Tora are less rude...She put a hand on her head in frusation as she looked around seeing it was getting dark and made a small ball of light appear in her hand so she could see, beginning to walk again.

[Enter Mai from Tree Tops.]
Mai entered the tree houses, landing softly and folding her wings back in the creases of her back. She blinked in the dim lighting of the houses and sighed. Glancing around, she found some rocks and a torch with lighter material already wrapped around it. She struck the rocks together, generating a spark that lit the torch and the room she was in. Walking through the houses, she spotted another light source and saw the Ookami girl behind it. She sighed, too tired to argue with her. "No luck with finding what you wanted?" She asked with a yawn. She didn't expect a warm response from her.

The girl just rolled her eyes not one to hold something against someone but she wasn't one to forgive so easily either. She crushed the light in her hands so it was dark and she moved out of the range of the touch light as she began walking again. "No, but I will find him or her one day."

"Watch your step, some of the floors are weak." Mai said, unfazed by the girl's curt words. But the words were what really caught her attention, and now that she thought about it, the girl had generated light and made it disappear. "You are light, and you are looking for darkness. Wouldn't it be easier for your dark half to find you instead? Saves you trouble and grief."

Krystal sighed seeing that she didn't hide the light fast enough before making another appear over her shoulder, "I can't wait forever, I feel like theres something thats going to happen that I need to stop." It was confusing to understand, yes. Even to her.

 Soaring over with much ease, multi-toned grey wings drifted through the air silently. The perks of the powers of an owl. Excellent night vision, and silent flight. Though crossed with his tall human sized frame, there was the downfall. However even that had it's perks. Strength and the ability to chew rather then swallow things whole. The thought sort of disgusted him. It made sense. Gethin just wouldn't enjoy swallowing a good meal whole. You wouldn't be able to taste it. What would be the point? Ducking under a branch and landing quietly a bit away from two holding a conversation, talons tapped on the wood as he mad his way towards his little bungalow. If you could call it that.

"Hmm...then you shouldn't travel alone. I've observed that other experiments are stronger in numbers. Maybe you should have some of your pack-mates accompany you when traveling. It'll keep— Mai cut herself off, hearing the talons of Gethin walking through the tree houses. His steps sounded away from them, indicating her was staying out of their conversation. "It'll keep the rude ones like me quiet." She finished her sentence, turning away from the ookami. The morning dove experiment needed her sleep.

"Like my parents would agree to me doing this." She rolled her eyes thinking of the lecture she would get when she got back to the den and began walking again this time the light was dimmer so she could hide it if someone else came up to her. "But thank you I guess."

"Uh-huh,ya'never know. They may already know about you." Mai yawned, giving the fox-girl a little wave over her shoulder. "Good night, and, like I said before, watch your step. You don't want to go plummeting to the forest floor." She left the room, taking the torch with her. If the girl fell, it was her own fault. The morning dove had warned her.

With as late as it was the other tribe members should be already in their huts sleeping, or getting inside. Of course you could stay out if you wish. Gethin highly disliked it for he worried about the members. However he wasn't going to force them to have a curfew. That would simply be a bit too controlling. Take away their freedom and they'd become hostile. Having bird DNA in them, they always wished to be free. Not being locked up in cages. The giant was one of those. Even being in his hut made him feel trapped. That's why he often slept on the roof of it. Gazing up at the sky, what you could see. If he could, he sleep during the day and stay awake all night. Owl deep within. But he wasn't going to sleep while other tribe members were up and about. What if anything happens? It is his duty to protect and guide. Not be lazy and sleep all the time.

Once the annoying fox-girl was gone, Mai went back into the tree houses, keeping her light in front of her so she wouldn't step into a hole or a weak floorboard. "Damn this place. I'll break a leg one day walking through here." She grumbled as she as walked through the rooms. Her nose caught the scent of Gethin, the Tori leader. She rolled her eyes as she stopped, glancing at the male for several moments. As great as a leader he was, he needed to stop being so relaxed and be more protective of their territory. She didn't like foxes or anyone for that matter.

Getting up upon the roof Gethin placed his backside down. Laying his right leg out flat, the other was placed at a bend straight up. Large wings sprawled out as the living giant laid back. It was a little uncomfortable at first but slowly it subsided. Those deep eyes stared up at the dark sky. The tops of the trees. Light of the moon coming through. It was a beautiful sight. Gentle hands placed themselves behind a grey hair topped head, elbows bent at an acute angle. A classic relaxing pose. Comfortable on the wood and leafed home roof. Gethin's chest rose and fell gently as sharp ears listened for any unfamiliar noise. Not really aware if any of the tribe members were watching him. The leader was engrossed in thought.
