One morning, Daring Do, the most adventurous, daring, and thrill-seeking pony woke up. She stealthily got her clothes and made her breakfast. She sits at the table, eating her breakfast looking at the newspaper. She is thinking of all the exciting adventures that await her!

((Alright!! Count me in!))
Suddenly, a crash of thunder outside of the window made Daring look up from her newspaper. Down in the street, a large crater was smoking and nesting a huge meteor.
What the- A meteor?? Daring wasted no time, choosing to fly out of the window instead of running downstairs. As she reached the site, a crowd of ponies was already beginning to form around the rim of the crater. Without hesitation, Daring skipped over the crowd and landed inside of the crater. A real meteor? It must still be hot... I wonder if it's dangerous. True to her name, she took one daring step after another, tiptoeing towards the smoking rock. As she was almost close enough to touch it, a loud snapping sound rang through the air. Daring jumped back just in time to avoid the half of the rock that fell towards her. Woah! Wait, it was... hollow? It was true, because standing with pieces of space rock scattered around it was a....

Dark Freeze was one of the locals, though no one seemed to really notice him. He floated above the rest and watched in interest.
Daring Do stood back as the smoke began to clear, though it was obvious that it was something that they wouldnt expect. She stood forward, waiting in excitement. This was going to be an adventure she would never forget...
((Count me in too. I guess DarkFreeze would be a BGOC(Background Original Character) biggrin ))

"Another meteor?!" Daring Do shouted in disappointment. It's true. Laying around space rock was another smaller meteor. Being so frustrated, she flew in the air and threw a fit.
A blue-violet and black pegasus appeared and flew to the scene. He wore thick circular black glasses with blue-violet eyes, had a long black mane and tail, and had white freckles all over his face.
The blue-violet and black nerdy looking pegasus flew up to Daring Do. "Hey babe, there's no need to be upset." the pegasus said comfortingly. Daring Do knew exactly who this was. This was the stallion who has been hitting on her for Celestia knows how long. "This doesn't concern you Spirit Dew." she said, looking away from him.
Spirit Dew looked around. "Fine... I know this is your thing sweetheart. See ya later!" he said kindly as he flew back into the crowd.
However, she was too frustrated to realize that her shout cracked open the smaller meteor revealing...

DarkFreeze's eyes grew wid. He knew what it was. It was a small gem in the shape of a cresent moon. "Daring, dont touch it!" he yelled. "Only certain ponies can hold it!" Daring looked up and looked confused. "Why? Freezy, what happens?" "The pony will crystalize!" he swoop down in front of her smiled. "Its called 'Lunadium'. It's a peice of a star thatgot too close when luna was trapped on the moon. Though I can hold it, I have been reported as 'extremely angry'. Be carefull." he said. Daring watched in excitment. What could happen now? He picked up the stone and winced. he smiled. "Well. this is funny. I dont feel a thing." he said, lokking towards the crowd. Daring Do got too close, and touched the Lunadium. she fell to the ground, and woke up in DarkFreeze's house. "You are one lucky Mare, Daring."

Daring Do slowly gained consciousness, and awoke relatively finicky. "Whoa, where am I? What happened? What was that thing?" shouted Daring Do, at a volume higher than necessary.
Spirit Dew followed Darkfreeze after he carried her off back to his house. "Hey, Darkfreeze, Daring sweetie, what happened?" he yelled from afar, as he came closer. He opened the window and plopped his front hooves on the rim of the window. "Anything I can do to help?" Spirit Dew said as he made his eyes derp temporarily.

"Daring, calm down. your at my house." he said, shaking his head. "You went unconscious, so I brought you to my house to rest. He grabbed the glass of water and handed it to her. "Like I said, that gem is called Lunadium. Its the lremains of a star that got too close to the moon when Luna was up there. when somepony touches it, and they arent the right person, they turn to crystal. Why you didnt turn to crystal, I dont know." he took a second glass of water and took a sip. "Spirit, you can come in." he opened the door and waited for him to come inside. "Um, are you okay? did the Lunadium radioactivity do something to you?" he said, refering to his eye going derp for a moment. Daring sat up and took a sip. "It tastes a bit metallic." she said, taking another sip. Darkfreeze looked at the water, and sighed. "Well thats..... New." he said, and looked to Spirit Dew. "No, we're fine, but you can stay for a while."

"I wonder why this Lunadium came here... and why now?" Spirit Dew pondered. "Well gang, time to go solve a mystery!" he said pointing in the air in a random direction. He stood there for a moment silent... "Where to start..." he said as he put his hoof to his chin. "By the way thank you for the hospitality Darkfreeze."
The sun was setting in Equestria, and across the sea, in the Lost World, a pony wearing a black cape and cloak, covering his face flew across the sea to Equestria.

"Youre welcome, Spirit." he said, returning his attetion to the cup. "As for the questio of why....... Discord is a statue, so it's not him. Nightmare moon is LONG gone, It MIGHT be Nocturn, but I doubt it. He was exiled to a sentance longer than Luna's and got exiled later. hmmmmm..... Any Idea's guys?" he said, taking muliple sips. Daring lost focus sometime after Darkfreeze said 'Nocturn' and thought to her self. "Maybe it was just a coincidense. Or maybe it was Fate. Ya know, like Im suppose to be a superhero or something. Wouldnt that be cool?" she said, beaming. DarkFreeze smiled. "Thats just like her..... Always thinking like lifes a fantasy.... It always seems to amaze me..... Wonder how she does it, being so calm?" he thought. "Anyway, who wants to go out for Dinner? Ive got plenty of bits on me!" he said, holding out his Bit pouch.

Spirit Dew flailed his hooves. "Oh! Oh! Me! I wanna eat!" he said as he smiled at Darkfreeze. "And I'm sure this beautiful young mare would be happy to accompany us." he said as he stroked Daring Do's mane. Daring Do just moved slightly away from Spirit Dew.
"Well, I am a bit hungry." Daring Do stated. "So why not? Where will we eat anyways?" She asked curiously.
Meanwhile, the mysterious pony from the Lost World flew above Ponyville and looked down to where the meteor landed. He then flew over to where Spirit Dew, Daring Do, and Darkfreeze were. Once he saw them, he flew away.

Dark Freeze tensed when he saw the strange pony. "Umm, I dunno. Where do you guys want to go?" he looked back at Daring, then at Spirit. "Do you guys want to invite anypony? Cause, I have enough for an extra 3 ponies." he sighed. this was going to be a long night.

"Oh, you don't need to use all your money. Although I have to thank you for asking." Spirit Dew said politely. "And I would prefer if one of you decided on the location as to where we eat."
Daring Do looked over at Darkfreeze. "You can choose because I don't mind where we eat." She said kindly to Darkfreeze.

"Ok. I know the perfect place." he said. "Daring, can you stand or walk?" "Um... I'm good for now." she said, smiling. they both got their thing and waited for Spirit Dew. "Well? Are you coming with us?" he said, walking out the door with Daring Do.

Spirit Dew looked up in the sky for a brief moment. "Yeah... I'm ready." he said relatively quietly. "I feel as though somepony I know is watching us..." he mentioned as he followed Daring Do and Darkfreeze.
"Somepony watching?" Daring Do asked quite curiously. "Who do you think it is Spirit Dew?"
Spirit Dew felt a calm chill through his body. "I don't know for sure... when I find out for sure I'll tell you."

"So.... You saw him too......" DarkFreeze said, trailing off "Spirit.... I'll tell you who he is after dinner... for now, lets just enjoy ourselves." he said, taking off towards their randevouz.
When DarkFreeze, Daring, and Spirit finally got there, It was quiet. So quiet that you could hear a pin drop at the other side of town. He sighed. "Well, at least I have food at home." he said, and turned back to the group. "Well, I guess I could tell who I think that was while we get back. he started to trot, and turned. "I think that was either Nocturn...... Or an even more gruesome thought, a pony version of Discord, because nopony would be that creepy." said DarkFreeze, hiding his true thought.
