So I played Starcity Tampa today, and seriously the only deck I feel like I can never beat is Maverick. Maybe it's because I'm playing U/R Delver, but no matter what I do I don't feel like I'm getting an edge.

You'll need to be a bit more specific. Maverick isn't a deck archetype.

Yea, it is actually. A green white Green Sun based deck, with many specific silver bullets.

The Starcity deck archives yields this deck as an example of the Maverick archetype at the Tampa event.

Is this what you're talking about?

It looks sort of midrangey for Legacy which may be your problem. Midrange generally beats aggro fairly effectively.

That deck is kinda different than most versions of Maverick since it splashes both blue and red. This is the more traditional version, and I lost to this guy during this same event.
