Ok, I don't know if this really goes here or not if it doesn't I'am sorry.
It wasn't to long ago that I discovered my feelings were changing. My thoughts, my life, and my own world was beggining to shape in such a way that felt unfamiliar to me. It was on february 21 that I felt my life was about to change. I was offered to go out of town with my friend and his mom...for some odd reason the thought just popped into her mind. On our way to the next town I seen a hawk flying over a valley. The hawk only appears when something big is about to happen in my life, at that time I felt it must be something important. I thought on it for a while then let it go. When we came to the place we were wanting to be we went to a book store and I had found two books that looked interesting. One book I had wanted before and another I felt this strange calling to, like a calm sorta feeling. I picked the book I had just found over the book I wanted. Shortly after I did that and left the store I felt my life had changed and my path took a new place in life. With this new feeling I felt very weak due to the fact that we had been walking in the store for about an hour or two. On our way back home I felt as if someone had told me to get the book. (One of my friends often reconmends books for me to read that could help me) I felt as if I had been told to get it but I wasn't exactly sure what or who. I found out that it could possibly be my inner self reaching out to me. I feel this path is imortant, I stopped helping people online because of this. I had been so emotionally stressed that I just couldn't do it any longer. I sent emails to all my friends saying I couldn't do it for a while until I figure out this situation. I have arranged a meeting with a psychic on the first of next month which will be sometime next week. I feel that this book and going to see the psychic will help in my path for the answers that I seek. If any of you have anything to add that would be great. I would like some other opinions on this subject. Good will toward Terra and blessed be to you all!

I think the meaning of life is to continue to learn and grow. In other words, progress. You could look at it as a test. We have a definite time clock, our sun will burn out. Our goal is to lead the rest to succeed long after that time. Thankfully we have billions of years.

gayzilla I think the meaning of life is to continue to learn and grow. In other words, progress. You could look at it as a test. We have a definite time clock, our sun will burn out. Our goal is to lead the rest to succeed long after that time. Thankfully we have billions of years. Thats an interesting way of thinking of it but don't you think that since our purpose might be to learn then we may come back for more then just one life time and live in other galaxies besides this one? I mean after all the universe is just not focused on this solar system and my very well allow other life forms in differnet parts of it. It may take thousands of years but I would think since the universe is endless and our souls last forever, I would think that truly we would visit other parts of the universe in different life times. May sound crazy to some people but, I have had visits from creatures most would think to be in dreams or a, "fantasy world" which in most cases people think of as just imagionation. In my personal experance, there is no such thing as imagionation because everything that is had to come from some type of mind to make it reality. I also think that our souls are infinite in every way possible and that these bodies we are in are just vessels for our learning experance. I'am on a path not to find the meaning of life but a path to find who I truly am beyond this form. I think it is very interesting of the things I have incountered and things others have as well. Most people just look at it as made up but I think if we can think things and make them reality then there must be a more deeper way to think about all of this.

From my findings, the meaning of life is (or has to do with) learning. All organisms considered living recieve, transmit, and process information, and thereby learn on some scale. To what reelvance this hands depends on your perspective of the universe.
I would address the topic creator's original poitns, but right now, all I see is a big ol' block o' text, and I'm very tired. xp

The Meaning of life, Accidental Survival. We are a random event that happened in the universe, and through a series of events we became the 2nd most dominant species in our planet, second to Germs.

inwardly my meaning is constant discovery, to taste and savor each moment.
outwardly it is to be kind and generous, and not to indulge my selfishness and violence.

There is no one universal meaning of life, for we are all different lives. We each contribute our talents to creation. In so doing, we make existence thrive and perish and thrive again. For me personally, I find my purposes to be inspiration, creation, healing, and counseling.

I don't think life has a meaning except to follow ones own path. Mine, for example, is manipulation and control.

ComradeRedFerret The Meaning of life, Accidental Survival. We are a random event that happened in the universe, and through a series of events we became the 2nd most dominant species in our planet, second to Germs. Germs aren't a species. They include two whole Kingdoms of organisms. By species, we are way farther down than 2nd most dominant. We're so close to last, we don't even place. Anyways, the meaning of life to me so far is to just enjoy it. Why not? If I find anything else about life in my experience I'll see if I can tell you it. P.S. I just though of another one. I would like to be remembered. Here's a quote for y'all: "Those who tread softly Leave no footprints" -Anonymous

The thing about this post is that there is no right or wrong answer. smile Lol, I love it when that happeneds. I put it up cuz I wanted to see what others thought, it seems that we all have our own path we follow in life and whatever we see the meaning for our life then it is purly that. The universe works in all ways. I think its very interesting of the answers here. Post more if you so will.

I believe that life is meaningless, and think that asking such questions is a waste of time. There's no force driving you to pick out certain books. There are no signs and no quests. It's just life.

Sylphi I believe that life is meaningless, and think that asking such questions is a waste of time. There's no force driving you to pick out certain books. There are no signs and no quests. It's just life. The purpose of life its self is what you choose it to be. That is why that others purposes are hardly ever the same. For some, it is to just watch or learn. With that you grow and evolve into a more better soul and see things more differently then you did before. Life is one big maze and you incounter good and bad and the purpose of it all depends on you.
