I honestly don't know what to say here. XD
I just thought that I'd say hi first!
And alsooo, I wanted to get to know you all~ C':
So, is there anything that you all have a passion for?
There are so many things out there that I may have never heard of, so please do share!
After all, "sharing is caring"~!!!
My passion would be art. To make it more clear, I absolutely love digital and traditional "anime-based" drawings. XD Those are what i'm most passionate about.
And this also brings me to fashion! I like to design and attempt to make clothing.
This has just become something I adore!
Of course, making these clothes is the most difficult part..
I have absolutely no background with sewing machines and sewing in general. > w<;;
I have made something simple, but it took me forever to get done..
Of course, I will be continuing! Practice makes progress! <3
And so, what about everyone else? c':
I'm sure there's something you are passionate about!
How about running? Biking? Cooking? There has to be something!

The one thing I'm passionate about is writing. I've gone through stages in my life where I've become completely reclusive due to being engrossed in a particular section of my writing. Honestly, I doubt I'll ever get anywhere with it because I'm too particular about who reads what and too worried about what others would think. But writing lets me sort my thoughts. I've been writing one particular story since I was in 7th grade. I'm now a freshman in college. I'm on my fourth time rewriting it, about halfway through it, and cry every time I think about finishing the story. Embarrassing? Probably a little. But the fact is that I'm more of a writer than I am anything else.

Thank you for sharing! I used to draw all the time, landscapes and abstracts mostly. I guess I only did it because I was passionate about distraction from my depression, as evident by the fact that I now seem to have lost my passion and talent for art. xd I guess it's just one of those things...
Anyway, I've remained passionate about Psychology, cooking, and writing. I seem to have evolved from writing odd poetry to really having a knack for writing essays, articles, and letters. Maybe someday I'll finally write that novel I've been dreaming of... I do so love to write! I'm also very passionate about reading, helping others, and spending time with my family. I never used to care for knowing the people I grew up with, but now I have a better appreciation for them and I spend nearly every weekend with them. I've become interested in a new hobby lately - a form of needlework known as tatting. I hope to eventually get good enough at it to weave my own doilies and eventually lace to accent my clothing.

ErinTringa The one thing I'm passionate about is writing. Ooooh! Writing! c': That's awesome that you still have something connected from 7th grade! Hehe. And it's fine. I love writing, but not as much as you, I'm sure. > w< I'm not all that good and I'd never let anyone read my writing. I'm an artist, as you know. ;'D But yeah.. Ah! Now that you've reminded me... I have my old poem book from 7th grade. Ooooh. It's such an embarrassing book for me. XD Old writing AND drawings. I can't believe I was sooo! stuck up back then. @_@ Mah, it's great that your passion is writing. c': Maybe, some day, you'll be able to share even a little bit to others! Hehe.

I finally got to the point where I was willing to share my writing to people I was close to in real-life, like my boyfriend and my best friend (granted, my best friend sorta fell out of my life though >.>), and I think that maybe if I get enough confidence... just maybe I'll share my writing more. I keep trying to talk my sister into me writing a kids' book and her illustrating it. I've got one underway right now, but I dunno if she'll take me seriously when I ask her to illustrate it xD

But it's great that you have MORE passions! I wish I could cook. I'm just naturally a cooking disaster. XD NEVER let me in the kitchen.. Honestly, you'll find me making burnt brownies(the ones you have in the packages?)... And salty cookies. And bland foods... >A>;; Nearly blew up the kitchen as well... And accidently got some paper towels on fire. .___.'' Psychology has been an interest for me, though I haven't tried anything pertaining to it. XD I want to take a class for it.. but... Yeah. XD'' I need to get all the credits necessary before anything else. :'o At first, I thought tatting was... for tattoos? XD'' Oh, what a fail for me! And that seems so interesting! Kira, thank you! I do not use any websites for reference on tatting, but I will try to find some if you are interested in learning. smile I miss drawing, but I have so much else to focus on since I got married. My priorities and attitude shifted when I found my husband. He has Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy and we went through a very long court battle with his parents to even be allowed to tie the knot. After that, I just don't have it in me to focus on art. I barely have it in me to focus on my homework these days and I'm not even halfway to getting my Bachelor's Degree. I would usually rather shut the world out and forget responsibilities just to spend the day with my husband without interruptions. I left my old self behind when I took on the role of Wife. I never lost my passion for cooking because my husband encourages me and I haven't lost my passion and drive for school (and especially for Psychology) because my husband pushes me to keep working. He has no understanding of Psychology and no real interest in it, but he always asks me to explain and teach him as I learn, which really helps me keep going. I think I would've given up on everything, perhaps even life, if I had lost him in that court battle. I won him and lost all my friends and any hope of having a working relationship with my in-laws.... I have a new appreciation for time and family, but it cost me a lot including some of my previous passions.

My passion i would say is art. sketching and painting has always been my thing. But i also love to cook! I like the thought of people eating my hard work. and my gf doesnt mind either! haha

I have enjoyed reading everyone's posts. All of you have great passions.
Scarlet: I especially think that you are a woman of great passion, love, devotion, and integrity.
My passion is animals. I love all kinds of animals. Dogs are the ones that I have in my household because I have a small house. And they are easier to keep with small wages. smile But if their is a way in which I can better an animals life then I will. I have adopted animals before such as a wolf. I've taken in animals off the street and found them homes.
Writing is a past passion, I use to write every day. Didn't matter if it was a story or poetry. But some where my voice got lost.
I like History, love nature and believe it or not I am beginning to grow a real liking for cooking. Not sure if it has hit passion yet.
Helping people whenever possible. Especially the elderly. I believe they deserve more respect than they receive on most occasions. We could learn a lot from those older than us if we'd just listen, they have a lot of great stories to tell.

Animals are amazing! > w< I love them as well but my household has a strict "NO PETS ALLOWED" /law/. XD'' So... But I always offer to take care of my family and family-friend's pets! C': I personally only get along with dogs. Q_Q All other animals hate me, it seems. =A=;;; And yes. I agree. The elderly really do not get as much respect as they should. :' Lately, I've seen people push the elderly out of the way or yell and curse them. It's disgusting to see this. >_<;; I've gotten my brother to respect our grandparents, because before he'd always just yell and disrespect them. :'/ Ah! And honestly, I want to be an environmentalist... Even if it's helping out with fundraising for organizations or learning some things and passing it along... I think the Earth is becoming less beautiful because we just trample all over it. Actually, I think a lot of what's more important (family, respect, the ground we live on) to life is being pushed away. I mean, there are some things that can't be helped in order for us to survive (as we've created more bacteria and viruses to rise due to killing off the weaker ones with chemicals and such), but there are things like lowering the heat a little and putting on a sweater or something... Or even turning the AC to a slightly higher degree... You know? :'/ Or walking a few blocks to get something from the store.. I guess we've just been born into a world where we are so used to technology and it's convenience.. I dunno. I'm ranting. But what I'm saying is that we take advantage of the things we have and don't really appreciate the things that are necessary. Eh.. I don't know if I'm making sense anymore. =A= So I'm gonna stop my rant here. XD'' (I kind of want to do more research now. Q_Q;; )

I have a huge passion for music so much so that I'm getting a tattoo of a treble clef and I'm saving up to get myself a grand piano. eek
I also passionate for modern and ancient History, I just love learning and I absorb information like a sponge absorbs water.
Lastly, I'm super passionate for reading books and playing video games just because I feel like I'm in a different reality and I can escape from my own for a bit.

But not that much. XD So I'm refraining from having any. @_@;;; And a grand piano! So expensive. Q_Q But it's great that you're saving up! C': Ahh. I'd love to be able to play instruments, but I just... can't. I don't have the patience or anything... And more than anything, my teachers from the past did not help me.
