~~~This man is Tace, also known as The Red Flower Assassin. He is 23 and a pansexual. Quiet and reserved when it comes to his 'work' Tace might not say two words to anyone depending on his mood. In reality he is a kind man who's heart is just hidden in blood of others but because most avoid him he keeps to himself. However this man has a past. A past that starts with blood and ends with it.
His mother is unknown to him but his father told him that she died. In truth she was killed right after Tace was born. Tace was a child born to do one this: Kill. His father trained him to be an assassin,a killer, murder, a monster. Tace was an excellent student and showed no mercy in the jobs his father sent him on,killing innocents and guitly people.As a calling card he would always leave a red flower on thier bodies. At 16 his traning was over and he killed his father in the most brutel of manners then left. Tace is now a wandering killer with little laws. Sometimes he will kill for just needs or rob but not often. He works as a killer for hire and has no perment home. He wanders from place to place and doesn't stay long.~~~
~~~~~~~ So Far~~~~~~~ Tace is a man alone, living in society but not a try part. He walks the roads of this world with nothing but the clothes on his back and a sword by his side. HIs travels take him everywhere to places new and old. His swords cut down those guilty and sometimes innocent. However no matter how brutel the way he kills them Tace leaves them a flower for peace in the after life. After each job he takes his payment and walks again down the roads, in search for more and the place he will one day he might call home.

 Yukiro Name: Yukiro (No last name as he isn't upper class) Age: 11 Likes: Open spaces, silence, having someone to look up to Dislikes: Death, blood, war and fire Story: Yukiro was the third born child to an a farmer's wife who actually had an affair with a kabuki actor. The family was poor because the farmer didn't do well and the wife spent all her money on sex with kabuki actors. Of course, the father wasn't innocent either as he had a thing for seeing geisha. The boy grew up, mostly alone, and the age to 11, the wars raged on and swept across his land, taking the only family he had, even if they weren't the best. Yukiro, by some miracle, survived this event and lives in the rubble of the town that once was. Other: Yukiro has a scar on his leg and extremely allergic to bee sting!

"Come here Yukiro," Tace said. He picked the boy up and carried him on his back. They had been walking for about a day now and he knew his feet hurt, he was hungry, and tired. He was as well but never showed his pain around him. "we are almost there and then you can rest. I'll try to find you some shoes too." His last pair had been too old and worn out so Tace had gotten ride of them. Since he had found Yukiro among the burning remains of his home; he had cared for him. Tace could have passed the boy up and left him for dead but at his age he was small, sitting target for anyone. Couldn't leave him alone.
War had broken thier once peaceful home. While Yukiro was left without his family, Trace was left without a true path now. Now a killer for hire his work took him from place to place so they were never in one place long. Though he did his best to shield the young boy from it, he knew that he knew what he did what he did with his sword.
The sun was setting when they walked into a small little village. Tace went about finding them a place to stay. He found a small inn and got a room for the night. Tace put Yukiro down on the bed.

 Yukiro It had been a long journey already for the boy, from the day that he lost his family to the very moment he was now in. He remembered the scene, the fire, the blood and all of the screaming. He hid and cowered in a fear, and in the end, was still alive. Granted, his hair and skin was singed and his legs in not so good of shape, but he was alive, and for that he was grateful. Before Tace came, he had no idea what was going to happen to him. He had spent the last couple of hours in his town trying to find what little things remained to survive, and yet, he still ended up sitting in the crumbled structure of his former home, crying. His family may have not loved him as much as the neighbors kids were loved, but they were still his family... Then he had come along, Tace, Yukiro's hero and rolemodel. He was so tall and even in the boy's time of fear, he was comforted by this stranger, this stranger he now called a friend. "Tace, where are we going next?" he asked as they go to the Inn. He was use to moving around a lot, and he knew it was because Tace had to work, and yet the boy still kept a blind eye to what it was his role-model did for a living. He didn't want to think anything bad about Tace, so he ignored hints that lead him to his conclusions of Tace being not as sweet to other people as he was to him. "Some day can we stay in one place for a while?" he asked remembering how life was before, stable with his week legs not having to struggle as much to move from place to place. It wasn't that Yukiro didn't enjoy getting to see the world, he just wasn't in any condition to do so. His lets were weak and his stomach was killing him. He was tired and felt like at any moment his soul could slip right out of his body. And yet, behind the surface of this boy was a hatred for war and violence. He wished he could get revenge for what happened to his life. This part was kept deep in the back of his mind, his light-heartedness wanting to just keep focusing on how awesome Tace was for taking him along out of that town where he would have surely died.

"we'll be here awhile Yukiro. You need some rest." He put down the small pack he carried. It was full of food, blankets, and a few other things. "Take something to eat out and rest up. I'll return in a minute, behave and no leaving." Tace left him alone in the room. Yukiro would be fine alone for awhile and Tace never had to worry about the boy much. Yukiro normally did whatever he told him.
Tace went out among the village. The village they had landed in wasn't much like many village now but it couldn't be helped. The war had changed so much that most of the land. In some place there was still fires and fighting going on. Maybe after a few years this place like so many other would be a heaven again. He found the house he was looking for at the end of the village and went inside.
"I am looking for S." A woman took him to an old man. Tace bowed then sat down. "you have the money?" The old man pushed over a leather bag. "My grandson must be protected. The man I seek for you to deal with will be here in three days. He must not get near this house." Tace counted his payment then nodded. "understood." He got up and left.

 Yukiro Hearing those words come from the other's mouth a small smile worked it's way across the boy's lips. "Okay" he replied rather cheerfully before doing what Tace told him to do. After popping a rice cracker into his mouth the boy just watch the other leave through the window. I wonder where he is going... Of course, the boy knew better than to follow Tace. Why? He wasn't sure, he just had a feeling it was better to do as he was told... Moving his eyes back to the food, he left those darker thoughts alone. I'm sure he isn't doing anything bad... Maybe he's out helping other people like me... the boy thought to himself as he ate and drank a bit more before trying to stand up. His legs refused to move, leaving him on his tush for now. It was frustrating to the boy that he was so weak. He knew it wasn't really his own fault. He could blame it on the lack of food his family had, or his lack of experience traveling. Tace seemed to not be phased by the pain in his legs. Or did he even have pain in his legs. Yukiro didn't know, but he figured that the other was much much stronger than him anyways... Soon the boy flopped onto his back with a sigh, his messy black hair spreading around him as he stared up at the ceiling of the room. It felt so nice to just be laying down. His stomach would forgive him for resting for a little while before fulfilling it's desires completely... He had no choice, the weight pulling on his eyes were too demanding, causing lashes to meet lashes and his small jaw to drop open as he rest, chest floating up and down in his slumber.

Tace stayed only for a few more minute. " I have only one request if I don't live to complete this. There is boy in the inn right now who I care for. If I die,take care of him." The old man agreed. Tace bowed again and took his leave. Since Yukiro had been in his life, that was his new request. It use to be that his body be burned.
He went back out through the village,stopping to buy a few things before returning to the inn. Yukiro was sleeping. Tace decided not to wake him and just pulled the blanket up around him, then sat down on the floor. His eyes closed. In a matter of minutes Tace was in a light sleep, his sword across his knee.

 Yukiro Yukiro, on the other hand, was in a deep sleep by the time Tace returned. His eyes shifted beneath his eyelids as he dreamed in the back of his mind. It was a dream about that day. He had been out getting clean water from the local stream. It was far enough away that he didn't encounter anything he thought was strange, but as he walked back, there was a horrible smell... It was a smell he had smelled before after funerals... It was the smell of burning flesh. Once it registered the boy ran as fast as he could back to his town only to see that his home was burning, everyone in the town slaughtered. He dove into what was left of the home to see if anyone was still there, and there he only found cut corpses. His father had been the first to die, his throat slit. His mother was last, raped and murdered. He sat there and cried and cried in his dream, and yet, in real life, he held a pained expression on his face. Then he remembered Tace. The two stared at each other for a long time before speaking. Yukiro had been shocked and scared at the same time. It was rare that any man traveled alone anymore for fear of being killed, the other side thinking that person to be a spy. Then there was something else in his dream. Something that didn't happen. It was in the dark of a forest and they were walking when they got attacked. Yukiro was being held with a blade against his neck and before feeling the cut to his throat the boy jolted awake out of breath. He gasped a little before seeing where he was. Still his body shook with fear as he climbed off the bed, wanting to be closer to Tace.

Feeling skin brush against his Tace woke up and looked at the trembling body next to him. "Nightmare again Yukiro?" He put his arm around the boy to calm him. He wasn't much for saying anything to comfort him but his actions told Yukiro that everything was ok. Tace didn't say much the day they meet. Tace was passing through the tiny village, honestly looking anything usefull to steal when he heard crying. Then he found the young Yukiro in the burning of his home, crying over the bodies of his parents. At first he thought it would have best to kill him on the spot so that he may join his family but didn't draw his sword. Instead Tace turned and said. "If you wish to live then follow me." Then he left. Soon Yukiro was right by his side. Tace didn't care if the boy was weak or anything. For odd reason he felt like he had take care of him.
"Your nightmares will pass with time. You are still young so sooner or later new memories will replace them." Since Yukiro was up he pulled the bag over. "Here I got you some new sandles to wear." Tace handed him the shoes. There were times he thought about training the boy, teach him to be strong but the training he had been taught wasn't for Yukiro. It would kill the child. "anything else you need or want?"

 Yukiro The boy didn't say anything, just kept himself pressed against the other. His whole body was trembling, his hand holding his through as he tried to calm himself, but tears had started streaming down his face now. This was both from the fear of dying and remembering where he'd come from. Tace was all he had to survive now. Sometimes the boy wondering if he was a burden to the other. I probably am, but he'd never say that directly... this was the though that came always in regards to this topic. It was fairly normal for Yukiro to have nightmares. It was part of is post traumatic stress disorder. He didn't know how to handle everything in his life. He was too young to understand he was mentally ill and that further more, it was going to take a long time for him to get better. Finally words came out of the boy's mouth, "Tace, am I a burden to you?" his still teary eyes peered up at the other as he asked this question with the utmost sincerity. "Because I know I'm weak and everything..." and I want to be strong like you... he added the past part in his mind as he peered down and away again. It was almost embarrassing to the boy, how weak he was. He knew it was because he never ate right. He didn't have much in the way of muscle, let alone body fat. He just had bones and skin... and hair, long black hair that never seemed to stay untangled.

 Tace shook his head as he did his best to comfort the trembling boy. "You are not a burden, not even close to one. Just need to grow strong." He lifted the light body into his lap and let him lay his head on his chest. "If you want the bitter truth, if you were a burden I might have killed you that day i found you. Right now Yukiro you are just scared. The war is over now and soon you will forget everything." He told the boy that often. The war had done much to not only the land but the people as well. Tace had learned to harden himself since childhood to such things but he knew the boy in his arms haven't. He slipped the sandales onto Yukiro's feet. They fit him. "When I know you are ready, I will teach you thing or two about being strong but not now. You are still not well enough right now though."

 Yukiro It made him feel like he was worth something, hearing these words from some one he admired so much... Granted, the boy's mind never really put Tace in the roll of a killer, even though it was the reality of the situation. Yukiro really didn't even see that side of his friend. All he saw was someone he wanted to become. He wanted to be tall and strong like Tace, and to know what he was doing all the time. He wanted to be able to handle himself rather than be carried because his legs were too weak... He didn't want to keep being like he was now, but the reality of the situation was that he was still a child and couldn't expect to be that strong based on his previous diet and so on. "When can I start learning?" the boy asked peering up at his friend as he flexed his toes in the sandals. They fit quite nicely, but it was a wonder how long they would last if the two kept traveling like they were before.

"When you are stronger now. Yukiro you still have a way to go before even thinking about picking up a sword. Just focus on getting stronger now." Yace patted his head. Yukiro needed to put on some weight and at most be able to stand on his own to feet before any kind of training. "Just remember with this sword comes alot of paths. Know which one you want to take." He looked up at the window. It was still light out so there was stilll time.
Tace picked up Yukio and put him back in the bed. "You rest up and eat. I know you only nibbled on your food. I will be back. And wash up. There is a bath down the hall but be carefull. See you in a few minutes." Tace gave him another pat on the head before picking up his sword and leaving. He went to the edge of the village, lended against a tree and waited for his target.
