ｉ ｈａｖｅ ａ ｆｅｗ ｍａｒｋｓ ↯- - - On his lower back, he has a tattoo of the Japanese Kanji for "cursed" in black ink.
ｓｏｍｅ ｈｏｌｅｓ ｔｏｏ ↯- - - Yuu has two gauges on his tongue; the one on the back is a wider gauge, and it's black. The one on the front is smaller, but silver. They are about half an inch apart. On his ears, he has three piercings in the cartilage apiece. The one on top and on the bottom are silver hoops only large enough to allow a chain onto it to connect the hoops. His third piercing is a long silver hoop that is close to the ear and extends a quarter of an inch along his ear. His piercings are the same in each ear.
ａｎｄ ａ ｄａｒｋ ｌｉｔｔｌｅ ｓｅｃｒｅｔ ↯- - - Due to things that he hasn't been able to talk about, Yuu hasn't spoken in his entire time at the camp (7 years). He doesn't seem to notice people, and ignores interacting with them.

ｊｕｓｔ ｓｏｍｅ ｉｎｆｏ ｆｏｒ ｙｏｕ．．．
Yuu was born in Japan in Nagoya. He always enjoyed going to the fountains, and would sit for hours. He watched people go by, he watched others dance there. He loved to watch and observe more than anything. Eating an ice cream bar or buying a soda, he could observe until the sun went down. In the mountains, he would find Japanese demons and monsters, but never found himself afraid of the Kitsune, Tanuki, or Okami that lurked all over. He made a friend of a Kitsune spirit that was bright, snowy white, and it followed him all over. Not that anyone could see it anyway, as it sat on his shoulder, its six tails swaying in the air.
At the age of eight, his mother taught him how to bleach his hair, and he started to do it because it was a stylish difference, he thought. He took up playing card games as well, inspired by watching a few people play Poker and Blackjack shyly. He was never a very outgoing person, always a little shy.
When he was nine years old, he was coming home with his kitsune friend, whom he had named Shiroyuki ( "White Snow" ), when he saw things following him. Things he had never seen before. His friend kept an eye on them as he went into his home. To this day, no one knows what he saw in that house that made him forever mute. A week later, his mother had him sent to New York, where a crippled man waited to pick him up. He took him to Camp Half-Blood without problems. The kitsune followed him. The man could see the kitsune, and realized when Yuu wouldn't go into the boundaries when Shiroyuki couldn't get in, that he had to grant a permission for the kitsune. When that was all done, he was herded into the Hermes cabin.
He has not spoken a word since, but has developed his own way of communicating during card games, which confuses some people when they try to play Pinochle, poker, or blackjack with him. However, he never cares about anyone else's problems really. He is far too lost in his own world.
After a week, at nine years old, he was claimed by his father, Triton, and moved into his cabin, never once speaking or complaining.
