How does your family feel about your practice?
And what does hedgecrafte mean to you? What do you use for going over the hedge and why do you want that to be part of your wedding?
My parents are aware of my beliefs and are neutral/ mildly supportive. However my extended family (as well as his) are strict Christians, who don't know about what I think (which is why I am going for subtle).
I frequently use meditation as a vehicle in my practice. I love feeling close to nature, gardening and using herbs. I am also not big on planning and my practice tends to be more spontaneous. I believe in a universal energy, that can be worked with to achieve goals. I want to raise some of that energy at my wedding because it is so important to me. I also want the ceremony to have personal significance and not just be going through the motions. I would also love to show my appreciation to the universe/God/Goddess
heart I am planning on using specific herbs and flowers as decorations... but that is the only idea I have come up with so far.
