Doesn't look very aggro

More aggro than UW tends to be. Occasional 5th turn kills with this deck. Mirran Crusader with an Angelic Destiny hits hard. Or a Geist with it forces the same clock.

Aggro by definition means winning through shear aggression of creatures. RDW showcases this by just being fast. Elves showcase this by an explosion of creatures.

Truth it fits the bill of midrange aggro more than pure aggro.

I'm guessing the idea behind the deck was Solar Flare that can win without the cuteness?

The original idea behind it was abusing Sundial of the Infinite. Had various effects in it originally like another Venser, Glimmerpost Stag, Kor Skyfisher. Just seemed to win more games off of Sun Titan + Phantasmal Image. Add in the fact that they changed the rating system, making it so that it was very profitable to play in FNM and I was forced to 'play to win' for byes at GP: Seattle in March 2012.
Just added other cards as they came around or as I heard about them. Having actually played the original Solar Flare back during Time Spiral, I don't really see the connection.

Meh, I don't name the decks. Though Angel of Despair is much better than these targets...

There used to be a few house rules around here that were immediately discontinued when I used Owling Mine. Only one house rule exists locally, one implemented by myself, 'free' mulligans when playing casually.

It's not bad. I mean Phantasmal Image, Mirran Crusader and Blade Splicer are among the best creatures in the format; and they've gotten even better when you look at the line up of creatures that are still good against undying stuff and all the removal available.
However it looks "confused" to me, you've got a TON of aggressive guys that come down fast and then slow classic control win conditions like Jace, Memory Adept were it'll take some time but he'll finish the game for you once you have board control.

I would try to pick fast or slow if you're looking to improve. Either way it's not going to come out as a "clean" decklist just because of the lack of "good" cards that allow you to draw right now. Plus that combine with creatures getting harder to remove sometimes a good body is better than removal.

Either way you go, Dungeon Geists I think seem like a decent enough thing to try out for this deck.

If he cost 1 less mana, I'd totally run him.

Yeah I know what you mean, I want to like him so much more than I do. 4 cost just feels slow and "cumbersome."
On the plus side though he takes care of problems like titans and is a really terrible Phantasmal Image target for your opponent (plus he can kill the Image if they already took a more valuable target.)

Now this it's not your colors but here's what I would be running if I didn't work during gaming hours (it's at a gaming store ironically.)

3x Faithless Looting
4x Galvanic Blast
3x Geth's Verdict (or maybe Go for the Throat depending)
3x Black Sun's Zenith
4x Mana Leak
2x Dissipate
3x Think Twice
4x Forbidden Alchemy

2x Phantasmal Image
3x Snapcaster Mage
4x Dungeon Geists
2x Olivia Voldaren
1x Massacre Wurm

Side board may have a few more counters, artifact hate, and another Massacre Wurm and Ratchet Bomb for tokens.
Also the one main Massacre Wurm could be a Sheoldred, and you could try fitting in a Simulacrum or two in as well if you can find the deck space.

Anyway I brought that up because I think it does everything your BUW wants to do, without using aggrow stuff because of the fact it's better than any early game slow control options in the format.

I want to swing with creatures a lot in a color scheme that generally doesn't do that. That is what the purpose of the deck has become. Plus the fact that I have to get my rounds done in 30 min. or less. Simply so we can run more rounds. Hate having to cut them short due to the shop closing. Also I am of the opinion that true control has no place in FNM where people come to 'have fun' playing magic which is why I don't run any counter spells other than the fact that it slows my deck down.
