I dont think orochimaru is dead. I think he might take over kabuto's body because if he was working with the real madara and survived an attempt to kill itachi for his eye he has to be powerful. And kabuto is weak couldnt even control madara or itachi. Orochimaru controlled the first and second hokagea!

Orochimaru help plant the first homage cells into multiple bodies e.g. Yamato, real madara and maybe even danzou....orochimaru has to have a back up if he knew or thought sasuke would not give up his body. Thoughts anyone?

I'm 90% sure he's not dead-Kabuto even hints to Orochimaru trying to take over his body. Also, he's looking more and more like Orochimaru every time we see him, and the fact that Kabuto's features are still present really irks me. I want Orochimaru to come back already it's boring without him!!!
Even those of you who hate him have to admit it was more exciting when he was involved simply because there was a plot that just kept turning, and there were always those moments you stare at the screen and go "No way! He should never have been able to do that!" Yet as the manga/anime moved on, you realize these people aren't just strong, they're incredibly intelligent, yet human anough that what they do is easy for us to understand once it's explained-or even before.
That's how a ninja plays the game. Not all-out war. They're not ninjas anymore. They're soldiers, mindless killing machines. That's all. crying Naruto died with Orochimaru. crying
