Ϻ ɑ ɳ σ r --- »t h e m i k a i n m a n o r t e a h o u s e-~--☀--~-t h e m i k a i n m a n o r t e a h o u s e---------- The Manor Proper:: - ↓ ------In comparison to the lighter feeling of the Teahouse, Mikain Manor takes on a somewhat darker air. Previously staffed by a Butler and Maid, the mansion is still meticulously clean, and incredibly spacious, though the decor is dark, and with good reason, considering the former Mistress of the House. The rooms that can be counted among the manor are the Library, the Training Room, the Bath House (which is a large room with more of a hot spring than a simple bath), 5 Guest Bedrooms, the Sitting Room, the Game Room, the Kitchen, the Basement, and finally, the Master Suite.
------All of these rooms are well decorated in darker or more neutral colors, many with a decidedly Celtic influence to them. Hidden further in the house, with a single door accessible to it from only the Training Room, aside from a direct stairwell down from the Master Suite, is the Laboratory. Here, Ciara experiments with any number of things from herbs to magical spells. Technology of a militaristic kind is not her 'cup of tea' and so one won't find anything of that nature inside, though there is a rather elaborate 'herb' garden contained within, with a number of exotic plants.
------Behind the manor are the Gardens, which are surrounded with a combination of wrought iron fencing and brick. From the Laboratory, there is a direct escape route into the Gardens near the back fence, accessible via a set of Teleportation runes. The runes are attuned to Ciara's blood, which must be spilled in order to operate. Anyone attempting to activate the runes otherwise will find themselves dropped and dunked in the water surrounding Library Island. ---------- The Master Suite :: - ↓------The Master Suite is actually a lot plainer than one would expect, separated into a bedroom area, a half-bath, and a 'play' room, wherein are contained some objects of questionable and perverted origin. This area is kept locked, and the bedroom area has no actual windows, with heavy doors which can be closed to keep light filtered out when Ciara is sleeping during the long hours of the day. ---------- Notice :: - ↓------The manor currently stands empty, as Ciara has opted to instead move into the less luxurious but more welcoming housing complex that was constructed at the back of the estate. While some areas of the manor are still restricted, the rest of the manor is typically used for entertaining guests of import, keeping certain secrets, a secret, and looking nice, albeit fairly empty. It is also inside the manor that Ciara houses any large parties. w e l c o m e t o t h e m i k a i n m a n o r a n d t e a h o u s e e n t e r a n d e n j o y t h e

She walked in, wondering if Ciarla or Ciardha were even around. She sighed, and glanced at Nodoka. "Sorry for just pulling you along with me, but I suddenly really didn't want to stick around after what just happened." She said, shaking her head. "It's easier to have a civilized talk here too, anyway." She added, before turning to the maid and asking if anyone was actually around right now. The maid bowed slightly as Yue and Nodoka entered. "Mistress is gone for the time being, though she should have left a resonant echo in her paradise. Let me escort you both there." She turned and motioned for the girls to follow her up the stairs. "I'm not sure where Ciardha-san is. He rarely stays at the manor."

"A-Ah! N-No it's alright, really. I wasn't exactly feeling comfortable there either ..." Nodoka was just as happy as Yue to get out of there. While Yue had been the one more victim to the others' antics Nodoka wasn't exactly enjoying it either, especially with Haruna going a bit more eccentric. If it hadn't been Yue it would have been Nodok for sure. "You had something to talk about to someone here as well right?" Nodoka recalled hearing her mention something, well Yue mostly likely did. She had gone through training and such already. Nodoka followed along with Yue and the maid who was showing them the direction towards that place there were in this morning, the one where time moved differently compared to the real world.

Listen to the great, and powerful Paru Sama! (enters) Haruna had a evil grin over her face as she hovered behind with with her hands out stretched with what appeared to be a convenient store meat bun in her mouth. Without warning she grabbed Yue into her sinister arms as she inhaled the meat bun in her mouth to be able to talk to Yue. "Qestion the great Paru-sama's sanity will you?!" Haruna began to pinch on Yue's face still excited from her fateful encounter of her new dangerous, and even more busty equal. As Haruna held on to Yue delivering her unforgivable punishment she began to point to Nodoka "And you! You were not comfortable enough?!" . Without warning again Haruna charged toward Nodoka with Yue still in her arms like a rag doll being dragged stuck on a race car. Haruna swung her open arm wide, and snatched up Nodoka as she held Yue close to allow her to see her look of fear inside of her arms "Well then Nodoka! Let me fix that for you!". Haruna began to pinch, tickle, and torment Yue as well as Nodoka for a couple of minutes until they were using every fiber of their being to struggle free. Haruna let them go as a proud, an rather trumpet look was on her face as she crossed her arms "Ok then Yue, and Nodoka! I FORGIVE you both! No need to ask for forgiveness! The great Para Sama is all merciful, and forgiving!" . She placed her mouth over her hand as a sinister snicker could be heard coming from her lips with a evil grin staring at Yue, and Nodoka being her victims of her mercy once again.
As Haruna stop laughing she looked around the manor, and how calming the entire estate was. She paused despite how energetic she usually was then turned around to stare at Yue, and Nodoka. "It's still so unreal isn't it? I mean when the three of us became best friends I promised all of you I would always have your back right?". As Haruna stared at them a grin took over her face "Still! Who could have seen this happen?! Magic! Myths now real! Scary enemies! And now this person named Ciardha going to help us become even stronger!" Haruna stared at Yue, and Nodoka as she gave them a huge thumbs up with that grin still across her face "Still got a feeling I might not be cut out for magic! But!" She paused as she pulled out that pactio she got before with her spare hand "Maybe this will be able to be of great help right?! I mean if something beyond us deemed me! Your great, and powerful Para Sama! Worthy of this artifact it means I should be able to do great things with it right?!". After Haruna stopped speaking she walked to the middle of the two of them, and placed her hand out. Haruna stared at Yue, and Nodoka hoping they would place their hands together with her as well. "We will overcome this Yue, and Nodoka! We been together this long, and we will see this though until the end! I know in my heart I will suck at magic, but with what I have in my hands I will be able to create something powerful enough to help save all our hides in the heat of it all!" "Quit, Paru-sama." Yue said, struggling to escape her grip. Damn, she always wondered where Haruna got that kind of upper body strength, really.
Yue brushed herself off as they all seemed to calm down a bit. "I don't think you two have really officially met Ciardha-sama except for seeing him last night.." There also wasn't gaurantee he'd train these two. Maybe. But like Endham said, his own alignments were pretty...much laid out on the table, and he struck Yue as the type to only do as he liked when he personally saw fit. Not that it was a bad thing, at least he was helping her for teh time being and not trying to push her into a ditch. The maid would finally allow them into the paradise through the external gateway. Waiting for them was Ciara, or rather, a very shadowy version of her. While they'd started to initiate it, things had gotten kind of crossed, and then events in the morning had prevented her from consummating her pactio with either of them.
Nodoka had seemed adamant about no kiss, but Paru had been fine with that option, which privately made her chuckle. The girl was fearless, and that was something that could eventually turn her into a great mage. She admired that sense of certainty that others sometimes displayed.

The girls wouldn't have to wait long, actually. When Ciara's image showed up, there was a silence that descended over the area, all before a pillar of black and violet fire formed in the center of the room. The pillar took on the shape of four-winged black bird of prey, most likely by the look of it a phoenix. The fire settled and shifted inward after the outburst, and took the form of Ciardha. He knew how to make an entrance. For now, he was in his 'casual' state. A purple silk shirt, black pants, black leather boots. His hands were gloved, his throat adorned with a silver necklace that had four talismans hanging from it. He was holding what looked like mail. One piece of mail was rather unusual looking though. It was a pink envelope with a shiny crescent moon sticker holding it shut. There was delicate calligraphy script underneath the sticker, as well. The script spelled out a single word that would probably send shivers up anyone's spine that knew the name.
'Tsukuyomi'.
He quietly handed Yue the adorable looking letter, while he set the rest of the mail down. From there, he looked over the three girls and sighed. What a pain. Tsukuyomi had him delivering mail for her now. When did he become the messenger? Ah well, he hadn't shown any of them just what he could really do, so it was just as well. The only reason he was even helping Chao was so the fight at the end would be interesting, and to make sure that any 'powers' didn't overstep their bounds. This battle belonged to the youth. It was this generation's fight. Of course, there were those who wouldn't see it that way, and he was going to make sure they didn't get in the way of the children. Those like him, those who lived beyond the bounds of humanity, would be stopped cold.
"Ladies. Good to see you. Yue, that came from an adorably creepy girl in glasses. She insisted I give it to you. You know who I'm talking about. In any case, once you're done reading your mail, I'm going to start showing you something you're probably not ready for yet. But there isn't a lot of time, even with the temporal shift of the paradise. I'm going to teach you most of what I have to teach, and Nodoka the rest. I don't think Haruna has the right attunement for it. Though, she might be able to benefit from other magics I know; but these aren't her style."

Busy huh? She nodded to Ciarla. "Actually...I am." She confirmed, before...well, he showed up.
Yue looked as Ciardha appeared from a phoenix shaped pillar of fire. Well. That was...flashy, all right. Yue turned to him as he handed her something. For some reason, just the appearance of the color pink made Yue's stomach feel uneasy. She extended her hand and took the envelope. She almost didn't, when she saw the name. This...again... She frowned, looking at the envelope for a moment. She wasn't even going to ask why he was giving her this letter for her.
"I...yeah, I know." She said quietly, nodding to him. So he really would teacher her today then? She was glad she decided to come today, then. She glanced at Nodoka. She was faintly curious about what he had to show to her, but that was also Nodoka's business. Yue took a few steps away from her friends, though she was blatantly aware the both of them were probably going to follow anyway out of curiosity, or at least from Nodoka, already knowing the image of the girl who sent her the last letter she had been so lucky to be there for. Haruna however hadn't. In fact, Yue had neglected to tell Haruna anything about Tsukuyomi being after her, but...
She slipped her thumb under the envelope's lid, as if she was really contemplating if she wanted to remove the sticker and open it. But, she did. The sticker slowly separated from the body of the envelope as she opened the letter inside, careful like she was handling some sort of bomb. ⋎ ⋎ ⋏ ⋏ ████ ▌▌████⇧████ ▌▌████ Know the words I speak are the thoughts I think out loud Let's leave no words unspoken and save regrets for the broken You know to keep your hopes up high and your head down low

Yue was actually kind of safe this time in a way; it was just a letter. No hologram. It was hand-written too, in a very delicate script. The girl was meticulous, that was for sure. Maybe she thought writing a letter herself was far more intimate. Either way, it seemed like the usual Tsukuyomi stuff. Things that were way too mature for public television, peppered with things that sounded like they came out of a horror movie. About four pages of it. Oddly, everything was sort of..weirdly random, even for Tsukuyomi. Some of it didn't even make sense, like the letter was saying something else. However, the worst of it though was that she was..alluding to something. It was in a lot of the writing itself, and she mentioned it from time to time. 'Three nights hence'. Or 'the turning of three single moon phases', or other flowery script about the passage of three days or nights. She spoke of meeting Yue in three days. And the way she said she'd go about it was probably, if she was to be believed, kill someone or hurt someone she knew. She didn't mention names, though. That was odd. She was normally very specific about those sorts of things.
Other than that, it didn't seem too unusual. But either Tsukuyomi had been high on something, or she hadn't taken her meds (if she even took any) that morning. Honestly, Tsukuyomi was either geting worse, or something about the letter itself just wasn't right. Had she maintained focus that long just to write a bunch of pages of nonsense? Either way, at the end of the last page, there was a lipstick mark. Obviously it was the same old Tsukuyomi. But she was stepping up her game. She'd given Yue a date of when she was coming for her. Three days. And if she wasn't there, she might hurt somebody. Or worse.
"What I'll be teaching you two is a type of 'Lost Magic'. Very few in either world know it anymore. It's called Celestial Magic. It's a more pure form of light and dark magic that calls upon the power of the stars and space to destroy your enemies. It has no alignment to good or evil; it epitomizes the void. Technically, Gravity magic is derived from Celestial Magic, though it's far more specialized. True Celestial Magic creates spatial effects, calls down blasts of energy from the stars themselves, and can form mandalas of protection, healing, or negation. While I'll be teaching Nodoka most of the defensive and prepatory mandala spells, you Yue, will be my true successor; you will learn all of Celestial Magic. I warn you though. You'll have to train hard to even get to the level you can learn the basics. Even the weakest Celestial Magic requires a graduate level spellcasting class."

Yue frowned as she read the letter, just not sure...it was four pages long, first of all. I can't tell if that's better or worse than the hologram. She thought to herself. She was taking her time reading the letter. Sometimes re-reading. Now why would she do that with a letter from a psychotically obsessed swordsgirl? Well, simple. The letter's organization, it was all...rather confusing. It was pretty clear on some obvious things she expected--which still didn't fail to make her feel incredibly uncomfortable reading, confirming this was definitely the Tsukuyomi from the first night--but it was all so...all over the place. Random, really. She sounds...worse than she did before. Now that was worrying. She sounded a lot worse, she sounded...Yue wasn't even sure if she could place a word on it right now.
She shuffled through the letter, not speaking out loud, merely in her thoughts as she examined the letters. Three days. It was mentioned so much really, if she hadn't caught it then there would have been something wrong with Yue. She had three days, three nights. Tsukuyomi was expecting to meet her then. What would happen if she decided to dodge Tsukuyomi instead? The thought had occurred to her as soon as the realization of Tsukuyomi finding Yue again struck her, the thought of trying to avoid her altogether. It was so...cowardly, really.
But things interrupted that idea. Other people. There wasn't a lot of specific detail on that. But Yue knew people. She had people. Friends. They were easy targets for Tsukuyomi. If I don't comply...I'll be putting someone else in danger. She doesn't even say who, but the possibilities... She grimaced, resisting glancing behind her at Nodoka or Haruna. None of the possibilities were things she wanted to bring upon them. Yue's eyes fell on the lipstick mark on the last page one last second, before she shut her eyes and slowly folded the four pages together like they were again, dropping the letter by her side. She wasn't...getting rid of it. She wanted to, but she couldn't yet. Yue was Yue. She had to know she wasn't too far off on her assumptions. She slipped the letter into the envelope and tucked it inside of her blazer before looking at Ciardha, whom she realized was speaking at all.
Celestial magic? Yue hadn't even ever seen reference on such a thing. Probably explaining why it was 'Lost Magic.' Just from what Ciardha explained, it sounded complicated, pretty vast. High level. And that if Nodoka wanted, he'd teach her the more defensive mandala, and Yue, pretty much what Ciardha knew. All of it, huh...train hard, complicated spells, graduate level spellcasting. Yue nodded to Ciardha. "I'll heed your warning, but I'm prepared to train as much as I need to and more to pull it off." She said. And the thing was, when Yue said something like that, she wasn't kidding. She really meant it. If there was any effort she could have been pulling into her failing school work, she was making up for it in the determination she had for learning magic. She seemed like she had a vigor for wanting to learn this, and that was because she felt that too. ⋎ ⋎ ⋏ ⋏ ████ ▌▌████⇧████ ▌▌████ Know the words I speak are the thoughts I think out loud Let's leave no words unspoken and save regrets for the broken You know to keep your hopes up high and your head down low

"Good. That's what I wanted to hear from you. And you'll need every bit of that determination, too. Unlike the training with my Shitenno, this time it's just a matter of becoming better and more skilled. It isn't about training from hell so much as it's about learning. Still, when it comes to magic, I suspect your learning capabilities are the highest in potential out of the three here. You also need a team name. I'll assign you your team name later. If you ask why..well, it's because it sounds cool! And most high class mages have titles or code names in the magic world. They usually earn them for doing certain things or using certain types of magic, and naturally with that kind of sorcery, you'll find that you earn a name for yourselves fast. While you're letting your brain settle from whatever you were reading, I'll give you the basics of explanation.
Celestial Magic is a type of origin sorcery. Among lost magics, it's one of the most ancient types as it was one of the first magics, but at the same time, it was also used a lot by higher class mages after its discovery, and hasn't been 'lost' for very long. I'd say it's been about five centuries. That may seem like a long time, but some magic world races are very long lived. A few are still more than old enough to remember it. A lot of the reason it fell out of use is because it's simply complicated. When other magics became more popular, those that were simpler, in other words, Celestial Magic fell out of favor. Its daughter magic, Gravity Magic, proved just as powerful, and just as complicated. It's why you don't see many Gravity mages either. But Gravity magic survived the centuries of transition whereas Celestial Magic didn't. Another reason is because Celestial spells have effects on the environment at higher levels.
Celestial Mandalas require a lot of setup, as well. They're not at their maximum level unless they're prepared greatly in advance, meaning the enhancing and defensive effects of such mandalas depend entirely on you being able to draw your enemy into them. Back when it was fairly well known, most mages were cautious enough to look for telltale signs of mandalas when they knew their enemy was a celestial mage. Nowadays, very few remember what to look for. I'm sure if you used that book of yours, you'd find some information on it; but most of the spells you'd find in there would be the basic ones. A beginner's mandala for graduate mages, perhaps a single offensive spell, most likely shooting stars. The records were mostly lost since all the mages that used it passed away in wars or went into seclusion. It was honestly a case of it just falling out of use because some other magic types remained more efficient. There's no denying the extreme power of it, though. Especially the highest class spells.
There are various magics that can reach the same power level if used correctly. Inevitably, Celestial Magic is best used when people aren't expecting it."

Team name, though...huh. Wait, the three of them would get a team name?
Still, it was a complicated and old magic, she could understand. It was no wonder she'd have to devote to getting better in order to really use it. She nodded. She showed a knack for absorbing what information she was given or found on magic very well. She wondered if Nodoka did really want to go along and learn the defensive mandalas, but Yue would try and see how she could help the girl however she could, if Nodoka even needed the help. She was surprisingly adapted already to her new situation, much like Yue had become, so maybe she'd be fine.
Yue's cell phone rang, thankfully after Ciardha had finished speaking, and Yue blushed a bit. They got...reception here? It was probably weak, or just not that good. Stay in here long enough, she had no doubt the reception would disappear eventually. Apologizing, Yue took the phone out to check on who it was, seeing Tony's name.
