While all the other dates where fancy and extravagant. Linda thought it would be better if they took their date down to earth, keeping it a little more grounded. Her date was at the beach. The sun was warm and water was relaxing.

Linda was a little nervous, she'd seen Quarl here before, but things outside her control were changing so fast, she wasn't sure just how well she knew him. Or even if she knew him at all. Well that was just it with these kind of charity dates.

To Linda all that mattered was having a good time.

Linda looks up form digging out a seashell, by the sea shore. She gets up brushing the sand off her legs and hands then turning to Querl.

"Hello, you must be Querl. Thank you for meeting me here. I hope it's pleasant for our date."

She smiled at him.

"The weather is beautiful, it makes the water warm, I thought we could go swimming... maybe have a late lunch?"

She motioned to the towels, and the large picnic basket sitting by thee rocks she they wouldn't get wet form the slapping water.

"Or we could just sit. And talk."

"Oh." She perked sitting on the blanket next to him.

"Wel.. hmmm."

She had to think about what to say, the wrong think and it could scare him off.

"Well I'm not from around here at all... And I just moved here. So things are pretty new for me. But it's strange. I have vague feeling that I've done this all before...even you... But somehow it's all still new and out of my control. So maybe it was all just a dream..."

So found herself lost in her thoughts and daydreaming, then she quickly snapped out of it! Opps, so much for not scareing him off!! sweatdrop Quick ask him a question!

"So what about yourself?"

"Oh the future! It all sounds so exciting! You even have your own team!"

Linda couldn't imagine what the future would look like. she could only hope it wan't barren and desolate like some of earth's movies had portrayed. Then again with someone like Querl from the future, it really couldn't be that bad.

"If your from the future, then if you don't mind my asking... what are you doing here? It all must seem so primitive to someone like you. Are you on some secret mission to save the future?"

She really did watch too many movies for her own good. She loved most of them but science fiction was the most outrageous and entertaining to her.

I do research. I study the past. I solve puzzles.

::He dug into the picnic basket. These were all obviously things she baked herself. They all looked delicious.::
