Name: Atle
Meaning: first female’ or ‘she who comes first’.

Territory: Ukeshu - Wild Rats
Personality: Despite her fairly small size, Atle is a fierce fighter with an indomitable will. A staunch supporter of the Alpha Ukeshu, she is only slightly younger than he is and has been there throughout his rise to power. She respects his strength above all else and will take a chunk out of anyone that speaks against him. Her loyalty is unmatched, though these days she doesn’t seem to have much of a sense of humour.
History: From a young age Atle proved that a strong will could conquer any obstacle. That was not her first name and was born to a weak, unranked mother in one of the further tunnels from the colony. All her siblings soon perished, but Atle lived on. She challenged life with a great ferocity and won.
As she grew older, Atle become quickly known as a female not to be messed with. She was intent on taking her place as one of the strongest females in the colony. Atle supported Ukeshu’s rise to power and has admired him from a young age. He, to her, was the ideal male; powerful and ferocious.
As she grew older and stronger, Atle cemented her place in the colony. She was given her current name and all the younger females learnt quickly to keep out of her way or they would quickly be made an example of.
Through her life Atle has birthed many young and fought many battles, and now her body is growing tired. It aches with the many wounds it has been inflicted with and she refuses to speak of her eye. It is slowly going blind, but dare to mention it and you’ll find her teeth in your flesh.
The Flood is a test that she must rise to meet. Atle is not giving up her fight anytime soon.
