"You know. When you take out my last name, they call me Blue Skies. I always wondered why I was named that. Why would you give such a peaceful name to such a chaotic creation. Sometimes....I feel like they named me just to mock me."
Blue "Skye" Tiberius, half angel, half demon, born from a white winged angel of a mother, and a difficult demon of a father. yet somehow, these two still managed to find love with each other. How? Not even Skye could ever understand. Nor could she ever understand why she even had to be born, much less the oddly light-hearted points of her own life, such as her birthday and its meaning to humans, or her own name. She was born from both her parent's DNA, which resulted in the apparent abomination that is Blue Tiberius.
She was named Blue for her eyes. Compared to her whole appearance, those blue eyes are known to be the most colorful and visual part of her. Her black and white appearance that comes with what she is, yet when you see her eyes, they stand out like eyes really shouldn't, a light blue color that just...almost doesn't fit the rest of her. Her mother said they resembled a calm blue sky when there were no other colors of the times of day cutting in. Thus her middle name became Skye, combining to make Blue Sky as her name. But to this day, Skye has never felt like she deserved such a serene name.
The events of Skye's life are hard to combine and make into a whole story to tell. When she was four, her father snapped and killed her mother. He despaired about what he did. He despaired, until eventually, he himself died, most likely from self-neglect, when Skye was six. Oddly, left alone, Skye wasn't helpless. Mental maturity progressed fast for Skye, and she was seemingly capable of caring for herself just fine. But with the positive effects of her mixed hybrid race, came the detrimental effects. She was unstable, her demon side made her irrationally angry at times or snap at others, a truly wild side that wasn't at all suited for public interaction. And then there was her angel blood, which kept her sane and in control most of the time. But the both of them combined, made for a more lethal combination then if she was just a demon, or just an angel. She learned of her attributes to both light and dark magic elements, and also consequently learned of the dangers of being able to use both at the same time.
Skye has taken lives before. Innocent lives, guilty lives, neutral lives. She's an unstable and unnaturally being, probably not even supposed to be in existence. Thus she doesn't fit in in the human world, nor the magical world, nor the demon world. She has no place in either Mundus Vetus, or Magicus, unfortunately, just as she has no place for herself mentally. She understands herself about as well as a stranger understands her on first meeting. Most people who've learned of her blood have turned on her. She sees only trouble in companionship, and assumes the worst at first sight only because she sees it as the safest approach.
Personality:
Skye is...distant. While she harbors her angel's side desire to aide someone when they truly look like they need it, at the same time she claims not to care if she makes any ties with anyone. She seems to lack any amount of trust in others, and as a result of how she tends to behave, finds it easier to remain neutral to people she meets, both out of selfish desire to keep herself sane, and out of genuine mistrust of others around her, revealing a more pessimistic opinion of anyone she meets (think of it as guilty until proven innocent). Just seeing her or placing judgement on her before actually knowing her makes it very...difficult to place a real description on how she acts.
On the other hand, there are traits of her personality derived from her mix of angel and demon blood. Her angel blood is actually what keeps her calm (though still bitter) normally, or gives her the desire of aiding others. Her demon blood is what demon blood should be. Violent, instinctual, and only wishes to bring pain and negativity. However she is also better off when it comes to staying alive, as when Skye's life is without warning put in sudden danger, she automatically shifts to demon side. And when her demon is out, it behaves like a person all itself. Skye essentially, is a walking struggle between light and darkness, thus she tends to look bipolar.
Other:
She has a pair of wings in either angel or demon dominant image. Of course, white fathered wings in angel dominance and in demon, black bat like wings. In her regular, unhidden appearance, she appears to have a tiny pair of black fathered wings that cannot be put away out of sight, which is why she hides them through magic.
Her mixed form isn't something revealed a lot. it's a purely emergency only form for stronger battles, as she's very unstable in this form and can easily go from fighting for one side, to suddenly snapping and not differentiating between friend and foe. Her magical power is multiplied, but more destructive for innocents and allies if they're near her.
She also has a cat. This demon cat keeps up a camouflage disguise to look one-tailed around others, but can drop it to reveal its real two tailed appearance. She speaks, and her name is Kimiko.
