I'm so glad Skyrim lets anyone marry that wants to! I was scared at first when I heard about the marriage capability, and scoured the internet looking to see whether or not they had done it fairly, but I was so happy to hear that marriage equality is alive and well in Skyrim!

It's too bad you can't marry anyone - and that they pretty much turn into sappy housewives/housemen. xD

Yilanti Midnight It's too bad you can't marry anyone - and that they pretty much turn into sappy housewives/housemen. xD But still, yay for equality! They keep their original professions, so they atleast are still merchents/warriors/etc. Also, atleast if you play just about anything you have a fair selection, I have a lovely Khajiit lass named Sakura that can't marry as she has no Khajiit to select... where its the equality there?! you see what happened don't you, they said "we can only be so equal opportunity in the game... so what gets cut?"

So many people have complained that they can't marry khajiit and wood elves that those will hopefully be made into options in expansion packs. My wife always plays a khajiit and wants to marry a khajiit.

Ye I didn't realize they'd left out Khajit and wood Elves - which is weird. Nevertheless, there's a good chance Skyrim will get an expansion.

I was pretty pissed off that they had no wood elves, and that the only high elf option was female.
Then I found out I could summon Lucien Lachance. At that point I decided '******** marriage, I've got a nostalgia bromance to attend to'. emotion_awesome

and i have to like, get married in secret cause i'm afraid my mother will walk in and see it happening and get angry with me...so: super late at night in the dark when she is sleeping. =[....

Why would your mom get mad? o.O Hasn't she ever seen the Sims? lol
That's one thing I envy PC players for - being able to marry anyone in the game, among other nifty little hacks.

I never played video games in front of my parents when I was a kid. I mean, when I was really young and all we had were things like Dr. Mario and Duck Hunt, there was no problem. But by the time PlayStation came out a lot of adult themes were rampant, so I get what you're saying. That's a pain.

Everyone always gives me a weird look when I say this, but I am sad that you can't marry Cicero. That crazy little Jester always makes me smile and I am so happy I kept him alive. I wish you could marry anyone, even the minute small characters, because then it would just be more realistic rather then having a specific group to marry. I also wanted to marry Brynjolf but he also isn't an option which made me sad.
