Breedings! It wouldn't be the BC without them.

Breedings currently happen once every two months. Breedings are rolled at the beginning of the month, and the raffle shall stay open for approximately 3-4 days. The number of breeding slots open each month depends on colorist schedules and demand.

Breedings cost 20k, divided however you wish between the two parents.

There are two types of breeding raffle: Open and RP. Please post the appropriate form for the raffle you're entering.

General Breeding Rules:
-- You may only have 2 rats in any single raffle at a time. This means a single breeding of your own two rats, or two breedings with other people.

-- In order to breed, your rat must be certed and listed on the parent's list.

-- You are responsible for making sure your form is filled out correctly. If there's something wrong with the form, the colorist reserves the right to re-roll

-- Rats will only inherit edits if they are genetic mutations, ie. ear and fur types. No other edits are heritable. You will need to obtain dyes for your rat-babies from the dye shop.

-- Please note that in-breeding is fine, although it may result in genetic defects if you aren't careful with your lineages

-- Teens can breed, but their litter size will be reduced by half

-- Rats must wait until their current litter is adolescent before breeding again

-- Rats can have up to 5 litters in their lifetime

RP Breeding Rules
-- You must provide three RPs for each parent. At least one of these RPs must feature the couple together showing some intent to procreate. The other two RPs do not need to feature the other parent, but can if you wish.

-- The RPs you use cannot have already been redeemed for RP perks or used in a previous successful breeding raffle.

-- If you are using any other RP perk coupons, please post them along with your raffle form.
