Dalaga vs Maya (practice)

[Dalaga Helios]

Set in the valley of screams, she had been captured in this hypothetical and is trying to escape.

Dalaga watched at first while Maya started to escape into the canyons surrounding his castle, standing on one of the towers while she broke through the lines of blanks, enjoying the silence of her struggle. His blind eye seemed to glow when she had gotten just out of sight around the bend, his longer hair whipping around in the howling wind, vanishing in the blink of an eyes to just in front of the young woman his hands hanging almost lazily by his side while he looked upon her only about five feet away.

"Miss Maya, I see you do not appreciate the company my blanks provide, perhaps I can more suit the desire for companionship you so desire."

He said not as a question but as a statement, his good eye was as cold and emotionless as the blind one, his spirit pressure leaking out lightly as though he took no threat from her, it was why he had not stripped her of her weapon, he saw no reason to.

Dalaga's hand came up and seemed to shoo the blanks away, and they scattered more fully then before, his left hand coming across and taking hold of his blades handle, not showing any more emotion then he had prior. He was once known as the hero of soul society later damned as its greatest villain, his reputation still proceeded him to this day to those with access to the files on him, his mind wandered there for a moment.

"Attack me woman, see if you may strike me down before iI do the same to you."

He said evenly while still watching the ground in front of him, his arm crossed over his chest to hold the handle of his zanpakuto, holding steady there in waiting for her.

Dalaga looked up, not turning his head in the slightest toward the woman, slowly drawing out Benka, the blade seeming to hum as it left its sheath. He waited for a moment patiently for the girl to attack him but not seeing an attack forthcoming decided to take the offensive, spinning around on his heel towards her and taking a quick step forward, stabbing his blade towards her center.

"You should of taken my offer miss Maya."

He said evenly, his eyes and voice cold as before, it seemed as though his soul had been stripped of its emotion, she would find no mercy here.

Dalaga accepted the kick with out a sound getting knocked back, his eyes centering on her finger when she started her spell, beginning one of his own. pulling his body back so that it would be aligned with itself behind a certain point.

"Bakudo eighty one: Danku"

He said as the barrier shot up at the same speed as the lighting bolt traveled, intercepting it into itself, the sparks bouncing uselessly away from its clear surface. Dalaga had shifted his feet and flash stepped to the woman's left side while she would be unable to see him due to her own attack, slashing upwards at her ribs while her arm was still raised, his right hand setting aflame while his cold eyes stared strait ahead, his right foot shifting already in preparation to turn toward her.

(hmm...cant think of much to say on this one lol I have you pretty much dead to rights here though lol)

Dalaga saw her coming and turned his hand toward her, not even attempting to dodge her as she started her attack, not seeing any need to, he knew it would not kill him in a single strike though it would do some lovely damage to him. His hand seemed to burst with flame as he launched his signature attack, the fuego de la luna at near point blank range during her own attack, he knew that if that struck her she would not easily recover for multiple reasons, she would not only be badly burned and likely missing most of the skin on her body from just the initial attack but also would be set aflame anyway, yes he could take her hit, he would not even attempt a dodge.

Dalaga looked to the side as he steadied his feet to cause himself only to slide back, his attack being the stronger of the two meant less of the blast went his way, but the cut on his arm did bother him a bit, and the shock sent through his system caused his senses to fail for a moment though he recovered from it rather quickly, purging the electricity from his system with his own energy. He turned full toward the downed woman and began walking slowly toward her, his blind eye was filling with black while his other stayed just as it was before.

"Miss Maya, if you continue to be a daredevil I cannot guarantee your safety."

He said as he shouldered his blade, flame jumping up the blade from the handle, he was obviously getting another attack like the one he just launched ready. He shook his hand at his side a few times getting rid of the tingling sensation she had caused with her attack, caring not at all for the blood that came down from the wound at first, though when the wound covered with flames and the sound of burning flesh sounded clearly it was obvious what he had done, the wound was closed after the flames died, he had closed his wound using his own power.

"One does not get so old by acting like a fool miss Maya, your long life I suppose is due to your family's sheltered upbringing...though why they sheltered one so weak is beyond me."

He said evenly, moving closer still with little attention it seemed to what she was actually doing, the flames on his blade seeming to shrink as well, pulling inside of the blade. He covered the gap between them in a short span of time, the flames completely gone by then though an odd heat stayed in the air, his free hand coming up in front of him while he reached forward to grab her slowly.
