This is a communal thread for cool legendary creatures that you would like to build an EDH deck around (or for people who don't play EDH, just cool Legendary Creatures period)

For me there's a couple of generals I'd really like to play that don't currently exist.

One that I keep coming back to is a legendary with W/U and maybe another color that returns stuff you control to your hand cheaply. I have a draft for an EDH bounce deck but there's no general who works with well at all.

Here's a stab at what I'm looking for

The Detective creature type and flavor in general are something I made up on the fly because they seem to fit the ability. Though, now that I think about it, a sort of Victorian adventure/mystery theme might be a fun hook to build a set around.

Anyway the effect is the point of the card. The second clause is necessary to prevent the card from becoming a silly combo engine and the scrying is nice but probably not worth returning something to hand unless you already wanted to do that, which is why I made the card in the first place.

Utility creatures with ETB effects are maybe my favorite cards in magic. Bant is a nice color set for that sort of build with land fetch in G drawing in U and removal of various types in W as well as some nice multicolor offerings like Court Hussar.
