Gold granted at character creation

Sir Snips of Cornwall is a Knight in a dark age campaign being run by Awesome Dimwit he is provided 1000 gold by the DM to purchase equipment. he decides that he will use a great sword costing 250 gold, he wears full plate costing 400 gold he now only has 350 gold left to spend he decides to purchase 10x throwing knives for 100 gold, with his last 250 gold he spends 100 on a standard adventures kit that comes with 10 days rations, a blanket, water skin, and a tent. he still has 150 gold on his character when the campaign starts that he can spend in game at the DMs approval.

Gold donating to the guild

Rayne is in a campaign where she must spend her own gold in making donations to the guild. she is playing in a modern campaign where monsters lurk in the shadows and feed on humanity. she decides that her character hunts these predators. She buys 2x Pistols 900 gold, she buys 4x boxes of Pistol ammo 2x UV boxes, and 2x Silver boxes totaling in 800 gold, she buys reinforced clothing to protect herself from blunt force and other damage costing 175 gold her total comes out to 1875 gold. she makes a post in the shop forum as followed.

Rayne purchased: 2x pistols, 4x special pistol ammunition, reinforced clothing, totaling in 1875. she makes the donation to the guild and the gear is placed into her character sheet.

earning gold in your RP: your chaaracter can be awarded gold from looting the bodies of fallen enemies, picking pockets, doing honest days work, etc. as long as the DM states you earned gold and awards it to your character sheets.
