It was an amazing year. Over 12K paid attendees. That is the best ever!!!!!!!!

I saw all my friends there and made lots of new ones.

For those of you that came down to the lost and found- just to chat or to find the items that the best and most honest con goers in the world turned in- I loved seeing you.

Speaking of lost and found. I say we have the most honest con goers, I want to comment. We had wallets loaded with money,and even just loose money turned in.. Not one person who came to claim their possessions said that a single penny was missing from their wallets/purses. For those of you that found money on the floor and just turned it in and didn't pocket it... OMG- you are of the most honest of honest people. I give props to everyone. We have honest people at our con and that is one of the best compliments any person get give or get.

The con will be the middle of January- it has already been posted as January 18-20- same place as always!

Actually, since the Mayans didn't user a leap year calendar, the end of the world should have come about 5-6 years ago by THEIR calendar if you are talking about that thing. So, plan on attending and I suggest you make your hotel reservations now because the rooms are already filling quickly! And remember that the Drury which is adjacent to the Hyatt and the convention center has convention rates and their rates include breakfast and dinner plus, for the adults, 2 alcoholic beverages a night. So, if they are a little pricier, it may be worth it to have 2 full meals a day included. Just saying. Staff stayed there in 2011 and I liked that part of the package deal.
