The Forest of the Rukongai, also kown as Rukon Forest or even just The Forest, is a thick ring of trees which basically surrounds the Rukongai and, at times, has districts built within pieces of the forest which reach inwards.
It is thicker in some places than in others and holds a multitude of unknown creatures and places.

Maya Shun-poed through the trees, a small smile on her lips as her hair was blown back by the speeds she was travelling at.
Hina had aquired reports of someone living in the area who was possibly a threat to the Seireitei's security and needed to be checked out. Maya had been travelling for a few hours, she was becoming a bit sore but so far she hadn't found anything and she was enjoying getting out of the Seireitei for a while so she wasn't exactly complaining.

Maya perched lightly on a branch, roughly two stories off the ground, and rested as she looked around deciding what way she'd travel next. Maya had started in the forest just outside the south rukon district and had ended up nearer to the north rukon district. Maya sighed and continued on towards the east district, looking to complete her circle of the forest before she reported to Hina.

In the forest of the rukonkai an unseated shinigami was running scared screaming for help. In the shadows a figure in black and silver was closing in for the kill. In a matter of seconds the sight of long silver hair and a black and silver hollow mask was the second to be seen as a vizard had the shinigami by the neck and stabbed him in t he chest cutting him in half. The man with the mask looked up to see maya as he growled. He turned around and started running away. His speed was abnormally fast and his spiritual pressure was that of a high powered captain with vizard powers vizard add ons. He was heading towards the deeper parts of the forest as his path was left in a black trail of reiatsu.

Feeling the two Reiatsu below her, Maya looked down at the spot where they were just as one disappeared. When the man began moving away, Maya flashed quickly down to check if the unseated man was still alive before shun-poing after the silver-haired man, keeping him in her sights despite being a low-seated Shinigami.
Maya had the potential to be at least a powerful vice-captain so it may give her an advantage, since her Reiatsu seemed weak until Maya began to fight.
It seemed that this man was the one that Maya was looking for, since other Shinigami who had been sent to find the man were found in a similar way to the man who had been killed in front of Maya only moments before

Seth was running at high speeds not bothering to shunpo. He could sense the woman he saw following him. He sighed as he lifted his left hand and placed it over his face and took off his mask. He would then disappear from the woman's sight as he shunpoed into the tree tops and making his reiatsu pressence disappear using a kido spell. He watched the black haired woman as he narrowed his eyes. he was about to draw the long katana sword on his back in an attempt to assassinate her, but he knew that would be pointless. He still drew his katana leaving his zanpakuto in the sheath. He lunged at her before he flipped as he landed a few feet from her still hidden by the kido spell. He would hold the katana to the side as he got into a kendo stance. The sword near his face as the blade pointed at the woman. Slowly and silently he approached.

"Who are you and why did you come here...are you with that pitiful man i killed earlier"

When the man disappeared from Maya's sight and senses, she paused, listening and watching in case he tried a sneak attack. Drawing her sword, just to be safe, Maya saw the grass flatten slightly and figured he was using Kido to hide himself. Maya kept cool as she saw his approach, the grass underneath his feet flattening with each step "I am Maya Hitsumori, twelfth seat of Squad One of the Gotei Thirteen. What I am here for really isn't any of your business but that man you killed was not from my squad and was not here for the same reason I am" Maya moved into a defensive position as she watched the currently hidden man's footsteps move slowly closer.

Seth was looking at the woman as he grinned at her defensive stance. He slowly stood straight as he took the blade away from her face, The long five foot blade of his sword cut the ground as he swung it before he sheathed it on his back. Looking at her he stood right infront of her as he made his kido spell wear off as she could see his rather sexy face. His silver eyes meeting her gold eyes he smirked. Leaning back he started walking past her as his left arm shot out as he grabbed her rear before he let go. In a black burst of lighting he went shunko and disappeared from the range of her senses. He would be hiding in his hide out inside of the forest. It was a black log cabin that he found years ago and turned it into a good decent place to live.
